We had the misfortune today of wasting an 1 hr. roundtrip drive to experience the worst gyros possibly ever made. New management, NO manager on the floor, young people working their first job here. I don't know what side of the planet one would have to travel to suffer more offensive gyros like these. Unlike the original lamb gyros, these were some hybrid, air-injected, whipped-up meat molded back together to give the appearance of meat. One did not need teeth to bite through this mush-meat substitute with zero flavor. I tried three small bites and threw out the meal, as did my wife. The sandwich came out lukewarm and the fries barely warm. We spent $26.00, took a few bites, and walked the food back to the counter to throw it out. We asked to speak to a manager; nope, none here. We politely informed them how poor the food tasted, and that is when we found out about the new owners. We told them we were offended by the product, and they just walked away, not their problem. There was not one table with customers; how could they serve non-hot food? We informed them that we would never be back; embarrassing product. We were wiping our lips an hour later after the few bites, attempting to get the taste off our lips. It tasted like some type of grease fat - disgusting. As I write this, I see my previous review of 3-16-2024. This is HOW far this new restaurant has slid down the hill. They are currently doing a carryout business; this will NOT last long. The ONLY thing that gives this a 1-star rating is the fact that it looks like a restaurant and the walls are still standing. Could you make any less effort to run a business????

I got a souvlaki pita with fries and it was solid. The pita was great, and the fries were like McDonald's but crispy - which IMO is a great goal to aim for. No complaints and will most definitely be back soon. The man running the front of house (I'm assuming the owner) was super nice. He told me they prefer orders to go through Toast and not Uber Eats FYI. I'm so glad we've got Big Bite'z a part of the community here in Cornelius.

This shouldn't be a big deal but this is why I left. I don't go somewhere to have to use my phone. If I want a beer (or wine), I'm there to relax, not work. I was also in a dark corner of the bar, where it's like being trapped in a corner. Btw, there was a drunk guy singing in the bathroom. When at Kickback Jacks all the way in Mooresville, two people mentioned this place to me and how great it was. So, I think this is a "It's me, not you" situation. The place should make sense in theory--it should be enjoyable when you look at it. In reality, it's a no for me. I'll stick to my favorite haunts (and find a new place to add so I have 3.5). All that said, I still might pop in one more time during the day to confirm I don't like it. This review is subjective. Objectively, you might love it. For me, I have tried three times and have never felt an ounce of warmth from the atmosphere or anyone. You gotta feel good walking into a place. I was running late so I had to screenshot my reservation and the message/remember to see us in thirty minutes. The waitress waiting on us was attentive and made sure give use the best experience. My party of three all ordered from the restuarant week menu. We also ordered two additional appetizers. All of the appetizers were very good. My one guest was not pleased with her salmon dish but the other salmon dish. We all enjoyed our cocktails and dessert. The ambiance is definitely amazing and is perfect for a date night. I will definitely venture back at some point but in the future I would love to see more of a diverse wait staff.
