I like when everything is the same price parking was fairly easy. The people that work there were really nice and the ambience was cool. I do love farmers market markets.

My favorite vendors are Hummus Heaven, Fungi farms mushrooms and Donna's tamales. They also sell wonderful Asian vegetables and tons of delicious fruit. They only have one flower vendor with beautiful flowers at an affordable price. Best part is they are very generous with their samples so I always leave here full. Most vendors accept Apple Pay and credit cards. Every Tuesday and Saturday rain or shine. Parking can be challenging on Saturday.

We purchased strawberries, blueberries and apples. We came towards the end of the market and the bakery vendor was selling their baked goods two for the price of one! This is a sweet market and I look forward to stopping by the next time in the area on a Sunday morning!

They often have fresh caught fishes, fresh produce, fresh flowers, fresh local honey and this place has naturally made ingredients cream and lotion for your face and body. One thing I love the most about this farmer's market is that there is always a live band or live music! Parking is street parking in Chinatown which is tough. You can come locally by bus or get off the BART on 12th Street City Center and walk towards Jack London. Some vendors take credit cards but cash is gold here! I love coming back on sunny days and always look forward every Friday mornings!!

If you are a vendor trying to sell at a farmers market, do not apply with this farmers market…read more I submitted an application to sell with this farmers market, and they had my credit card on file (to pay an application fee). A few days after applying, I got an automated email saying my application was approved and was immediately charged $235 (annual membership fee and a stall fee) before I could say anything. They charged me this without saying anything or asking me for legal paperwork, certificates, or a product sample. I followed up over several phone calls and emails asking for clarification on what they require to actually be a seller. I never received a reply (even to this day). They just took my money and said nothing. Luckily I was able to dispute the charge and get my money back. For a farmers market that claims to care about "social impact," this behavior was unacceptable. My advice to any vendors would be to find farmers markets that are not quick to take your money and will actually communicate normally.

There were probably less than 10 vendors when I got here at 2pm. I'm not sure if I went on a slow day or if there were other vendors that had already sold out and left. If you were looking for some fresh fruits and vegetables, the options here were very limited. One vendor was selling only strawberries and another was selling nuts and citrus fruits. Other vendors that I saw sold honey and hummus. There were people walking around Jack London Square but they didn't seem interested in the farmers market. I felt bad for the vendors because the ones left looked like they still had a lot left to sell. I thought the vendors that were selling cooked food were doing much better since Plank was right next door and was packed with people watching the NFL playoffs. I would say the positives about coming here were the waterfront views. The other thing that caught my eye was how clean the floor was like there was no trash or squashed fruit on the ground that you had to avoid. This was not a farmers market I would want to go back to. It might be worth checking out if you were already in the area. You were better off saving your gas and time by going to the Old Oakland farmers market that opens every Friday on 9th street near Chinatown.

Sometimes they get their bike back untouched, sometimes alot of the parts had been swapped with a different bike (im guessing to try to disguise the bike from its owner), and they argue, threaten, intimidate and even literally go to blows over these bikes. Its like the cantina in star wars, bunch of freaks over there. It is very entertaining the same way that watching "cops" on tv is entertaining. Check it out! The Greek Table was an excellent genuine and excellent food experience, as presumed. The hummus, pita and baklava was very traditional and perfect. We highly recommend it, plus be back for more. We got home, no tomatoes, sandwich was missing stuff, my boyfriend's sandwich was missing stuff. It was disappointing. My father was very upset. I think they could be more friendly as well as being more adapting to certain people who are just communicating a specific need or want in their purchase. They also have some household items you might need in a pinch, things like dishwasher soap or other cleaning supplies. My biggest shoutout goes to their supply of some Asian grocery items! They have a decent variety of different instant noodles (when you just need that cheap comfort food), and they have all sorts of spices and sauces. I am 1/2 Filipino and cook sinigang sometimes - they have the Tamarind Soup Mix by Knorr which is used as the base of the sinigang soup by many including myself haha. If you haven't tried sinigang, trust me, you need it in your life! Soooo good. Also, the ladies who work here always say hi and how are you, they are friendly and you feel good about supporting them :) Prices are also very reasonable and competitive.
