Absolutely a GEM of a find! Why aren't more people talking about this cozy cafe? Why doesn't it pop up when I search for vegan options? I happened to be shopping nearby and spotted it on Google maps, otherwise I would have never known. There's plenty of chilled grab-and-go options, including salads, wraps, noodles, and bowls, plus smoothies, hot sandwiches, lattes, and more. I'd say 85% of the menu is vegan, including the deeply satisfying spinach, feta, and egg breakfast sandwich I got. Even more impressive was the fact that it used gluten-free bread, too! Reasonable prices, fast service, and healthy food. You can't miss.

This chain is a regular stop for me in between meetings for work or appointments. I especially like the protein bites that are like a dessert and the ultimate warrior with B vitamin, protein, and echinacea. The cauliflower soup is good at times, but sometimes the recipe isn't as consistent I've never tried grilled cheese sandwich but I'm curious. The coffee is beyond energizing for someone who doesn't drink a lot of coffee!

What a treat for anyone looking for plant-based and gluten-free options! The OG burger was so tasty. I added avocado. Also loved the immunity tea, which gave me a nice afternoon boost. Banana bread was absolutely delicious. Will be back. Only thing I'd suggest are more sides to go with the burgers for a more complete feeling meal.

I absolutely love coming here! It has been my new go to for lunch. The place is always clean and staff is always friendly and accommodating! As someone who has a gluten free this is a dream! The no-tella muffin is delicious! I also had tried the OG burger and the classic veggie burger. They both are so filling! On another day I grabbed the rainbow bowl in the to go fridge and was amazed how much I got for the price, not to mention how amazing the tofu and dressing tasted! Definitely go check this place out!

This was an excellent place for lunch! They had a wide variety of healthy gluten free salads, soups, and smoothies. I had the Milky Way smoothie and OG Veggies Burger which was one of the best gluten free buns I have had. I would highly recommend this place!

Had an amazing experience at Green and Tonic in Westport today! Everything at all Green and Tonic locations is plant based and absolutely delicious. I tried the avocado toast, made with fresh avocado and seed bread that is made freshly in house. I also tried a granola bowl with cashew milk and a hot matcha, both were super yummy and comforting. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful. Ambiance is casual - perfect spot to catch up with a friend or get some work done. Can't wait to go back!

I love that I can get delicious healthy food here. Quick friendly service. Spaced out tables. My daughter loved the Milky Way smoothie, kale salad & spiced lemonade.

Chipotle sweet potato kale salad - healthy with a spicy kick
    Ken S.

It's a nice sign of the times that a place full of healthy items and superfoods has replaced a cupcake shop. Customers tipped me off about G&T. Pricey, they said, but good...and healthy. I started with the chipotle sweet potato kale salad, which comes with a lot of great ingredients literally crammed into a small container. It's small, but it packs a punch from the chipotle chiles. The sweet potato is also combined with pumpkin seeds and dried cranberries. It was a nice way to kick off lunch. The Mylky Way smoothie with cacao, almond, milk provided a nice counter balance to the salad's spiciness. The flavors, which also include dates and almond butter and a touch of cinnamon, come together nicely. While it hit the spot while still eating well, I was glad I had the salad. The smoothie alone would not have been enough for lunch. The staff here was friendly and the smoothie was ready quickly. I would have to agree with another reviewer who said she would have like to have seen more reusable dishes and cups used for those who stay and eat. Being conscious of the environment would seem to go hand in hand with eating well. Straws and plastic utensils wrapped in plastic do not. If you have a whole food/super food itch, Green & Tonic would be a great place to scratch it.

** Bait & Switch Pricing - Greedy out of touch owner **…read more Stopped in with my two teenage daughters for a quick snack after school. One ordered a juice, one ordered a smoothie. After taking the order, the staff said they couldn't make the juice. Fine; we agreed to one smoothie split into two cups. Instead, they overfilled two cups. At the register, the owner tried to charge me for two smoothies (nearly $12 each). I explained we only ordered one smoothie to be divided. He looked at the cups and said they were full, so I had to pay for two. That's not how ordering works. If he had half a clue, he would've investigated further instead of immediately trying to squeeze the customer. He didn't. He then took one smoothie away from my daughter, said he'd divide the other, went into the back, came out with an empty cup, handed it to me, and told me to divide it myself. After the bait-and-switch and then adding insult to injury, I finally broke down and called him an M.F.; though frankly, that's too generous he is really just a low-life POS. He responded by calling me a cheapskate and telling me to get out (in front of my kids). For the record, both daughters also bought other items in this already overpriced store. This wasn't about money. It was about refusing to be taken advantage of. Maybe this kind of conduct flies somewhere wherever he is from, but it's not how business is done in the U.S. or in Westport. And last I checked, the basic rule still applies: the customer is always right, especially when the facts are this clear. Plenty of better options nearby (GG & Joes has better smoothies!). We won't be back.

After they became aware of the availability of a large space restaurant in the city of Norwalk, the restaurant migrated to its present spot. LOCATION: The restaurant is in a lively location, with a movie theater across the street and a convenient parking lot in the back. ATMOSPHERE: The space, which is divided by walls into three dining areas, has a "shabby chic" aesthetic and is lit by tall and wide paned industrial windows. EXPERIENCE: I've visited for brunch and Happy Hour with friends who live or work in Norwalk. Chef Taibe is creative and skillful, and I'm forever impressed by the dishes he serves. As a result, it comes as no surprise that the restaurant was recognized as best in Fairfield County during the Connecticut Restaurant Association's 2023 Crazies award ceremony. (Chef Taibe was finalist for best chef in all of the state the very same year.) The pimento cheese starter topped with Benton ham jam (happy hour/dinner) and smoked brisket hash (brunch) highlight how Chef Jeff Taibe transforms and elevates common menu items into ones that are memorable and crave-inducing. TIPS: Adding to the menu variety, specials are available between 5-9 pm as follows: Tuesdays: Burger plus Beer combo ($18); Wednesdays: Seafood discounts and specials; Thursdays: Smoked Prime Rib ($65); Fridays: Fossil Farm Game specials. It appears that walk ins are always seated in bar dining area, regardless of whether the central dining area appears free. If you rather not sit on a high top bench or stool, a reservation is recommended. The restaurant is also accessible via a back parking lot entrance.

The noodles had the perfect texture: chewy, springy, and able to hold onto the broth beautifully. Nothing was overcooked or mushy . What impressed me most was how balanced the ramen was.
