Food was delicious and flavorful , very authentic with some dishes on the menu you can't find everywhere. Service was exceptional. Everyone was super friendly and kind. The place is small with a few tables and Indian art on the walls. Definitely worth checking out, will be back!

Great family environment for all veg food. Delicious and fresh, plated nicely. The noodles were also great! I also had coconut bubble tea and the boba wasn't the softest but delicious creamy coconut cream flavor! Very helpful staff.

This place is an absolute gem of an Indian vegetarian restaurant nestled in a small strip mall. It's a little outside of the main Hicksville Indian area but well worth the detour. It's also made up of people from the old Mithaas prior to Covid - they know their food! The food itself is really amazing & this place has become our new go to place for Indian snacks. The service was quick with great recommendations & always a big smile from the staff.

It is a rare sight to see new Indian restaurants that serve only vegetarian food. We were excited to try Atithi. Of course, we had our doubts and tried only their special thali. The thali came with 3 curries, 1 aloo gobi, a cup of jeera rice, papas, choice of roti, naan or puri, salad and a gulab jamoon. It is good enough for 1 person. We were pleased with the taste of all the items. The staff was very kind, had a smiling face and very friendly. The place is quite small and it will be difficult for large groups. The interiors were clean, they had good cutlery and we had an enjoyable experience.

We loved our experience at Atithi. The service was superb and the food was excellent. The restaurant is small, so not ideal for large groups. We will definitely be back for another date night, maybe next Valentine's Day or before!

Small but very good food and prices. Best Indian food Ive found so far in long island.

The place is very small. The service is slow and Pathure Chole is average. I like Haka noodles.

The inside is very millennial style with the grey and black ambiance. It's pretty open spatially and there's a menu on the wall. They make their own brewed iced tea. Their sandwiches are pretty clear in description. I dislike that the chicken sandwich pastrami sauce has pork in it, so anyone who avoids pig products like the plague needs to inform them when making the order. The sandwich itself was pretty good. The bread didn't cause my lips to flare up like other yeasts do. They didn't go heavy on the balsamic vinaigrette. The workers came out to greet me and give me a tour even though it's pretty self explanatory. After the drinks refrigerator and sandwiches menu, there are three additional menus for sides, fruit/veggie smoothies and protein smoothies. I ordered a chocolate protein smoothie and the cups they have are larger than the portions they serve. They apologized like it was an inconvenience to me, but actually I was happy that I didn't have to worry about any overflow or spillage. I think it's great that it's a tad bigger. I also bought a pan de nata to try. They forgot to add the cinnamon, but it didn't need it. It was done to perfection. Bakers of All Nations in Mineola now has some good competition. On the walls surrounding the smoothie bar and dining area there's a mural that explains the type of cuisine you're getting and about the chef's travels. It's kind of neat. Happy eats!

The bakery also provided the start up space originally in Hicksville during the incubator phase. It makes perfect sense when you have a delicious warm crispy Portuguese roll for the sandwiches. This talented brother had many years in the food industry in Portugal and is a fan of their crispy styled bread/rolls. They are now made right here. Sandwiches are nicely made, fresh, flavorful and a step above the generic sandwich places. Elevated flavors and dressed with a nice vinaigrette. Lots of choices. We started with the popular and will venture out to the more creative. Sardines and octopus looked good but can wait until another day.

There are some pictures on the windows on what dishes are what. I got the shrimp pho and my husband and I both got this vermicelli type salad. Everything was DELICIOUS. We also got these rolls that were amazing as well. The service was great. I'm assuming it was the owner, was the one who was helping us, and was amazing. He said the soul was ready before the vermicelli 'salad' and asked if we wanted it out first. We said sure and both enjoyed the soup. I myself put too much Sriracha in it so it was too spicy but that was totally my fault, not the owners. I put a little in at first and it didn't see like it went through enough, and then I put a bit more and it was too much. There also was a bbq type sauce on the table as well. From what I'm assuming. My husband and I will one hundred percent be coming back to try more!!! I highly recommend this place

The Godzilla (crispy pork, cabbage/carrot slaw, with tonkatsu sauce) was packed with thin slices of perfectly fried pork. The tonkotsu sauce was slightly sweet and tangy, and the carrot and cabbage slaw was very complementary to the plethora of pork. The only change I would make next time is perhaps adding some onions (personal preference) and ask for some extra sauce. The Crispy Cuban was also fantastic spin to the classic. Again, packed with crispy pork, the sandwich was then filled with the perfect amount of ham, melty Swiss, and mustard. Nothing felt heavy. I wish I had seen the list of sides before we ordered. The homemade tater tots look amazing. Before we left, my boyfriend and I grabbed a menu and have decided to check off each one we order every week go. You can bet we will be returning soon!

Part of a group of 6, I ordered the pork chop. As I ate the dish I noticed a faint "off" taste. But it's covered in mushroom gravy so I ate 2/3rds of it before I noticed that it was really off closer to the bone. I asked my wife to smell it and she recoiled. I told the waitress and she said she'd tell the manager. Later she brings the check and I asked what the manager said. "Oh, he said he would come see you". He never did (why?), so she went to get him. I asked if he smelled it and he said yes, but it only smelled a "little off". Are you serious? Then, get this: he said "I noticed that you ate nearly all of it". True , but there was no denying that it smelled bad. He did apologize (half heartedly) but as I'd eaten much of it, he said there was nothing he could do...if only I'd have mentioned it earlier. He was supercilious and dismissive after serving bad pork. I didn't ask for anything, I just think the kitchen needs to know when a food quality or freshness issue happens. As a result, Sal's is off my list and will be off the list of my friends, family and anyone who asks. What a waste of an opportunity. If he had done the right thing, I would feel differently. Take a pass on Sal's. At least until they fix the manager problem and occasional food problem.
