    Iced coffee

The place smelled great when we left the airport so coming back though we grabbed a coffee. I got a black iced coffee. It was fine

This place was my saving grace. A nice big, open layout perfect to accommodate travelers who need a place to take a break. I had a very long break before my next flight. I was so early, I wasn't able to check in either so the location of this pre-security coffee shop was perfect. I found a nice and secluded corner of the shop to post up to work. The coffee here was okay, but the workers here were super nice and upbeat. I spent 4 hours here and the time passed quickly. No real vegan options besides the granola and black coffee but I came prepared with food so I was okay. Added some Death Wish instant coffee to the watered down brewed coffee I got and it was adequate. Grateful this was here so I could have a comfy place to work!

Came by because they offer a 32 ounce cold brew on their menu. After ordering I was informed they only have 16 ounce cups which would have been fine since two 16 ounce cups hold the same amount of coffee as one 32 ounce cup. Unfortunately I was told they could not sell it to me that way, if I wanted 32 ounces of coffee I would have to buy two 16s separately. Attached the menu for reference. To emphasize - this isn't the employee's fault, this is what they were told. Even so, it's a racket. Get your coffee elsewhere in the terminal.

12 oz Americano - decent price.

You may have found yourself in a similar situation: stranded at the airport late in the evening; or ... in my case waiting at the airport for a friend whose flight was delayed; you're hungry or thirsty or bored and just want something to take your mind of the in"terminal"able wait. BNA, Nashville International Airport was my latest hurry up and wait scenario. Fortunately it was just before 10 pm, so while the food court had buttoned up for the day, Green Beans Coffee Company was still (thankfully) open. Being this late in the day meant they had limited food on hand, but there was a bit of soup left in one kettle, and coffee just waiting to scorch someone's lips or tongue. Green Beans Coffee is located near Baggage Claim #3 at BNA and is open from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm. I ordered a Double Expresso Americano (decaf at this hour) and asked the server to leave room for cream. He prepared it fresh and exactly as I ordered, leaving enough room for some half and half. And, fortunately for me, enough room to plop in a handful of ice cubes. The cubes were most assuredly needed because, even after sitting for a short while at one of the small tables (some with rocking chairs) near the coffee kiosk, the coffee was still super-duper-screeching HOT. A short wait later, it finally cooled enough for me to sip and enjoy a delightful cup of full-flavored Joe. Speaking of "Joe", check out their "Cup of Joe for a Joe" donation program that provides a cup of hot coffee along with a personal message - from you - to one or some of our troops serving away from home. I know I sure would have appreciated this service in 'Nam in 1967-68. So a big tip of the hat to this operation.) A varied, albeit small, selection of foods is available during the hours listed, but, as mentioned above, at end of this day only a few muffins and brownies remained - along with that aforementioned last cup of soup purchased by the Flight Attendant in line ahead of me. Their normal menu at BNA includes Breakfast Bagels and Croissants, Oatmeal, Salads and Sandwiches, Juice, Chips, Yogurt Parfaits, Muffins, Brownies and Cinnamon Rolls. This of course in addition to an array of Expressos, Blended Drinks, Italian Soda, and Teas. That's a decent selection for a small kiosk. By the way, you can order ahead on line and pick up your food and drink on-the-go if you're in a hurry. The main photo on their website seems to imply that broader selections might be available at other locations - so visit their website, check out the locations for your next layover or incoming relative "terminalibus longius insidias" (extended terminal wait.)

Sandwich, salad, yoghurt, they got a little bit of everything.

So when I spotted one in the Donelson neighborhood of Nashville during a work trip, I didn't hesitate to pull in. Fun fact: despite the name, Dutch Bros isn't from the Netherlands. It's an American coffee company founded in Grants Pass, Oregon, by brothers Dane and Travis Boersma. That Pacific Northwest coffee culture definitely shines through. It was exactly what I remembered--friendly people, fast service, fair prices, and consistently great coffee. If you're new to Dutch Bros, do yourself a favor and order the Golden Eagle. It's rich, creamy, perfectly balanced, and one of those drinks you find yourself craving long after you've finished it. They also have plenty of creative drinks if you're looking for something different, and they don't skimp on the espresso. If you need a caffeine boost before hitting the road, they've got you covered. What really keeps me coming back, though, is the people. Every Dutch Bros I've visited has been genuinely welcoming. The staff always seems happy to be there, and that positive energy makes a quick coffee stop feel a little brighter. Whenever I see a Dutch Bros on a road trip, I make it a point to swing through the drive-thru. It's become one of my favorite travel traditions. If you're passing through Nashville or you're lucky enough to have one in your hometown, put Dutch Bros on your list. I have a feeling you'll understand why so many people are loyal fans. Life is too short not to eat--or drink--well. Get out there and taste the world.

There's a small parking lot and also a drive through. I headed inside just so I could get a vibe for the place. It was around 10:30 on a Saturday morning and it was packed but the line was moving efficiently. There are a few tables and seating areas that look comfy and many people were enjoying attractive brunch plates in addition to coffee. Service was friendly and patient and everyone was working hard as a cohesive team. None of their seasonal specialty drinks were really calling my name, so I settled on an iced cinnamon dolce latte. I saw on their Instagram they had a Thai coconut mango sticky Rice Krispie treat on special and that had ME written all over it, so I was thrilled when I managed to snag one of those. My drink came out quickly and I was on my way! My latte was tasty. Not too sweet, balanced, and smooth. It was a scoche heavy on milk imo but I definitely enjoyed it overall. The cinnamon flavor was lovely. The Thai coconut mango sticky Rice Krispie treat was super yummy and such a unique and cool idea! A little more coconut flavor would've taken it to heavenly heights, but the mango bits were in there at a perfect ratio and added some great texture. Would happily eat this again! Definitely a sweet and inventive local spot with a super wholesome vibe. I'd return in the future next time I'm nearby in Nashville!

The interior decor is beautiful and creates a really nice atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, something I saw really changed my impression. Watching that made me uncomfortable and raised concerns for me about food safety practices. It's frustrating because the food itself is truly great and the service was kind. I'm leaving this review in hopes that management sees it and addresses the issue, because with stronger food-handling standards this place could easily be a 5-star restaurant. It took me a few years to make it to District Coffee, and now that I have made it, I can't stop going! I am a classic coffee shop guy, and a classic iced coffee guy, so the simple pleasures meet a simple space when I pop in here. While I love sampling their seasonal flavors, they always create magic no matter the season, I normally go for the cold brew with a splash of almond milk and an addition of the sugar free vanilla syrup. Simple perfection! They have a good-sized food menu with several items from meat pies, sandwiches, waffles and even tots. I have had the loaded tots, and while an odd combination with coffee, they were quite tasty! My usual is a pastry of some kind, whatever catches my eye in the case when I get to the counter is what usually ends up on my plate. The space is well laid out and features a few spaces that each have their own vibes from the small tables for those working or studying, to the window counter, the backroom with a communal table and a couch and they even have a boardroom that is rentable for those super official meetings. I normally tuck myself in the backroom, in one of the plush side chairs and hang out for a bit. Service is okay here, honestly probably my only critique. Level of service is definitely the least consistent in my visits so far. Never enough to keep me away, but definitely enough for me to notice. Overall, I am a fan of District Coffee, and when I find myself cruising around this part of South Nashville, you best believe I will be swinging by.
