On two separate occasions recently I ordered arrangements for...US! I hadn't used Hamiltons previously, but I wish I had. The flowers were arranged very creatively, they were fresh, and they were so aromatic that I was ecstatic. The scent was so noticeable that I thought they must have been sprayed with something before coming to us. I doubt that but, even if they were, the scent and the beauty of the flowers would have made up for it. I ordered early Friday morning online for the flowers to be delivered next day (Saturday) in time for the funeral at 4pm but Maddy went beyond and delivered asap ON THE SAME DAY (Friday) in time for the family viewing at 11am. For my sister's memorial service on August 19, 2023, I ordered and paid for two white roses on August 9, 2023. Hamilton's Florist was to deliver the two white roses an hour before the service began. On a table in front of the altar, there would be a vase of two white roses representing loving tributes from my brother and myself and placed next to a picture of my sister. That was the plan. A friend send me a planter and said she had a terrible time ordering: they weren't getting it and she was amazed I received the order. I did get it, but the delivery person left the planter on my front steps in the hot sun and many of the leaves burned. That being said, the arrangement of plants (6) was very nice. They outgrew their container and 4 of the plants survived transplanting. read more

We live in Massachusetts and we were planning a beach wedding in Florida for February 1st. We hadn't yet picked out a florist because we wanted to meet in person so while we were in Florida at the end of December we dropped by Hamilton's Florist and got to meet Paul and Patrice. We told them the wedding was in a little over a month and explained that we were looking for a tropical feel and showed them some pictures of ideas we had. Paul and Patrice said they would be able to work with us despite our short time frame and set about working with us and our ideas. Paul and Patrice were an absolute delight to work with and they really did an amazing and thorough job bringing our flower vision to life. I showed them pictures and talked about the idea I had for a big bouquet with birds of paradise, ginger flower, monstera leaves and other tropical flowers and I was just blown away with how stunning it turned out! Our centerpieces were huge, full and bursting with flowers and all the guests were complementing how they were the most beautiful centerpieces they had ever seen! I honestly just can't say enough about how incredibly pleased we were with the flowers and working with Paul and Patrice. I was in a bind this Christmas eve because I couldn't find any poinsettias, it doesn't help that I'm one of those last minute Christmas shoppers. Desperate I went to Yelp for help. Hamiltons Florist popped up first and I gave it a shot. It was a busy day for the florist, regardless she made it a priority to assist me. The florist was professional and sweet. I ordered $100 worth of flowers from them. I said no carnations and a bouquet that would communicate love. The bouquet ended up having red carnation flowers in it and with some orange, yellow and green flowers, plus many others colors, it communicated more Autumn or just joy and happiness. Although the bouquet was very big and the flowers beautiful, it didn't meet my expectations and I was disappointed as my girl hates carnation flowers. I called the shop and Patrice felt so bad about it and apologized and admitted a mistake had been made and wanted to send my girl more flowers at no charge and get it right this time. She did a beautiful job and this time it definitely communicated love and was super cute. She made up for it in my mind and I know that mistakes can happen sometimes.
