SO happy to have found this gem in Dorado. My family is vegan and it can be tough to find great sports to eat at, especially in smaller towns. We stumbled upon Green Bites and are so glad we landed here for lunch. The ambience is so fresh and cute. It's a great location in downtown Dorado. The food was fantastic - so many DELICIOUS vegan options. Our brunch was so good that my husband and son each ordered extra to go for later! Highly recommend for fresh healthy food and refreshments. We will definitely be back when we visit next time. My only wish is that they would use real silverware instead of plastic, for the environment- but this might have been a fluke when we were there ;) read more

I went two different days to grab coffee and while they were both tasty, it was not much bang for your buck. They only have one size iced, I asked for a Carmel latte and it was $7 and 1/4 of the cup was sauce. read more

Being in the top 10% for reviewer I can say this. The Salmon was over cooked. Food looks great but lacks on flavor and more so on service. I asked the waitresses to please pack the rest of the food to go. Instead she threw it out after repeatedly being told by the other staff not to throw it out. Furthermore when asked if I'd be charged the owner said yes and I wouldn't compensate in any way for the lack of service by making another dish or via check. Afterwards the waitresses started to argue with me stating that I what I said was wrong. I didn't respond and said that's fine I am just paying the bill. Bill came out to $104. Definitely not worth the time. Food looks amazing as far as presentation however Coffee was room temperature. Pancakes were dry. Scrambled eggs where over cooked Salmon was over cooked on both orders. language was definitely not a barrier as I speak fluent Spanish and i am a native to Puerto Rico. Translation Estar en el 10% superior para revisor, puedo decir esto. El salmón estaba recocido. La comida se ve muy buena pero le falta sabor y más en el servicio. Les pedí a las camareras que por favor empaquetaran el resto de la comida para llevar. En cambio, lo tiró después de que el resto del personal le dijera repetidamente que no lo tirara. Además, cuando se le preguntó si me cobrarían, el propietario dijo que sí y que no compensaría la falta de servicio de ninguna manera preparando otro plato o mediante un cheque. The husbae and I are vacationing in Puerto Rico so we have to try the local fare for good eats. Y'all know I go to Yelp to find everything. Yelp hasn't failed me yet. This is a small quaint cafe on the out skirts of Dorado. Unfortunately we were unable to dine in because our negative COVID test was more than 48 hours old. I was disappointed but I cannot be mad at the owners because they are just trying to keep their patrons and themselves safe. However, I will say I checked the 'Welcome to Puerto Rico' website and the CDC and both say a negative test within 72 hours as of Feb 1st but it's all good because we were able to place a to-go order over the phone. I ordered the pancake combo with a mocha and the husbae ordered the croissant omelette sandwich (who woulda thunk, an omelette sandwich) with a regular coffee. Both entrees were very tasty, although I thought my pancake combo came with eggs and a meat, it did not. It came with strawberries, bananas, and granola. They must've known I was on a diet. The hubby wasn't fond of the coffee but my mocha was good. Overall a great little find. I would definitely recommend. read more

My sister and I chose to visit Green Bites, Dorado while on a trip because it was identified as a vegetarian and vegan restaurant on Google Search. But the reality is their customer service bites. Even though the logo behind the counter includes the words "vegetarian" and "vegan", Green Bites employees showed no interest in providing a good experience let alone vegetarian food during our visit on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Lack of interest and overall customer service would sum this up, but if you are interested in the details here's what happened The menu did not contain photos. Items were written down on a blackboard, some without ingredient none with prices. Menu was unavailable in individual sheets on the tables or in digital format. After asking questions on some vegan dishes, I ordered an "avocado toast" with an egg as a side. Unfortunately, the waitress did not inform us that the dish contained bacon/bacon, despite our vegetarian centered conversation. Upon receiving the plate and noticing the bits of meat, I asked if the bacon was real. The waitress confirmed that it was. I expressed my surprise and explained that I was under the impression that Green Bites was a vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Her response was that they serve vegetarian food along with other options. She then walked away. The waitress could have offered to remake the dish or at least show some concern over the situation. Unfortunately, she did absolutely nothing. This lack of attention to detail and failure to communicate the offerings to a NEW customer was extremely disappointing. What is truly concerning is the lack of consideration to correct the misunderstanding and remedy the customer experience. Instead, the attention of the waitresses was mainly focused on the closing time. My sister and I felt rushed from the moment we sat down. The employees were constantly visiting our table to ask if we were ready to order, but they did not make the slightest effort to explain the menu or the operation of the place. An hour before closing time, we were informed that the kitchen would cease operations in 25 minutes. I respect employees shift times and the policies of each place. However as we payed $40 dollars for one (1) avocado toast and two (2) coffee martinis I wondered how much profit the business owner lost in the remaining hour due to lack of care. Not to mention future visits and bad word of mouth. My intention was ro support local businesses on my beloved island of Puerto Rico so we opted to visit A ​​la Paella restaurant in Levittown where we experienced excellent service and food. read more

I had a good experience at Greenbites. For starters, the building was green and couldn't be missed. The interior was clean and modern + some items on their menu had very unique twists. I indulged in a chai latte tinted with Pink. It was absolutely delicious. I then I got their big breakfast; I was never clear on the name though because I went to their instagram page and chose something that way. I completely understand the concept of the restaurant. It is not a fast food, therefore, the clients should patiently wait. However, my main complaint is the attitude of the employees and their attention to clients. I arrived, approximately at 11:15am and waited until 12:00pm to be seated. First of all, the attitude from a specific employee when my family and I were waiting to be added to the waiting list was aggressive, and I quote: "We have the restaurant full. Definitely, you go to the waiting list". After we got seated, the same person took our order of all 6 members. We waited 3 hours to get the food and the worst part was that one plate never arrived. The other five plates arrived one at a time and the employee never offered anything to drink. I recognized that the food was really good, but the service was 0/10. For a business to be successful the most important part is to provide a GOOD SERVICE TO CLIENTS. Some people get angry when hungry and that's the reason of why they go to the restaurant, so the least attitude that the employees must show is EMPATHY. If the employee can't show that, it isn't the correct work for her/him. Great food is important, but the service is ESSENTIAL. I do not recommend this place. read more
