I've been going to this dry cleaner for years. Recently, I brought in a shirt to be tailored (taken in). After a week, I came to pick it up, but when I tried it on, it still fit exactly the same. The woman (wife) who handles the tailoring insisted she had taken it in, but it was clear nothing had been done. On top of that, they overcharge for tailoring. Paid by card. Green Cleaners is located in a plaza near Starbucks and offers plaza parking. They are Covid ready with workers wearing masks. I went in on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. There was a nice man who took my sweater, let me know the price to get it dry cleaned, and when to pick up. My sweater was ready by the pickup time and day and it was cleaned beautifully. I've only had one item dry cleaned before and there was no issue but I'm mostly reviewing the alterations which I've gotten done a few times now. The first few were simple enough: taking in seams, adding darts, and special hems. All were great. This most recent one I tried to get altered at a couple places when I was in San Diego and was turned away because the material was deemed too difficult (pleated faux leather). Brought the skirt here and although it was determined to be a tougher job, she accepted the challenge. When I picked it up, she went above and beyond my expectations. Looking at the seams and the positioning of the tag & zipper, I couldn't even tell that there was anything altered except for the fact that it finally fit me! We moved to Morgan Hill last summer and a friend recommended Green Cleaners. I have used their services multiple times since. I've had nothing but amazing service from the owners. The pricing is standard but the quality was great. A few months back I was running late getting home from work. The cleaners closed at 5:00 so I called asking if they would wait for 5 min. I absolutely love Green Cleaners and the owners. I have been to many different dry cleaning businesses but I love this place in particular. Yes, I'm sure there are posts about issues people have had but I have had the same with other businesses, too. Things happen. The difference is the owners are amazing people. They care about their clients. They even called me to bring a dress back in because the owner "lost sleep" thinking about the clasp the dress came with on the front of the gown. He was worried it wasn't secure and it was nothing they did to the dress, it was how the dress was made. I brought the dress back and at no charge his wife reinforced the clasp. THAT is customer service. Have I mentioned they are good-hearted people who love their country? I think that's worth mentioning. I'm a Green Cleaners fan forever! read more

I'll preface this by saying I've never actually gotten the chance to use their services. Here's why... The first time I ever tried to use their services, I brought a pair of pants that needed alterations. I needed the waist to be slightly smaller. These weren't a pair of jeans. They were slacks. The lady who does the alterations looked at my pants for two minutes and said no. She also said to take it back to where I bought them. Lol. The second time I tried to give this place a chance, I brought a button up and pants to be dry cleaned only. I asked for the earliest pick up date, and the man cringed and said "One week?" The employees or owners are pretty nice. But I'll still take my business elsewhere. read more

I came in with a cheap blue and white striped blazer from forever 21 that I was scared to wash myself. The owners (I think) were very upfront with me and explained that it was possible that the blazer could become damaged due to bleeding of the colors during the cleaning process. I very much appreciated this honesty, but we decided to take the risk. I just got the blazer back and it was in fine condition. I'll be back if I have any other dry cleaning needs! read more

They do great work and are very courteous. We also like the fact that they use products that are environment-friendly. This is the fourth time I've brought over our clothing to be dry cleaned and my husband and I have been satisfied of how clean and neatly pressed they come out every time. Their shop is clean and has plants outside, which add a special touch. They also have alternations that we will begin to try out on my next visit for some of our clothing pieces that need alteration. Do try them out if you are local to Morgan Hill or are generally nearby! This company just charged me $4.75 to launder (not dry clean) 1 shirt! They said it was a "minimum charge". What!!! There's no sign in their reception area to that effect. Will really think twice before I come back here again and I've been coming here since 2009. They didn't clean a shirt properly, leaving a stain on the front. When I asked them to clean it again, I was told I would have to pay again. The shirt was still in bag from them, clearly not worn. I went to Green Cleaners today as they advertised that they do custom alterations. I walked in with a very expensive zebra coat that I wanted to have altered. I have gained some weight and was hoping just to get a bit more room in the arms, even if an extensive alteration was required. The seamstress was incredibly rude and essentially seemed that she didn't want to be bothered and seemed very judgmental. I am getting older, but I am not obese and even if I was, if you have a service business you should at least be polite. I am an attorney and spend significant sums on dry cleaning every year. I was hoping I had found a great place to do my cleaning and alterations. I would not return here ever! read more

The owners are extremely professional and the cleaning quality is top notch. If there is ever an issue, they mark is precisely, review the issue and offer options (for example, my shirt was torn when I brought it in, and they offered to sew it and repaired it). There is no 'chemical smell' in items that have been cleaned which is terrific. Shirts come out very nicely pressed and they don't tend to break buttons like other dry cleaners have done. The owners are very very nice, always pleasant and very accommodating. My only complaint is that they still use a lot of plastic for the wraps and I am hoping some day, dry cleaners can consider another alternative (like bundling clothes together in a single wrapper or using re-usable and washable wrappers that are not plastic (e.g. fabric bags) They may be slightly more expensive than others (marginally) but it's worth it based on the quality of the cleaning jobs and the professionalism. read more

We've been coming here since we moved here a little over a year ago. We did try a couple other places that were way overpriced. We decided to give them a try because of their great location to our home, even though they only had a sum of 3 stars on yelp - and we're sooo glad we gave them a try!! Really nice people. Always get our dry cleaning done when promised or before , even on last minute requests! So far they've always done a terrific job. Love that they are environmentally responsible as well! I rarely need things dry cleaned however, my fiance does. I take in my fiance's work suits here and once in awhile my coats. They have done a great job everytime. The manger doenst speak very good english but is very sweet and the price for the dry cleaning isnt bad at all. read more

I have been using Green Cleaners for several years. I did try others when I first moved to Morgan Hill because of the convenience of locations. However, I was never satisfied with any other cleaner. I decided to give Green Cleaners a try & found it to be quite satisfactory. After mentioning problems with the collars on my husbands shirts, they suggested hand pressing. I brought several shirts in to be laundered only, not dry cleaned. When I went back to pick up the shirts, one had been dry cleaned. Upon checking the shirts, I discovered the shirt that had been dry cleaned had a hole in the sleeve. Not Acceptable. I was told I would have to speak with the owner after 4pm that day. When I went back to speak to the owner, she did not speak very good English, but basically told me that it was an old shirt (it wasn't a brand new shirt, but it wasn't that old either) and that she wanted me to pay for the dry cleaning....No Way. Then she said I could pay for the laundering cost. No Way. I told her she could have the shirt. Never once did she apologize or offer me any compensation. I will never go back and I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

So, I'm looking at the review from Sharon and it's almost like deja vu. I moved to Morgan Hill in 2007 and always went to French Cleaners who did a great job but were a little pricey. When Green Cleaners opened, I wanted to give them a chance because of proximity and it's on my way to work for convenience. I've been going there a year and it's been just ok. I noticed that my men's work shirts have been starting to fray along the exact same right collar on many shirts. Please keep in mind that these are custom shirts at $150 each. i rarely wear ties so the fraying is almost entirely from laundering and pressing. 2 weeks ago, I picked up my dry cleaning and one of the shirts was tagged as "uncleanable" and I did notice the small stain which was likely me spilling something on my shirt. It was something I could easily wear without anyone knowing. But then I saw a huge tear just below the pocket and they put a black patch behind as if I wasn't gong to see it?? I brought the shirt back in along with the other frayed shirts and she said that she would check into it. I had to pick up $160 of dry cleaning today and was hoping to resolve the $350 of damaged shirts at the same time. Keep in mind that I don't expect that type of cost resolution, but I was expecting something. Her English was poor at best and she kept saying "shirts are old". I showed her the huge rip and the black patch they put on it to cover it up. She only said "these are old shirts". I tried to explain things further to no avail. I gave up, paid my $160 and will never go back. They either don't get it or are playing a game with the lack of communication. Either way, it's a big fail. I highly recommend people reconsider doing business here. Customer service stinks at best ... and their dry cleaning and laundering are suspect with damaged clothing over time. They lost me as a customer today and it appears they either don't care of don't have a clue what just happened. $1000 a year customer too. read more

I visited this dry cleaning service on a weekly basis for almost 2 years. Despite the average service I persisted using them (longer than I should have) due to convenience. I have ceased using them as I was not satisfied with the service they were providing. During the time I used them I encountered the following issues. 1) Failure to adequately clean the collars of my husbands shirts, 2) damage to shirts, 3) lost shirts. The staff were not helpful in locating the lost shirts, or providing financial compensation for their replacements. read more

do not ever do business with green cleaners!!!! i have to admit i was using them as they were conveniently located, however, the quality of their cleaning was always mediocre at best. my first very bad experience with them occurred when they lost a pair of my husbands very expensive dress pants. in no way were they willing to take responsibility for this or work with me to resolve the issue. my second very bad experience with green cleaners was when i brought in my silk quilt to be dry cleaned. it looked as if they had used bleach on it....it was completely ruined!! i brought it back and the owner said they would try cleaning it again, however when i went back to pick it up, it looked exactly the same - completely ruined!! again, they do not want to take any responsibility for this, and refuse to reimburse me! they will never, ever get any business from me again....i would not recommend this place to anyone!! read more
