Update: The owner, Alex, came to my rescue again. I was so behind on work and life that I just had laundry piled up, needed sheets and blankets to be cleaned, and scrubs to be washed as well. I maybe had about 30-40lbs of clothes haha. I let him know that I was leaving to another work trip and needed them in two days (I know, I procrastinated). He did the job! Clean clothes and all. He called before I picked up letting me know that there was a stain that he might not be able to get out without risking the fabric but I told him to try it anyway. He removed the stain and the fabric was fine!! I've been a customer for so many years and I am so thankful to have such a reliable cleaners that I can go to! I was looking for a good dry cleaners for a couple winter coats. I call and checked prices, they said one price and I showed up and we agreed on around 17 for two and 24 for the long coat. Then I came in and price doubled. It was 17 for one and 30 for two. I feel bait and switch. Plus, he said he spent hours dry cleaning and the coats were not even clean, some of the stains I was able to remove with a brush of a finger. I picked up quite a large order of dry cleaning and it was pouring rain outside. The gentleman behind the counter picked up my cleaning, came around the counter, picked up a large umbrella and proceeded to escort me to my car, hang my dry cleaning in the backseat and hold the umbrella while I got in the drivers seat! So I went to this cleaners because they looked professional and wanted wash and press 8 shirts. Picked up shirts cost me about $43.00. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!! The manager stated that my shirts can only be cleaned a certain way...pressing only! I have used cleaners across from them and cost me $1.50 each shirt, now you do the math for 8 shirts. What sucks is that my shirts came out the same way whether I paid $43 or less ....no damn difference. What a rip off. They should notify the customer if it's a higher charge due to special care that any garment requires. Unfortunately my wife turned the shirts in and never checked the receipt. Lesson learned. Will not ever go here again and you shouldn't either. Cleaners next to ToGos charged $1.50 per shirt and it's worth it. read more

Not only did the stain not come out, it smelled like it hadn't been washed at all. I ended up machine washing it and the stain came right out. We have been using this cleaners for a year taking in cotton dress shirts about every other week. We chose them because they had the most reasonable prices in the area. When my husband went in this week to pick up one shirt the woman quoted him a price that was much higher than usual. When he questioned the amount she proceeded to tell him that the fabric was too fine to wash and had to be dry cleaned at the higher cost. This shirt has been to this cleaners multiple times in the past, is all cotton and has been washed routinely. When he pointed out the facts to her she still wouldn't admit her mistake or make good on the error. My husband had other shirts he was going to drop off but instead paid her for the shirt he was picking up and took his business elsewhere. I couldn't recommend this business to anyone. read more

BEWARE. Great cleaning service, but do not use them for alterations!! I gave them a sample pair for length to make two brand new pairs of pants the same as the sample. They came back a inch short due to the different style of cut. The service person said she was sorry, but offered no remedy. She then said she didn't send the sample to the alteration people. I told her I'd been a client for 5 years. She shrugged, it didn't phase her a bit. I feel shes not the owner. I guess they have too many clients to be good at customer service. I recently had a number of shirts cleaned at Classic Cleaners. After bringing them home, I discovered that one had several stains on it. I check my shirts prior to taking them to any cleaners, and the stains were not on them when I brought them in. I returned the shirt to the cleaners and they did absolutely noting saying it wasn't their fault. There was no apology, offer to re-clean or replace the shirt, nothing! Companies can make mistakes, but it is how they handle problems that truly tells you how they perform. They took the shirt to the back room saying they were going to "test" it. When they returned it, they had evidently put something on the stain as it was worse than when I originally brought it in. They reiterated that they would do nothing and were fairly rude in saying I should just take it to another cleaner. There are many other cleaners in Gilroy, don't waste your money on this one. I know I will never visit them again. read more
