Came here for a quick alteration last week on a pair of men's slacks where the pocket had ripped a bit. Jasmine greeted me warmly and took a good look at my pants and said she knew exactly how to fix them. She gave me a very reasonable quote and told me the would be ready in about 2-3 days. I was already happy with the experience and expectation. To my surprise and satisfaction she then called me a few hours THAT SAME DAY and told me she was able to complete my alteration the same day! I was blown away, and came back to give her more business today, and decided to write this review since she deserves it! Okay, now I don't really like leaving any negative reviews but I would like to share my very unpleasant visit at this shop.. I recently walked in (Luckily it wasn't busy) to finally get my NBA team logo patches stitched on to some plain snapback hats that I had brought in As I walked in, I politely recognized thee urge & eager of the taylor/assembler.. I then started telling her what I wanted & she informed me that the way I wanted it done was not going to work Eventually after a discussion we came to conclusion, I respected her work & decided to place my trust on her. She ended up bending/creasing the hat & placing the patch at her preference, Then (of course) she stated how good of a job she did & that's when I had to be honest. telling her "Sorry but I honestly don't like it" Automatically she grabbed a pair of scissors & starting ripping out the patch.. pretty much destroying thee entire hat I calmly reached over to take my hat back from her hands as she refused to let go. Setting up a strong grip & resisting, claiming that if I don't like it, I don't need it.. Her ego & self esteem was obviously hurt by my honesty, if I was her I would of left the patch on $10 really aren't worth me acting up like that, but I guess that's just what people do when their business is just as dry as thee Atacama Desert. read more

Left 3 short sleeve uniform shirts and 1 uniform blazer for tailoring. Shorten sleeves 1/2" and tailor blazer. Allowed 3 entire months for this to be done. Picked up today 3 wrinkled (but tailored) shirts. 3 months and $135 later for wrinkled work clothes. Now I have to go home tonight to iron since I need my work uniform for the next day. I will take my business somewhere else. read more

I had my bridesmaids dress altered about a year ago by Jasmine at Green cleaners. I was very happy with her service and was excited to go back to her for my best friend's wedding in which I was the maid or honor. I wish I could say I was as happy this time but that is most certainly not the case. First it was quite a bit more in price compared to my last visit. I needed a hem, to have it taken in and to raise the slit in the skirt higher. Other than the slit, it was basically the same work that needed to be done last time so I really wasn't sure why it was so much more. She charged me extra to have the slit raised higher which I understand. The wedding was on Saturday and I became too busy with preparations to go pick up the dress so I sent my boyfriend to get it as she told me it would be ready Friday. That night when I tried it on I discovered a sewing needle still in the bottom, the inner layer on the skirt was 3-4 inches longer on one side than the outer layer, and there were loose threads everywhere. My mother actually had to cut a bunch of fabric which was incredibly risky. I was incredibly lucky that my mom was able to alter it enough to salvage it, as at that point I had no time left. I went back to Jasmine today with the dress, photos of her unfinished work, and my mother so that she would show her all the work she has to do. She had nothing but excuses. She kept saying "I don't know what happened". She also tried to imply that it was my fault because I wanted the slit higher which caused the length of dress to change. When I said it was her job to fix the hem if raising the slit changed the length, all she could say was "I wasn't thinking". It was her job, I paid her money, I trusted her, and she failed me. She just couldn't truly own up to the fact that she messed up and still tried to put part of the blame on me for wanting something I was paying her for that she insisted she could do. If she couldn't do that work properly she should have let me know. She absolutely should not have charged me what she did when the work was so sub-par. I asked for a partial refund. She told me she could only give me $40 cash. I asked for the refund but not just for the monetary value. As friendly as Jasmine is, I just will never trust her again. I completely understand that everyone has bad days but this was just too inappropriate for how important this occasion was. Just please keep in mind what it is that you are taking to Green cleaners, especially if it is for something meaningful. read more

Probably the worst drycleaning experience I ever had. I took my clothes on Mon (Presidents Day) during business hours and nobody was there. I get home and I get a call from Jasmine indicating she gave herself 45 min extra bc it was Presidents Day...no problem. I went back dropped off my clothes and was told to come back Wed. I went back today and they still weren't ready, now Im furious. She says, please come back after the gym. So I come back an hour later the 3rd time to pick up my clothes and then she advises me she would give me 10% off next time, when her website clearly states 10% off new customers. I don't give a shit about the money, my time is more valuable. Oh btw, she charges almost $6 for pants. When other places charge $4. Do your research. read more

Came here after searching for a good dry cleaners in my area. The whole "green" thing attracted me... why not help the earth, right? Although I don't really know how environmentally friendly they are and I neglected to ask what makes them "green". Also I came to get pants hemmed and didn't have anything dry cleaned but will update my review when I do. Right now they're advertising pants hemming is only $8, which I thought is a good deal. The owner is very nice and personable... she was telling me stories of where she was from and what not :) She told me that they've been open for about 5 months now, although she has 17 yrs of experience. Where do I start? I have a wedding coming up, which I am a bridesmaid too. I needed to alter my dress and add a buster. Jasmine was extremely helpful in advising me on which spots needed alterations. I completely trusted every word she said to me and I'm so happy I did. I was nervous because the material was super thin and one mistake could ruin the dress. She effortlessly put me at ease and did an amazing job! My mom also had a beige pillow she used for her rocking chair that my two dogs tore up in a matter of seconds. I was extremely nervous and took the pillow to Jasmine. I explained to her what had happened and told her how my mom could NOT find out my dogs tore the pillow. She told me to come back in 2 days. I agreed and left. 2 days came and I walk into Green cleaners and I've never felt so relieved. Jasmine not only restored the pillow, but she got the beige color spot on! Safe to say my mother never found out. On top of the amazing work she does, Jasmine has to be one of the nicest people I've ever met. Jasmine has made me into a regular customer. She even offered a plan with my bridesmaid dress so that I can re-wear it as a completely different outfit and I couldn't be more excited to see her amazing work done once again. I took 2 dresses here and she charged me the same amount I paid for taking just one dress to the last place I went. I am HUGE on customer service and this place is top notch! I think all the 5 starts are fake. They missed half of the stain spots on my clothes. Some are on my sleeves and some are on the back. After I point them out. She told me that they only wet washed. So now they have to take another day to dry clean it. I could have wet washed it myself. And I thought they were going to dry clean at the first place. Then she called me today and said they couldn't guarantee that my clothes wouldn't be damaged. I either take it back or have them clean it with the possibility of ruining my clothes. Why? Why does dry clean could damage it? I needed my clothes to be cleaned. How simple is that? Anyways, now I'm leaving for the airport and have to wait for them to give me my clothes back. It's almost 6pm and I have to leave very soon but they told me they close at 7 so I have to wait till 7. Such a shitty costumer service. Not happy with them at all!!!I I just got my Jacket, and the main stain on my sleeve is still there. read more

You know, I really like Jasmine, and she is extremely service-oriented, personally drops off clothes etc. BUT the clothes smell of stale dry cleaning fluid, and I have to air them out when they come in. I've been going to Green Cleaners for a few years now, and won't go anywhere else. The cloths come back perfect and smelling fresh instead of like chemicals. In addition, Jasmine (the owner) is amazing! She'll always ask how soon you need something, and do her best to make it work. I brought a dress in and needed it in a few days before the weekend. I told her I knew it was last minute and that I understood if she couldn't get it done in time. She said she couldn't promise anything, but would call me Friday to let me know. 1st time customer here, visiting solely based on yelp reviews. And boy did they deliver! The service here is beyond exceptional, and worth the commute from Silverlake. Worth noting as well, their cleaning services are exceptional. I'd somehow left a 4pack of butter in the trunk of my car, with clothes I was taking to be dry cleaned... I blame the dog... But my favorite dress shirt was about 60% saturated.. 2 days later, it looks better than the day I bought it. Needless to say I highly recommend this establishment on customer service alone. While I myself do not have any clothes that need a cleaners, I often am the one to take my mother's clothing. The owner, Jasmine, has always been nothing less than extremely friendly with me. It feels like I have known her for my entire life by the way she seems genuinely happy to see me each time. Besides the amazing service, the clothes have been perfect each time within a short amount of time for a decent price. Jasmine is amazing and kind. She remembers everyone and gets everything perfectly clean and pressed.

Disappointed every time! I visited this dry cleaner on at least 5 different occasions... Once for an alteration, and the other times for cleaning. I was disappointed on every occasion. The alteration turned out just fine, except for the fact that the pants were ironed, even though the care instructions say not to iron. As a result, the pants had marks on them from the iron. The lady said that if I wanted to leave the pants, she would be able to fix them. Although I had to make a second trip, she was able to fix them, which is why I did end up going back. On the rest of the occasions, my pants were still dirty with stains and spots every time. When I pointed it out to her, she said that it was my job to point this out so that she could double check them, which I did do on future visits. At least three of the times I brought pants, I had to make two trips because the pants were ironed when they shouldn't have been. When I brought up these concerns with the lady, she basically said it wasn't her fault since she doesn't actually do the dry cleaning at her location, but that it would be better next time. She never offered a discount or a refund of any sort. The most interesting part about my last visit, when I was once again pointing out how the pants shouldn't have been ironed, is that she said (verbatim): "You are very picky. That's good. Your life must be perfect." I don't think expecting your clothes to be clean and in good condition when you pick them up from the dry cleaner is being picky. As someone who has been in the service industry for over 10 years, I truly understand the challenges of dealing with difficult clientele, however, despite what her personal opinion of me may or may not have been, she acted extremely unprofessionally. Other than that, the other reviews are right... She is very nice. Stop in if you want someone to chat with, but not if you expect your garments to be in good condition when you get them back from her. read more

I don't write many reviews, but this is one business that consistently goes above and beyond! In my life I have had experiences with MANY dry cleaners in the past. Green Cleaners and more importantly, Jasmine, have far exceeded all of my past dry cleaning experiences during the past 3 years! I have my shirts cleaned and pressed every week. In the past, I became accustomed to shrinkage and collar fading from other cleaners. Jasmine has made sure my shirts look almost as good as the day they were purchased... in some cases over 3 years! If she notices something is not quite right, she takes care of it. This kind of service requires passion and Jasmine brings more passion to her work than anyone I have ever experienced in this business! More recently I lost some weight and Jasmine altered my suits. I've had suits altered in the past and have accepted what I now know to be less than satisfactory results. Jasmine has my suits looking and feeling right! Again, this is a very special person and business. It has been well worth it to drive a couple extra miles to have this kind of high quality service. If you are looking for a new dry cleaner... I am always greeted with a friendly smile and hello from Jasmine the owner. She knows how I like my clothes and always makes sure they are perfect before returning them to me. I own a restaurant and I get a lot of grease on my clothes. She always makes sure the stains are gone before I get them back. Very happy with the service here. I tried them out for the first time as I was looking for a dry cleaner closer to where I live. I brought in a couple articles of clothing that needed to be repaired and a few things that needed to be dry cleaned and laundered. I was looking for a good cleaners in the area, I was driving and I found this place. The moment I walked in, Jasmine stopped and dropped whatever she was doing, she walked all the way to the front of the store, and greeted warmly and welcomed me in. I felt so special. I just arrived from Paris so I had a lot of stuff to be cleaned. After I walked out of the store I called my mom and told her about my amazing experience. When I went to pick up my clothes a few days later, my moms name showed up on the screen. I didn't even know she had already visited the next day.
