There's tiny pieces of guava in the drink, which I wasn't a fan of due to the hard seeds and the flavor wasn't my cup of tea, but the banana was a hit. My photo doesn't do it justice! While at the Apple Store in the mall my friend wanted an Orange Julius so walked over to find they were no longer there but Green Crush was. We were offered samples and each chose the watermelon, AMAZING! We tried a few more but both decided the watermelon was the best - it was 105 outside and the watermelon was refreshing and not too sweet. We decided to get her husband something too....he was being nice and went and got the car cooled off and picked us up at a closer door. We ended up getting him watermelon too. Stumbled upon this place on a recent trip to the mall. I was thinking of being bad and getting an ice cream at Baskin Robbin, but this was there in the former Baskin Robbin location. I love a good aqua Fresca and this place had many flavors to choose from. Friendly staff soliciting samples so I tried the cucumber-lime and the cantaloupe. I was pleasantly surprised how busy it was considering it to be in a mall. The line for waiting for your drinks and ordering was confusing since the space is so small but the drinks definitely made up for it all. My friend and I ordered the Mango Picante and the Guava, Strawberry, and Banana Smoothie (#3?). You can really taste the fresh ingredients they use in their drinks! My favorite has to be the mango picante I loved how there was so much mango bits inside then on the rim of the cup there is tajin for a little kick! There are also fresh mangos in a cute design speared through the straw. The service was great as well considering how busy they were. Came here around 8pm and the mall closes around 9pm I believe. No big crowds to contend with, but not fully dead either. I've been wanting to try this place since they opened and finally got around to it. There was no one in line or waiting so I walked up and looked at the menu. There were 4 employees clustered and talking at the counter in front of me near the register/ menu. No one said anything to me. Didn't greet me, ask me if I'd been there before, nothing. I kinda already knew what I already wanted, but maybe a friendly greeting and menu recommendations? There was another employee on the other end behind the juices talking to a girl in front. When I walked down there to look at the containers of juices the girl walked away and he offered me a sample. I said sure and explained that I had never been there before. He gave me a sample of a cucumber mint drink after asking if I liked mint, cucumber and lime. It was good and quite refreshing, but after he gave me the sample he started shouting free samples to try and attract other people. :/ So I just asked if I had to order at the register and he said yes. I walked back over to the register and they didn't react until I actually stood in front and tried to order. After I ordered my drink (Spicy Pineapple Picante Crush $6) it was ready almost immediately which was nice. It's quite large (32oz) and they give you a good amount of mango dipped in chamoy spiraled around a straw. The actual juice was very good and refreshing with bits of pineapple in it. The mango on the other hand was disappointing. I have seen someone drink one of these Picante Crushes near me before and I had noticed her mango looked hard and unripe. Harder mango will obviously work better in presentation because it can hold itself up, but dry, unripened, hard mango just doesn't taste that good. After a while I just took the mango off the straw and stuck it into the drink and I think that helped soften/ rehydrate it a bit. I personally found the chamoy a bit overwhelming on the mango, maybe because the mango wasn't sweet so it was just salty. I know people love this place and I honestly did love the actual beverage part of my drink. Maybe my lousy customer service can be chalked up to it being the end of the night. I will probably try this place again sometime in the future, just hope the service is better. TLDR: Actual Picante Crush drink is good, but not the accompanying mango fruit. My FAVORITE juice company on the west side. Y'all if you ever run into one of these stalls, do yourself a favor and grab a cup of the most delicious elixir. You can sample all of the avaible flavors so you never feel pressured into buying something that you're not going to consume. Each location I visited (Vegas and some parts of Cali) has amazingly friendly and polite employees and the quality of the juice is always consistent. The lady that made my drink wasn't paying attention to how much of everything she was adding to my drink. She stood there talking and joking with two other Employees. I ordered the watermelon picante drink and she add way to much chili to it. The taste was over powering and ended up giving me a stomach ache. Called to ask the manager to train her on properly making the drinks and she decided to laugh and ask what did I want for free. This place is absolutely amazing! you can't get any fresher, with flavors bursting in every sip. the staff could not be any more polite and helpful. The store front was eye-popping and really and really caught your eye as we walked by. I have tried several flavors, with each one becoming my "new" favorite flavor. We have fallen in love with the flavor and whole overall presentation, that we keep driving all the way down here just to get another and another ...... The only draw back that I have to mention is the organization when I tried to order several of these for a big event we are having. I don't think they were prepared for such a big order and they have never returned any of my calling, or emails. I seriously have tried now, almost on a daily basis trying to get this order placed. I guess I am going to have to find their competition and order elsewhere. if you are looking just to stop in for a single refreshing drink it is worth it. I've been to this place numerous times in both Ontario Mills near Rancho Cucamonga, CA and the one here in Fashion Fair. Let me start off by saying that I think opening up a business based on what I perceive to be Hispanic drinks is an excellent idea. I love the variety of drinks that are offered! A few drinks they have include horchata, jamaica, mojitos, cucumber lemonade, strawberry milk, banana, and a few others. If authenticity is a concern , let me just tell you that you do not have to worry about that one bit. I've enjoyed every drink that I have ordered as well as the other menu options such as the chopped fruit with chamoy. My personal favorite is the picante crush beverage! With regards to price point, I would say that the prices are fair. A large beverage costs $4.00 while the picante crush (a special order beverage) is $6.00. Definitely give this place a try.
