Cousin had a prime rib that he loved and his wife had chicken Marsala that she loved as well. Too bad I live 4 hrs away or I'd go there right now. I'm drooling thinking about that meal. Since they were short staffed it did take awhile for the food to get to us. But it was well worth the wait. The bread is baked fresh on each order. We had Eggplant Parmesan with a side of Spaghetti, Meat Lasagna, and Spaghetti with the works. My wife likes her pasta cooked a little longer than most and we forgot to say anything beforehand. The server offered dessert, cheesecake or peanut butter pie. The owner of this restaurant, btw, owns a bakery. We opted for one of each. My husband got the cheesecake and there was a dried up chunk of something that fell off another dessert!? Nope...his cheesecake was dried out...literally to the point that I could lift it up by the sides and set it back down without my fingers having anything on them--still dry. So I tried my peanut butter pie. Also so dry that I could lift it by the cut sides and thump it on the plate and it didn't even fall apart!!! Shame. On. Them!! The server explained that they were probably in the fridge for "a day or two"...I think possibly more?? They were taken right off the bill, but when I asked to speak to a manager, I was told they don't have one. Please note...for the most part this is a local restaurant we like and frequent.
