Pat is very talented. Did a great job installing a custom swing arm and rear brake caliper. He also cut some custom spacers for my rear shocks which made a huge difference over the ones provided by the manufacturer. Safety is really important to Pat and he will make sure your bike is safe to ride. Had a little hiccup when I got the bike home but Pat immediately took ownership and resolved the issue and while he had the bike he even drained the primary and adjusted the clutch at no extra charge. I'm always looking forward to these things. I've even been by the shop to see what they could do with my ride and they were honest with the pricing and everything. Green Devil fixed what Southside H-D couldn't. They diagnosed and fixed my throttle body problem after the dealer said there was nothing wrong. I took my XR1200 to the dealer because it was idling at 2000 rpm at start up and would stay there for 10-15 minutes. The dealer told me this is normal. No it isn't. My bike was also making a strange noise when I hit the throttle. The dealer said it's bad gas. No it isn't. Green Devil took the time to figure out that the butterfly in the the throttle body was broken and was causing the high idle and strange noise. The XR runs like a scalded dog once again. The customer service I received from every single member of the staff made me happy to give them my money, even though they didn't take very much of it from me! It feels like dealing with friends. No cold cool guy attitudes here. You can tell that all the members of this staff (seems more like family) really have a passion for bikes and all that comes with it. They support rider as an individual, and us as a community. They were willing to Dyno tune my FrankenBike with mix matched parts and an outdated aftermarket ECU. They went the extra mile in ways they didn't have to just to help me get a couple extra numbers on the Dyno. If you're a woman, don't go here. If you're a widow, don't go here. I had the worst experience with the employees and owner, Pat. I was told by the employee that picked up my motorcycle that it would be ready for pick up the following Monday, so I scheduled the trailer and my life around picking up the bike. After repeated calls and voicemails on Friday, (I called back in the afternoon, and he answered to tell me he was on the phone with an ambulance and then hung up on me) and then again on Monday, the owner finally called me back at 3:30pm on Monday, after I'd already picked up the trailer and on my way to his shop to tell me the bike wasn't ready. Not that big of a deal, because I'll have someone work on it on the other end, but he proceeded to yell at me about how I was lying about his employee telling me it would be ready on Monday. Why in the heck would I lie about that? He continued to blame me telling me it was MY communication error. (Someone was there on Monday when a family member of mine called to pay for their services and they didn't not tell them it wasn't going to be ready. I also called immediately after their phone call and no one answered the phone, so I left another voicemail on the business phone.) When I told him that there were other employees there when the bike got picked up to verify he said Monday, Pat said, "well, they don't speak English." He then proceeded to belittle me, assuring me he doesn't need my business ("I've got plenty of business, I don't need yours.") and his shop isn't in the business of doing "work like that." Even though they were open until 6pm, I had to wait there until 6:20pm for his employees to show up to give me the bike back. This was the same employee that told me the bike would be ready on Monday. When I simply asked him, "You said it would be ready today." His response was, "I don't want to fight." He then rolled the bike out out of the shop and put it at the end of the trailer. He turned to the people in the shop and said, "Nope, I'm leaving it right here. She can figure it out." They hadn't even done a single thing to the bike the entire time they had it (simple oil change and tires was all it needed). Thank God a friend came to help me load my late husband's motorcycle so I didn't drop it. This all could have been avoided if someone would have called me to tell me it wasn't going to be ready. I could have adjusted my schedule OR they could have just not taken the job from the beginning. My advice, unless you're dropping a dime, he doesn't want your business. And if he's wrong, he will verbally abuse you to make himself feel good. It's a small world, until we meet again. read more

What can I say, this place ROCKS! Pat is one of the good ones, Green Devil Garage is the best shop that I have ever worked with. Not only did they fix up my bike on time but the detail and costumer service that went into explaining the problems that my bike was having was without a doubt above and beyond. Pat throughly explained the issues he fixed onsite and a few weeks later he walked me through re-jetting my carb over the phone.
