No other customers were in the store at no point did either acknowledge our existence let alone say " we'll be with you". Every single employee in this shop goes above and beyond being helpful and informative. We came to this shop after being snubbed by the C word shop years ago and have never looked back. We love the fact that we can bring our son's bike back in for an up-grade/ trade-in, as well as my husband's, and they are more than willing to assist. I am "gearing -up" to bring my Specialized oldie-but-goodie in for a complete make-over, because I just can't part with the old gal. Every positive visit to Trek has been learning about inventory and exploring bikes and merchandise at our leisure with no sales pressure, whereas the "neighboring store," told my four year old to "get off of that bike," and those jerks lost 3 sales unbeknownst to them. This shop is cool. They specialize in, you guessed it, Trek motorized and assisted bikes. They also have some that don't have a motor but most of them seemed to be the cruiser variety and not for the supremely serious cyclist. Average price was about $200-550 for those. There were 3-5 $5500-10,000 bikes that looked like Lance Armstrong level but that's above me. It's minimalistic in here - the cycles steal the show. Mostly black and red but I saw a few mint metallic and purple colored ones. They also had some adorable mini ones for kids in the back. They had a nice setup in the back where you can get fitted for your bike and sit on one. Accessories were for sale as well as a minimal amount of snacks and food for while you're cycling. A great store with quality bikes. I was looking at the Electra townie models and they had quite a few in stock. Selection wasn't bad although I believe Conte's had more in showroom. However sales person was helpful and mentioned they were getting an order in very soon. The pricing was in line with other stores in area. They have some good policies and will refund or exchange items within 30 day (bikes) and over loaner bikes for repairs taking over 24 hours. read more

Two more really great examples of service! They rebuilt my Emonda with carbon fiber handlebars and aero extensions as well as Boyd Prologue 60-deep wheels. Huge improvement! I walked in the store knowing only the style of bike I wanted. My height and inseam were measured electronically and I was shown bikes in the price range I asked for. I was shown a few ones that fit my requirements and comfort. The employee even walked my new bike to my car and loaded it in the back of my vehicle. Easiest and most comfortable experience. This place is the best bike shop with the best service I have ever seen without a doubt. My wife and I bought a couple beach cruisers here last year, and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. Every single time we have come in for some maintenance, a piece of gear, or just to browse, they are incredible accommodating. I have never walked in this store and felt unwelcome, but instead I have felt like part of the family. The employees stand behind their products 100% and they wont try to up-sell you on something that you don't need. I went in today to look at getting a new saddle. I was there no more than 5 minutes when Rick asked if I needed any help. I said yes and explained my dilemma. Rick had me bring in my bike, took my measurements, hooked my bike up to his machine and took more measurements to make sure my seat was at the correct height. Also recommended a seat and let me know their was a 30 day return if the seat was not working properly. Didn't even try to sell me one of the more expensive seats. Rick just listened to what I needed and took care of the rest. I will definitely be going back and telling others. Thanks. read more

Stopped in and talked to Sarah, she got me measured, I tried out some bikes. Was a great experience. Came back cause I wanted to check the bike I was interested in a second time before committing and Sue helped me out. Apparently they have a different crew every day. Sue was amazing, since they didn't have the correct size bike built yet, she had them build one and I was to come back the next day. That 3rd visit is when everything went downhill. Don't ever deal with Mike, he's not just clueless, but condescending as well. I was irritated AF by the time I left. They had built a bike for me to try, but the brakes weren't bled completely. Whatever. I ask about holding the bike. They will only hold for 24 hrs without a down-payment; sounds fair. Otherwise they want half up front; also fair. Not planning on being back for a couple days, figure I'll take the chance on not having them hold it. Come back a few days later to buy it, not only have the brakes still not been bled, the handlebars aren't even tightened and are no longer aligned. So from what I can gather, this place has great bikes, a couple decent employees and a bunch of people who need to find employment elsewhere. read more
