This is a lovely winery. The property itself was lovely and very well maintained. It is connected with Green Dirt Farm Creamery, and there is also a sandwich shop inside. They sell Artisan cheeses and tons of other goodies! I personally didn't fall in love with their wine because I prefer sweet wines and theirs are definitely on the dry side, but my husband and his Father LOVED the wine as they enjoy dry wine! I will say for a dry variety, I was able to drink it and not feel like I had "fur" on my tongue!! lol So that says something! We will stop back on our next trip to Missouri!

Vox Vineyards itself is 10 miles south of this address and can be visited by appointment only, but its tasting room is located inside of Green Dirt Farm Creamery. The speciality here is dry wine, and the grapes used in the wines are all grown at the vineyard. For $6, you get four tastings, and each tasting is 1 oz. I am not a wine connoisseur, but believe me that TerraVox wines are pretty enjoyable. I did one set of tastings and liked the wines so much that I did a second round. The Heritage Red is my favorite, and in second place is the Cloeta. Both were so smooth. The former has a unique hint of candied cherries, and the latter is just so pleasantly fragrant. If you prefer something bold and with more tannin, try the Norton, which is the flagship wine. If you like a very earthy taste, try the Albania. If you want food to pair with your wine, order from Green Dirt Farm Creamery. There is a list of suggested wine and cheese pairings if you need help deciding. Both businesses conveniently share the same building with no wall separating them. Green Dirt Farm Creamery is on the left side while Vox Vineyards is on the right side. However, the seating area is all shared, and you can be inside or out on the patio. If you are looking for dry humor, you are probably at the wrong place. If you are looking for dry wine, you are certainly at the right place! There is a solid variety of wines so there is pretty much something for everyone to enjoy here.

Really, it's $15 for each one. The taste was average. I also did not like how one of the waiters came up to us and said something along the lines of "by the way we are closing in 20 minutes." However, it was a fun social thing to do and some of the wines we got were really good.

The cozy, warm ambiance of the place makes it feel like the ideal place to unwind. I started with a wine flight that included a white, Moscato, and a sweet red. While they were a bit on the dry side for my super-sweet wine preferences, they were still enjoyable. The mulled cider, however, was the real star--absolutely delicious! We also ordered some snacks to share: a pepperoni flatbread and a charcuterie board. They arrived fresh and fast, and the server took the time to explain each item on the board, making the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was top-notch and super tasty. What really stood out was the friendly, knowledgeable staff, who made sure we had everything we needed. There's also a big patio that's perfect for summer months, offering a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors with a glass of your favorite drink. Plates and water were readily available for self-service, which was a nice touch. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area--such a great spot with the perfect combination of warmth, good food, and great drinks!
