We had 19 yards of fill dirt delivered in front of our house. The delivery driver missed his target…read moreand ended up dumping the dirt so it was covering almost the entire lane of traffic. I had a pulled muscle and couldn't really lift heavy loads so I got online and tried to find someone who was available to help move the dirt asap. My cousin and friend came for 6 hours and ended up moving about 3 - 4 yards which still left a lot of dirt. Someone suggested I contact this guy Armando. He was available and said he'd be over in 40 minutes with wheel barrow and shovels. He showed up with one of his guys and they kicked it into high gear. Within 4 hours they had moved the remaining 15 yards of dirt after laying down weed material. Armando was fast getting here. He was fast doing the work. He cleaned up afterwards and was out of there. On his way out he noticed my sprinkler head was broken. He offered to come back the next day and fix it as a courtesy. We've found our new landscape / yard maintenance guy! One of the best we've worked with.

We had decided that someone from his team would come out the following weekend. Well as luck would have it the weather forecast was not in our favor. Will was able to send someone out early to get the stump ground out before the rain came. The results are fantastic, we wanted to keep the shavings to mix into the top soil. I couldn't even clearly find the location where the stump had been even the big roots were all gone!

Complete disregard for our vegetation. In the neighbors yard they destroyed their lemon tree and butchered their camillia tree. They just didn't care. They also left a mess on the sidewalk in front of the neighbors house. There is no fix for their blatant disregard for our property because we did not hire them. Can't get our money back.They also can't replace vegetation that was planted 20-30 years ago. It looked like they were running out of time so they rushed to finish up? Really disappointing to see a business with such low standards. They did send out a rep to talk to us but there is nothing that can fix this. She said they were going to "write up" the person who did this. Write them up? He should be retrained, demoted or fired. Disappointing. :( I would give them zero stars if I could.

The owners of north bay were on the property the whole time working with their crew. Really, I can't say enough nice things. The quality of work was exceptional- we had multiple 60year old fir trees done. They were able to tell us which ones were healthy and which ones were not, and some had to come down regardless as they were a threat to our home if they fell. The trees were about 110' tall and close to the house, but it wasn't a problem for them at all. They even took the stumps down beautifully. They do small stuff too, they trimmed bushes that we had failed to maintain because of the location on a steep hillside and our lack of knowledge. Their climbers and other workers were professional, they worked safely and without any more noise or disturbance than necessary and all of them behaved like people we want to have working at our home. The price was more than reasonable, and they went above and beyond - even taking out a dead branch on a neighboring tree (that we had talked about and they knew we planned to do in the future) Francisco and Daniela went above and beyond.
