    Ceremony spot by fountain

If you want the smoothest wedding experience, I highly recommend having your wedding here. This place is magical, the staff is unreal and I truly would not have my wedding anywhere else. Our coordinator,Sage, is the BEST! I could not have asked for a better coordinator! She was so attentive, kind, sweet, flexible and so easy to work with! I never had to worry about anything. Even up until the day of our wedding, I had last minute changes and she just went with them and made them perfect! It was so bittersweet to end working with her but she truly made the entire process so painless. She is so professional and so amazing at what she does. Our venue is so clean, cozy and magical. We chose to do minimal decor and the venue still looked incredible all on its own. Even if you don't bring much of your own decor, Green Gables has you covered. The lights, the trees. All perfect!

The Bridal Salon makes for the most perfect getting ready and picture location!

The most beautiful wedding venue ever! Everything is thoughtfully designed and the staff are friendly, professional and organized. Amy was our coordinator and she deserves 10 stars! She took care of every detail day of, big and small, ensuring everything went off without a hitch. We didn't have to worry about anything except enjoying our day with our loved ones. If you're looking for a stress-free wedding with a GORGEOUS backdrop, this is your place.

Oh M Gee! To die for. This place was absolutely gorgeous. Visited this beautiful wedding venue this past weekend for my cousins wedding. The ceremony was just beautiful. Lush greenery! It was like we were set in the garden of Eden. Then the outdoor reception was under a canopy with beautifully arranged table settings and of course a dance floor! Words can not express who beautiful this place was. Maybe I should get married here. First things first, I might need to be in a relationship lol.

We just had the wonderful experience of conducting our daughter's wedding at this whimsical, historical venue. The historical school house, the grounds, the reception area all fit in perfectly with the couple's laid back, loves nature vibe. But, what made Green Gables stand out and shine for us was the impeccable customer service. The wedding coordinator, Karamia & her crew were on point from the rehearsal day all the way through the end of the reception. She and Cindy were so kind and patient with us and seemed to truly enjoy their role in making this a perfect day for the newlyweds. And the vendor referrals were terrific. The florals were gorgeous, the photographers were amazing, and the makeup artist was truly an artist- made us more beautiful and made sure we all stayed beautiful all evening long. I highly recommend this venue and the wonderful staff!‍

Honestly, I could not have pictured a better place to have my wedding then here at Green Gables. It was literally my dream wedding brought to life. From having our wedding ceremony under the lighted trees to the wedding reception inside the tent. It was everything I have ever wanted in one location. Working with Jeselle was simply amazing. She was so sweet, funny, professional, and we made sure that everything I wanted was played out. She made the whole planning and even the day of run so smoothly. She communicated so well with all my vendors to make sure it was less stressful for me. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding coordinator. Nothing in my wedding went wrong and thanks to her, she made sure all my guest, bridal party, husband and I was ok and having a good time. The food was delicious and I kept getting compliments about how beautiful the wedding venue was. Every area was the perfect photo op for our guest. The highlight of our wedding was the bridal and groom suite which was perfectly decorated and thought out. After viewing so many other venues and also attending other weddings, I knew Green Gables was the perfect fit for what we wanted. Communication is a big deal for me and it was given from everyone apart of Trademark Venues. They were very transparent about every detail, from what we ordered, to the billing information, to the wedding rehearsal, and even the big day. Thank you so much Trademark and Jeselle for everything you have done for us. I highly recommend planning your wedding here at Green Gables and definitely choose Jeselle to be your wedding coordinator, you wont be disappointed.

My cousin's daughter had her wedding here earlier this month and it was so beautiful. You don't even need to add extra decor because the venue is already stunning. There is a gazebo, bridal suite, swing, and pretty archway that are perfect for picture taking. Before the reception started, some of the guests played lawn games in the garden. For dinner, we had the cranberry walnut salad, chicken piccata, santa maria tri-tip, Yukon mashed potatoes, and grilled truffle asparagus. Everything was served family style, so we just helped ourselves once the food arrived. Bread and butter was also available, and was really soft and delicious. Since we came a bit late, we were served apple cider instead of champagne for the toast, but I prefer cider anyhow. Overall, the food was pretty good. I enjoyed the tri-tip and mashed potatoes a lot. The chicken and asparagus were just alright to me. The bartenders and servers seemed nice as well even though I didn't interact with them much- they basically just did their thing.

I'm leaving a 5 star review because my sister just had her wedding at Green Gables and our experience was fantastic! One of my biggest fears was not having good food but they had a farm to table menu that is amazing! I work in the restaurant industry and wasnt sure that wedding food would be up to par but it was!!! From start to finish, our wedding coordinator helped make my sisters vision come to life. Of course I'm writing this review because she is off to her honeymoon and she said she didnt want to forget to leave five stars. I was really impressed by the level of professionalism by the staff. Ramon was our event manager and he was so accomidating. He was professional and knows how to help with everything. He and my dad were best friends by the end of the night. Haha!! I think what my family loved the most was that we could bring our own alcohol. For 375 people bringing your own alcohol is a huge money saver. Just overall, I love this venue and now I want to get married at a Trademark Venue!

Congrats to the bride and groom!

I got the honor to witness my long time friend, whom I met in the dorms (same hall) tie the knot with her hubby at a gorgeous venue. It was an outdoor wedding with a bit of a rustic feel. We got to explore the venue during the night including the bridal parlor and the gentlemen's speakeasy. The speakeasy was equipped with a bar, piano (non-playable), and awesome lights paired with brass decor while the bridal suite is a multi-story with high ceilings, full length mirrors, and vintage decor. Located outside the bridal suite is wooden swing with lights hanging from a large tree - a perfect place for a photo! The food at the venue was enjoyable. The appetizers we got to try were empanadas, stuffed mushrooms, bruschetta, cranberry walnut salad (such a delicious salad!). For dinner there were two options tri-tip with mashed potatoes and/or chicken with green beans. I enjoyed tri-tip with mashed potatoes more, as the chicken was on the dry side. Overall enjoyed all the items! The servers were great and attentive, especially Phil who was always there for us! Thank you :D

I enjoyed this space so much as a bridesmaid for my friends' wedding. The space is a private fairytale oasis in an unsuspecting area of San Marcos. From the exterior, you wouldn't imagine this place to look that beautiful but upon entering, you feel like you are far away in a magical garden not nearby the existing freeway. Some key things I loved about this venue were: -during rehearsal, they had welcome signs to welcome the bride and groom to just the rehearsal -the ceremony site is right between the groom's and bride's get-ready room -the bridal get-ready room is a gorgeous and vintage former-schoolhouse perfect for photographs and romantic feels -the bridal get-ready room has it's own little bar and a string to pull for the school bell -there's a salon attached to the bridal get-ready room available to rent for an additional $500 -the groomsmen get-ready space is a moody, steampunk-themed speakeasy equipped with a bar, piano, picture-worthy decor and privacy -the venue supplies a lot of decorative pieces that one may want to use allowing for you to come to your wedding ready-to-go and freeing you up from having to bring a bunch of extra things. This includes the cute dresser/sign-in table, welcome sign, vintage rugs, ;lounge chairs and much more -during the bridal-get ready session, they brought the bride and bridesmaids cocktail hour food so we could enjoy in advance since the bridal party would be busy during cocktail hour because of photos. The items were tomato bisque shooters with a slice of grilled cheese sandwich, stuffed mushroom, and fried ravioli. All were delicious -there'a a little farm area with a resident goat named George -outside the bridal suite is a picturesque shaded tree/grass area with lights hanging from the tree and a swing decorated with eucalyptus leaves. This is the perfect place for a photo -the ceremony location has two options for how to position the ceremony. You could face the school house and have the little vine tunnel be the focal point or you could face the back tree gazebo area. Both were gorgeous -the front seating for the ceremony were church-benches -coordinators were organized, efficient and reliable. They made sure to keep things straight forward, short and sweet, and they stayed cool, calm and collected. This is definitely an important quality. The bride definitely appreciated their help. -though there is astroturf on the ground rather than real grass, this kept the space clean and organized and easy to walk on, especially for those wearing heels. I liked that the astroturf was balanced by a ton of beautiful and real plants all around -there's an old truck that's super cute outside of the bridal get-ready schoolhouse suite. It is perfect for photos -there's a vendor parking lot that is higher up and closer to the site -plenty of free parking -no other parties or events occur during your wedding slot so the space is private -food was great. I tried both the beef and the fish and thought they were nicely cooked. The potatoes were nice and chunky -various dining tables that were circular or rectangle. It had the rustic farmhouse feel. The chairs were tastefully decorated with white bows. -my friend chose this venue because of its affordable price compared to other venues around the area and venues she originally wanted to go with in northern California

The dance floor was perfectly sized for our first dance and for the dancing after dinner.

There are two parking lots that we saw, one closer to the bottom which was gravel but would require a walk up two flights of stairs, or there's a lot closer to the tasting room (paved) but is more limited. We were able to snag a spot up at the top luckily. They have a two sample limit & then you can buy drinks by the bottle or glass. The day we went they were having a 25% off bottle sale. There was only one employee we saw during the entirety of our visit but he was super friendly. We ordered a bottle, the charcuterie platter and a pizza. The charcuterie board is refrigerated and they provide a bag of crackers as well. We went with the veggie pizza & it took maybe 20 minutes to come out and was absolutely delicious. The grounds themselves are absolutely gorgeous. There are 3 covered areas to sit at up top with plenty of seating. Down the first flight of stairs has a fish pond and some beautiful areas to walk around. I'm not sure if that area was where they do weddings as there was also a spot across the way with a dais, but we didn't make it over there. The wine was delicious! We tried two of the whites and the sweet rosé. I'm not normally a rosé fan, but it was my favorite wine I had there. Overall we had a really relaxing time with beautiful views. I highly recommend checking out Sunshine Mountain Vineyard.

It was the perfect way to sample their wines while enjoying the scenery. We also ordered two pizzas: the Sunshine Cheese Delight and the Sunshine Meat Lover. Both were good and hit the spot. We added a large bag of Stellar Pretzel to share, and for dessert (because I absolutely have a sweet tooth), we tried the Sunshine Double Chocolate Cake and Tiramisu. I prefer sweeter wines and ordered the Rosa and Riesling , both were great and exactly what I was hoping for. A couple things to note: I had read in other reviews that there were servers, but when we visited, we ordered inside, were given a buzzer, and picked up our food ourselves. It was also pretty cold outside, and it took some time for the staff to turn on the warmers. We came on a Sunday and learned that live music starts at 3 PM. My husband and I definitely plan to come back for a date when there's live music playing. We were able to park near the top by the tasting room, which was convenient. There's also seating below near a beautiful waterfall and koi pond , it's a bit of a walk down (and back up). Overall, such a scenic spot with good food, sweet wine options, and a relaxing atmosphere. We'll be back!

They told me over and over that they offer shuttle service to and from golfing and their restaurant which is less thank half a mile away. Walking distance. When I called for them to pick me up, the girl at the restaurant never got a hold of someone so I waited. When I went back she's like no one answered and I said well were you ever going to tell me? She calls again 3x no answer. I call with my phone some guy answers. Said that someone from the restaurant needed to call. I pass the girl the phone. I hear him tell her we are busy and can't pick anyone up. He was on speaker. She noticed he was being unprofessional and she took it out of speaker. Get back and talk to a manager Andrew to tell him the experience. He basically sweeps it under the rug and said he was the only one there and he didn't answer the call. Other reason for low rating is the wait time in the counter. Seems like There's a lot of people in the back but only one person helping. People had to wait for bikes and check in checkout. It was a bit of a cluster. Overall nice stay. The cleaners and maintenance crew were super nice and friendly. Worth the money paid for the experience and the amenities.
