I just got home from DJing a wedding there tonight (8/3) and had one of the best experiences. Beautiful venue and landscaping. Reception area as well. A perfect spot for a DJ with dedicated isolated power outlets. Owners were friendly and always there if anything was needed, but weren't in the way. We got married at Green Gates in June of 2023 and the venue was absolutely perfect!! From the beginning, Debbie and Kerry were so kind, professional, flexible, easy to communicate with and quick to jump in and help with any questions or needs that we had. They work so hard to keep the venue looking stunning and to make all their couples feel comfortable and at home at their venue. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. We got so many compliments on it from all of our guests and vendors. Both our photographer and videographer couldn't stop talking about how many perfect locations there were for photos/video and how photogenic the whole venue was. The property is spacious with beauty everywhere you look. They have a whole closet full of decor and extras that you can borrow for the day to decorate and make your visions come to life. On wedding day, Kerry and Debbie were around to help and answer any questions we (or our vendors) had. The venue has everything you could need for a beautiful, fun wedding that your guests will love. plus it's the best if you want absolutely stunning wedding photos. My daughter's wedding at Green Gates was wonderful and the owners/staff were a big part of that. They were very accommodating and supportive. The venue is beautiful with so many picturesque spots within the grounds from the lake views to indoor spaces to green grottos. I can't say enough about the owners and how helpful and thoughtful they are. For instance they asked where the brides grandparents would be sitting so they could position an outdoor heater near them. I was impressed! This place was fabulous! Clean, gorgeous, romantic and spacious! My friend Petr had his wedding there. It was truly amazing. They have little room for the bridal party to get ready. Parking lot. The view is amazing. This place is overlooking the lake. The reception was inside the barn that was nicely decorated with lights etc. everything was very accessible and accommodating. Unprofessional, definitely not flexible with Covid postponements, the bridal suit looks like a 90 year old lives there (not cute for pictures). Since we were very rudely turned away after postponing our big day due to Covid we were told by others who've attended weddings here that we should consider ourselves lucky because the owners babysit people drinking and micromanage the entire reception. Had our daughter's wedding at Green Gates. This venue is stunning! The owners are wonderful to work with before and during the event. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a grass area for the ceremony, separate buildings for the bridal party and groomsmen to dress, a building for bar setup, staging area for caterer, large reception area. The venue includes tables, chairs, decorations, a chest for presents, a letter box for envelopes, ice machine, large reach-in refrigerator, plus being steps away from Flowing Lake consider a float plane departure - quite a sight! Owners, Debbie & Kerry have suggestions for linens, D.J., bartenders, florist, and caterers. We rented and had delivered to the site table clothes and a doughnut holder. The local florist recommendation put together beautiful floral arrangements. This venue is gorgeous, good value, great owners. read more

A year ago we did the "Snohomish Wedding Tour" looking for the right venue for our kids. This was the last place we went to and knew almost immediately it was perfect. So inviting and Full of warmth and rustic charm. All the special & personal touches, like succulents planted in old firefighter boots...that was a big hook for us my husband is a firefighter we knew it was a sign. Nothing is over done and nothing is spared. The landscaping is meticulous & creatively well thought out. You will find numerous settings to capture your Photo moments. Because of how beautiful this venue is, it requires very little decor needed. Plus they are so generous to lend you more decor from their storage. The best part about this absolutely gorgeous venue, are the owners Kerry and Debbie. They feel like family the minute you meet them. There attentive and caring and do everything to make the wedding day goes smoothly. They're a absolute pleasure to work with as well as their amazing staff.... honestly you're a true blessing. Wow!! I don't even know where to begin in saying how wonderful this venue is for a wedding. It is naturally gorgeous with the ceremony view for your guests being overlooking a lake with greenery all around. It is peaceful and beautiful. The owners, who are amazing to work with, have done so much to create a unique reception space in the ballroom. It is a renovated barn with exposed beams and chandeliers. They have included lighting that is very romantic and another thing you don't have to worry about during wedding planning. They have working restrooms so you don't have to rent additional portable restrooms like you would with a lot of outdoor spaces. The ballroom is indoor/outdoor and they are highly prepared for unexpected weather. The property flows very naturally and makes for a seamless experience for your guests. They recently put in a new bar area which goes perfectly with the other thoughtful landscaping and thematic feel of the venue. The cocktail area is gravel with well thought out wine barrels with marble tops for a chic feel in an outdoor space. The huge trees surrounding that area help beat the heat of a hot day and bring another layer to the feel of the space. Now, the best part are the owners themselves, Debbie and Kerry. They are clearly passionate and so caring about the venue and making sure their customers have a successful and fantastic wedding day. They are very easy to communicate with and get back to you quickly to any questions and requests to tour the venue again, if necessary, during your wedding planning journey. Green Gates at Flowing Lake is truly a hidden gem! My husband and I had been touring the Snohomish venues, and the moment we stepped onto this venue, we both knew it was something special.  Both Kerry and Debbie take great pride in the overall venue, and Kerry is constantly working to improve the grounds/space. For example: we booked in 2015, and by the time our wedding took place in 2017, Kerry had added the following: new pavers all around the venue, the entire back hallway + extra space (perfect photo-booth space!), new bathrooms, and more. The best part is that they are an all-inclusive venue, and allow you to use all their amazing, beautiful décor that they have (includes rustic chic items: wine barrels, ladders, in-house farm tables, signage, etc.), which is SO neat. We didn't stop hearing from all the guests: "wow, this place is absolutely beautiful.." Another wonderful thing? They are INCREDIBLY accommodating - they never said no when we asked if we could come visit the venue for planning for our special day, always meeting us with hellos and hugs, and making sure to catch up on our personal lives - on the day-of, they were SO helpful, actually helping our staff-team with pulling out tables, chairs, setting up, and making sure that the venue looked its absolute best.
