Sharon was all hands on deck with everything we could possibly want and or need. We truly lucked out finding such a special place that was not only in my home town that is very special to me, but also was also so beautiful for our 50 guest wedding. This historic chapel is so intimate and beautiful. The ceremony space is breathtaking and really sold the place for me! More than the gorgeous space, my husband and I were most impressed with the owner, Sharon. She made our wedding day absolutely perfect. Sharon helped us navigate through the uncertainty of a 2020 Covid wedding with grace. She also acted as our day of coordinator and made sure everything ran smoothly and effortlessly. Can't believe it took me so long to write a review for this place. Both my husband & I loved having our Ceremony & Reception here. It's a quaint, historic Chapel and reception Hall in historic Snohomish. It's the perfect venue for smaller weddings (125 - 135 people tops). This venue allows the Bride & Groom to have a beautiful "church" ceremony in the Chapel and cozy reception indoors (during Winter like we did) or spread into the lovely courtyard outdoors. Rev. Sharon St Marie (also the owner) presided over our ceremony. She & her assistant were quite attentive and helpful during the planning and day of the event. She met with us to write our ceremony and get to know us a little better. We bonded really quickly with her and still keep in touch! The pricing included 13 hours of facility use as well as an hour Rehearsal a couple nights before. We were also able to use any of the cups & saucers, coffee pots, water pitchers, decorative mirrors, silk flowers (there is a whole room of them upstairs in back of the chapel!), piano, reception/dining tables, chairs, gift table, music station, etc. on that day. There is a whole large list on the web site. This facility allows you to bring in your own catering & bar needs. There are linens to rent, or you can bring your own. The decor inside is vintage & very warm. For us, it was the perfect setting for our life event. read more

Cute place! I think the wedding we were at was a little too large for the space, but it was cute regardless. A huge issue we had though was none of the bathrooms worked. I guess they did at the beginning but halfway through the reception they all were broken (I guess one from earlier that was not in the downstairs reception space had already broke, and now the 2 downstairs then broke). We were told at that point we could go tot he Chevron down the street hahaha. Luckily it was not the beginning, and they were trying to fix it, but still a pretty big issue. read more

My daughter had her wedding at Belle Chapel on July 31, 2016.  It is such a beautiful venue.  The chapel where the ceremony took place was charming and lovely. It was so convenient to have the reception right downstairs. The reception area has French doors that opened up to a beautiful courtyard. I think having the option to have half the tables inside and half the table outside just added to the charm. It was a sunny July day, and people could spend time inside and outside. Sharon is very helpful. She gave us some good advise the night of our wedding rehearsal. She knows what she's doing.  I think my daughter had a perfect wedding day, and the venue Belle Chapel just added to the charm and magic. It was a beautiful summer day, but we did not really have any problem with lack or airflow. People loved that they could go outside too. read more

Located about 40 minutes northeast of Seattle lies the town of Snohomish. This was my first time to Seattle and I was so incredibly excited to see the state. I spent one day in Seattle and the next in Snohomish for my friend's wedding at Belle Chapel. Upon first seeing Belle Chapel, I realized it was a lot smaller than I had envisioned. But, in some cases, smaller can be better. This was true for Belle Chapel. :-) The chapel could hold between 70-80 guests and it was absolutely adorable inside. They had a large reception area in the "basement" where we ate, drank and danced after the wedding. Outside was a grassy area for mingling and taking pictures -- and they had set up a wine stand as well. It was honestly the perfect setting for a wedding. I'm not really into large weddings, so this size was just right. How can you beat a cute little chapel in the mountains of Washington? read more

What a beautiful venue. My sister got married here last night. It was such a lovely space. It was nice being able to walk downstairs and you're at the reception. No driving anywhere. Lots of parking and it was in a quiet area.. We were able to use any of the dishes in the kitchen which was wonderful but a bit disappointed that it cost my mom over 300 bucks to use the plates etc Venue was spacious. You have the option to be inside or out. My personal only complaint was I wish they had bathrooms upstairs where the bridal suit was, it was rather a pain having to run up and down the stairs to use the bathroom, especially since us bridesmaids didn't want anyone seeing our dresses. But other than that I'd had a great time. The owner was a sweetheart, and made my sisters big day perfect!!! read more

Wow! Where to begin? I grew up in a small country town in Alabama, and this smaller, intimate wedding chapel brings me back home and makes me think of the small town churches that I grew up in. Don't let this description fool you, the chapel will entertain about 100 or so, possibly more, and will allow you to have both your wedding reception and ceremony in the same location. Sharon is amazing to work with, and she will bend over backwards to accommodate your needs. She is super attentive, and being the owner of the establishment, she is an excellent resource as to what has worked in the past for other wedding couples. She will do just about anything to help you out to make your day special. This establishment has a commercial style kitchen in the downstairs that will allow your caterer to work in ease, a serving window to the kitchen that we used to serve beverages, plenty of tables free to use with the rental of the chapel, linens, flatware, and glassware available to rent, and the grounds of the chapel are very picturesque! If your photographer isn't happy with the grounds of the chapel for pictures, then downtown Snohomish is just a quick stroll away! My wife and I used a van to transport the wedding party downtown for pictures along the Snohomish River and downtown! It worked out really well! All-in-all, my wife and I looked at several different venues in the area. We went, looked, and thought about several other places. However, when we stepped into the Belle Chapel, we thought "this is it"! If you are having a wedding with 100 or so guests, or maybe even a little more (you know not EVERYONE you invite will show up!), you owe it to yourself to check out this gem in downtown Snohomish. What an awesome wedding.... My new wife and I were just married here last night (12/1/2013) and the whole thing could not have been any better. We started to look for venues many months in advance of our big day. Belle Chapel was literally the first place we toured, and we knew right away we didn't need to look any further. The building was built in 1885 and has been meticulously maintained. It has a genuine and warm feeling to it, has great acoustics, and takes to creative lighting well. Sharon (the manager and event coordinator) was kind, caring, and professional throughout the process. Her recommendations were spot on and helped to reduce a lot of the stress any soon-to-be-married couple might experience. She kept tabs on us regularly all the way up to the event and made sure the night was a blast. People all night were telling us that the wedding was the most fun they had ever been to. The size and feel of the place was perfect for us and Sharon is a true master of her profession. We will be recommending this place to everyone we know. We got married at Belle Chapel October 1st, 2016 and I can't say enough how lovely this venue was on our special day. The owner, Sharon, was absolutely wonderful helping us with details leading up to and including the morning of the event. The chapel was absolutely gorgeous and the the reception following in the basement was easy for our guests to attend both ceremony and reception with no additional driving. The reception area opens via french doors to a courtyard that is a perfect location for children to run about and play. We love the location and what a delight it was to hear from guests how much they loved the venue! I highly recommend the Belle Chapel for any couple looking for a striking wedding venue. I had my wedding at Belle Chapel in August 2014. It is such a beautiful venue. The chapel where the ceremony took place was absolutely stunning and the reception right downstairs with French doors that opened up out onto the lawn - magical! Sharon is very helpful and definitely knows what she's doing. Price was very reasonable for the space and parking is no problem at all. Belle chapel will always have a very special place in my heart! As mentioned in the other review the only complaint was the lack of airflow through the reception area. It was HOT and kept most of the guests outside on the lawn! So if you are getting married in the Summertime plan on utilizing the outdoor space as much as possible! read more

I was a bridesmaid in a friend's January wedding that was at this venue recently. She had about 110 guests. The venue was perfect for this size of wedding, it was very intimate. The ceremony room could be dressed for just about any beliefs or religion. Since the venue's name has "Chapel" in it I automatically thought "oh this is a church" but it does not give off a church feel. Yes there are pews in the ceremony space; there are cathedral ceilings, with very beautiful beams above with hanging light fixtures, a beautiful sheer backdrop. This venue offered a LOT more than many other local wedding venues. They have event accessory room where they have many colors of different flowers, vases; flower peddles, different colored table linens, cables and decorations to use down the aisle, lighted LED tress, and much more. There are two private areas where the newlyweds can get ready and have their wedding party hang and get dressed in as well. The reception room is downstairs and with the guest count my friend had this space was perfect! The reception room has very nice lighting that can be dimmed to set the tone, along with little crystal chandeliers, there was also a lighted LED tree in the corner that was pretty neat. The weather was a little chilly that evening so the outside grassy courtyard area next to the reception room was not used but I could imagine a summer wedding having the double doors open and using the courtyard for cocktail hour, dancing or even dinner with some hanging outdoor lights above. If it was not raining the day of my friend's wedding the courtyard would have be PERFECT for wedding photos! The coordinator was on top of her game! She gave a lot of good suggestions, hands on during the rehearsal and the morning of the wedding. I would absolutely recommend this wedding location! read more
