Cool brewery. Somewhat smallish. We sat outside near the fire pit. It was perfect for our dog and kids. We actually didn't go inside cause their waitress took care of everything. It did look fairly small though. The beers I tried were good. Their Apex West Coast IPA is one of their flagships and it was solid. Also had to try the Ryes of the Pumpkin King! Love the names of their brews. Pretty creative. The food was typical overpriced pub fare but they did a fantastic job with the burgers and sandwiches. I have been here several times after bicycle rides in the Snohomish valley or on the Centennial Trail. The menu her is diverse and includes a lot of pub favorites like jalapeno poppers and burgers. The vegetarian options are few and generally consist of fried things. There is a beyond burger available for an up charge (why?). More could be done. Nevertheless the beer is good and there are many choices. There is outdoor seating but ambiance is lacking as the location is the parking lot of a commercial park. I decided to sit outside even though it had been raining most of the day (big risk for the Pacific Northwest, I know), but our sweet waitress came to the rescue and offered to turn on the heater while I waited. Cozy + thoughtful = the perfect start. Now, full disclosure: breweries aren't usually my first pick since I'm not a big beer/wine/cider fan. But the food? Chef's kiss. I had the BBQ pork wrap and truffle fries, and they were both so good I'd come back just for the meal alone. I paired it with a cider (baby steps into the brewery world), and it was a solid match. The vibe is totally on point--dark wood, a little industrial, and still warm and welcoming. It was pretty quiet when I arrived, but definitely started filling up by the time we left, and you could feel the energy kick in. What a cute little brewery tucked away in the heart of Snohomish! I was recently passing through town and remembered I'd been wanting to check out this spot, the original Sound to Summit location (I've visited their newer Everett location before). It's a bit hidden away inside a small industrial park, but once I found it (thanks Waze!) there was plenty of parking to be had. Inside, it looked and felt like a brewery, definitely losing that industrial park vibe and instead feeling very inviting with lots of seating, warm lighting, and a friendly staff. I grabbed a pint of their Amber Ale (which I'd previously fallen in love with at their Everett location) and it was the perfect fall afternoon sip outside in their mini beer garden. I didn't have time to try any of the food here, or any of their other beers, but I would love to come back next time I'm in the area! read more

The server was super helpful with beer recommendations based on our preferences and we were not disappointed. I had the ny dip...really rich and large portion that was delish. Meh. Food sucked beer was alright. Great venue and lots of open space. Service was alright but it did take a while for us to get our food and there was only two tables there (us and the other). Maybe they were short staffed in the kitchen? The ceasar salad was dressed nicely however they gave me mostly white parts of the romaine lettuce plus lots of pieces that were clearly old. The Gouda mac and cheese was not creamy and tasted highly diluted with water. Mix it good in order to get flavor. There was more onion than bacon and it was really strange eating onions in my mac and cheese. Nothing against onions cause I love them, however it did not mesh well for me. The last time we went here was during Covid. Not quite sure why we haven't made it back but we are disappointed that we haven't come back sooner. First and foremost, the two ladies servicing the entire location on Wednesday were so friendly and attentive to our needs. They were wonderful! Top notch if you ask me. Great atmosphere. The set up in there was perfect. Outdoor seating looked awesome. It was a bit cloudy and that was the reason we sat inside. Otherwise, the outdoor seating looked amazing! We will for sure be back again to sit out there. Well, we had the chicken wings, a wrap and the halibut burger. All were fantastic. The dipping sauces were all enjoyable and homemade from what I could tell. I have a huge opinion on wings because I love them and have them all the time and they crushed the soy ginger wings. Some of the best I have had. I look forward to telling my coworkers and friends about this little gem and hope to bring some more business to this place because they deserve it. Also, one of the ladies behind the bar told me that another location has been open in Everett right where I work since last summer????! So first of all...They are puppets inclusive, not just friendly. They actually have a pup menu! Beers: "Above the Clouds" and the "Phased and Confused" both hazy IPAs and Delicious! Food: Korra (pup) had zero complaints on her burger patty! I had the Truffle Bistro Burger, packs a flavor punch! I will definitely order again but will probably skip the Dijon, it made it a little salty for me. In 2020, my Husband and I had the pleasure of welcoming a delightful fur baby into our family, who we lovingly named Lowkey. He's our fur-covered bundle of joy! As he struggles with being alone, we always endeavor to find destinations that are accommodating for our big guy. Recently, we had the pleasure of dining at Sound to Summit, which to our delight, has a special section on their menu for our four-legged friends. We treated Lowkey to two succulent all-beef patties and a couple of bacon strips. The team's care and attention were well evident when they brought out the bacon decorated with a ketchup paw print, an adorable gesture! Great place to come for beer and great food. It's located below Providence Medical in North Snohomish. There's ample parking and lots of tables inside as well as some outside. It was a sunny day so lots of people were enjoying the sunshine. It can get quite busy but we came just before 3 pm so there were lots of tables open. They have good selection of beer-we had the Hawaiian POG kolsch $7 and the honey blonde $6.50. The POG was light and refreshing and the honey blonde was VERY good! The food was great!! The signature chowder is a must get and the monster fries (waffle fries loaded with pulled pork, peppers, cheese and bacon) was to die for. The pretzel had a light crispy crust and the inside was light- not the usual hard doughy stuff. We also had the honey glazed brussels sprouts with balsamic vinegar drizzle and large flakes of Parmesan cheese. All the dishes were great! So I drove a couple hours to get to S2S. I was really hungry and ordered the fish and chips. I love fish and chips. When they brought my plate I saw 3 black pieces of fish. I thought ok they use a different seasoning. It was the worst fish I had ever eaten. Very dry and hard on the outside. I have had F&C all over the world. It was by far the worst. My wife told the waitress about it and she apologized and deflected with " there is a new girl in the kitchen." Excuse me??? When I got my bill , nothing. No discount, nothing. Zero stars. I stopped by here after a hike and just wanted a beer and a burger. And it needed to be dog friendly. When I drove up I saw the tables outside and lots of families and of course other dogs. I sat down and immediately got a menu and the menu seemed to be perfect for what I wanted. The interesting thing is that they had a menu section for dogs I was not expecting that at all. The beer selection was great and I had to try a Hawaiian POG Kolsch and was it refreshing. Along with the beer I ordered the S2S burger which is a good sized cheese burger and you select the cheese and I chose a smoked gouda . The atmosphere is very relaxed, the service was fantastic, the food was good, the priced was reasonable and they allow dogs sounds like a perfect combination. While it is a little bit of a drive I can definitely see myself coming back to try out different beers and other menu items. read more

Love the amber here, and the food is very good!! However, the service in the last 6 months has been 1 star. The staff is friendly and helpful, yet we are always waiting to be served. We even have to flag someone down sitting at the bar. I have talked with staff about this each visit and they are apologetic and kind. My last visit it took 12 minutes to get help, first sitting outside then came in to get service. Yes there were many large tables and only one server that I could see. I ordered my usual 1beer and an appetizer to start and walked out after an hour and fifteen minutes. Way to long for service. Management.. please do some hiring. I will return (perhaps to Everett location) as I enjoy the food and beverage. I bring friends yet warn them about how bad the wait is. Hopefully there is improvement next time.
