I recently met Trent, the owner. He was very nice and accommodating for me to view the venue. As a vendor, I really appreciate the layout of the venue and the event support that the owners provide, such as moving tables and chairs around and helping in the cleanup/takedown process of the event. Even taking away the trash at the end of the night. So many venues expect the couple/clients to haul tables and chairs and trash to obscure storage locations on their property at 11:00 pm. This makes a big difference when hiring our team to help with takedown. I was able to give my clients a huge discount for my takedown/cleanup service. So all of you potential couples, think about this for your convenience and ease of operation for your event when looking for a wedding venue. I was a guest (aunt of the bride) so I can only speak from a guest experience. This is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue. It's in a neighborhood and set very far back from any houses. So it's a hidden gem! This place has amazing large lawns and lots of floral shrubs. Just driving up the lane to the venue gave me butterflies. The owners were very helpful throughout the whole day. They even helped my husband and I get my keys out of my locked car! The father of the groom thanked the owners in his toast so I have a good feeling they were wonderful to work with like he said. As it started to get dark they lit torches (not tacky tiki ones) around the outdoor dining/reception area and have so many other great lighting touches. This has to be one of the most beautiful wedding venues I've seen (and I toured a lot for my wedding a few years ago). Although, this wedding venue is beyond breath taking and views are incredible. I would never recommend getting married here. When we first toured this venue the owner Pam was so helpful and nice. Once we booked and she got our money the whole thing went down from there. My experience as a bride was so stressful. She made us feel very belittled she talked to us like we where 5 years old. She is very disrespectful and unprofessional. The week of our wedding she emailed me asking if we wanted to put the rain cover on the pergola. Mind you she emailed me on a holiday. What if i was camping or didn't have cell service and i couldn't respond, would i have lost out of that option? I emailed her back saying i didn't think we needed it because the weather looked okay, she told me, "let me make this absolutely clear to you, i need to know by 12pm today ( the 4th of July) if you need this. I was beyond taken back by this. So unprofessional to email someone on a holiday demanding for an answer. The day of rehearsal she sought my mother out, couldn't even let her walk into the place without antagonizing her for the money. All my family was mortified by her actions. Also, we signed a contract saying we had the venue from 10-10. She was kind enough to let us (bridesmaids get there early to get ready). Hearing the next day from everyone that the bridal party was harassed the whole time to start cleaning up by 7:30pm. We where PUSHED out of the venue at 9:00pm. I asked pam the next week if we where going to reimbursed for that hour we lost. No response. My whole family and bridal crew couldn't enjoy their time because we didn't have a wedding coordinator. Their time was ruined. She gave my mother and law such a hard time, because she brought the bridal party food so we can eat while getting ready and for the family that had to be there early for photos. Pam was beyond rude. She told my mother and law that she can't have the food there because its for the caterers. ( it as 1pm and the caterers weren't going to be there until at least 3:45-4:00pm). The day of our wedding hearing that she called my own mother a bad name because she couldn't find toilet paper was beyond disrespectful. Mind you Pam is onsite at your venue the whole entire time, so if this is going to happen, people should be allowed to ask her questions. Pam also stressed to my husband and i that we NEEDED to have a wedding coordinator. Unfortunately, that was not in the contract and we didn't budget for it. So she was very rude and disrespectful and harassed my bridesmaids, my mother and law and my mom the whole time where they couldn't even enjoy their time. Someone spilt wine on one of the white chairs ( its a wedding it will happen) she cussed up a storm to my bridesmaids. Also, if you plan to have alcohol at this wedding, good luck. We where originally going to get three kegs, because our friends are beer drinkers. She cut that off so fast and told us two would be enough. She was so concerned and expressed to my guests and my family how in the world could they go through two kegs in 2 hours. Mind you we had about 160 people its hot people want to drink. After we left my family and bridal crew where cleaning up the venue they found many of my wine that i purchased hidden. When they where looking in coolers, pam said oh i checked nothing was there. So she was hiding our alcohol. In conclusion, I DO NOT recommend this venue. If you do book this venue i can't stress enough you better have a wedding coordinator. Maybe she will be nicer. read more

My son and daughter-in -law were married at OVE last weekend. We were a bit hesitant after reading the reviews about Pam, but the venue is so beautiful we decided to take our chances and I'm so glad we did! Some of our communication from Pam ahead of the event was a bit abrupt and not super kind, but she definitely gets to the point. We didn't see Pam the entire weekend; not at the rehearsal nor at the wedding. This could have been because we hired her recommended day of coordinator, I'm not sure. We did meet her husband, Trent, who was very kind, friendly and accommodating. This venue is beyond breathtaking, with so many amazing picturesque spots. It truly gave us magical photos! Yes, you do need to be out by 10 pm (guests leaving at 9 pm) but honestly if you start your ceremony at 3:30 like we did, a 5 hour reception was perfect. You have the venue starting at 10 am, so that gives you plenty of time to get ready and take photos before the start time. A friend brought food and beverages for the wedding party ahead of time without any issues. They just ask that you drink any alcohol in the brides/ grooms quarters and don't go walking around the grounds with it before a licensed bartender is on the premises. Definitely check out OVE! I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more

If I can give you the review for the ground and the venue I would give it 5 stars it meets all needs it's absolutely stunning all areas of the venue are just gorgeous and well taken of. Unfortunately the owners ruin this beautiful place. We had our wedding here. I've been to many weddings and not once did I see the owners on the premises. Trent an Pam were like baby sitters is the best way to explain this. I hired a day of coordinator, licensed bar tenders, top notch catering and yet they were hovering over everyone. When you first sign the contract you are given the option to have outside cleaning or yourself clean after the wedding. When it came to the final payment we were hounded about the cleaning. We were told we were NOT allowed to use outside services and given a list a mile long to clean before we leave the venue to clean. The person that they have is a family member who comes the morning after! I read my contract, no where is it stated no outside services. They are all business and all about the money. If you pay for a rain cover be sure to see if the party or wedding the night before is using it as well. I wouldn't pay the full amount! You think you are paying a pretty good price until you have to pay the extras. It wouldn't be that bad if they weren't there! I have a 10 people who had incidents with Pam. I did not expect my guest to have to deal with the rudeness from Pam. Until they take a step back or have someone come an manage the property for weddings I WOULDN'T recommend this for a wedding. read more

Upon arrival, I was breathless. It is one of the most beautiful, picturesque places to be! The view is most spectacular from early in the day until sunset. I am a professional photographer and the possibilities in this venue are endless! I took TONS of pictures and was honored by Pam -- the owner -- to be the first to take pictures out on the private wildflower field of the bride and groom. Pam and Trent have done a miraculous job on this venue and I would H*I*G*H*L*Y R*E*C*O*M*M*E*N*D this to anyone celebrating their life of together-ness. read more

I can't say enough AMAZING things about this venue!! Back in October 2015 my Fiance' (at the time;) And I were looking for a Wedding venue. Luckily we stumbled upon OVE from a referral and within minutes we were on the phone with Pam setting up a time that same day to go out and tour it. Even on a gloomy pouring rain kind of October day while in the midst of final construction, we could see how beautiful this venue was, and the potential it had. Fast forward a few months to Spring time, OVE hosted an open house for those who were having Summer weddings to preview what all they had accomplished at the venue thus far. It was BEAUTIFUL! Pulling up the main drive I couldn't wipe the huge smile off my face. They had done so many gorgeous additions to the space since we had seen it last in October, it literally was a dream Wedding location. The amount of creativity and thought process to how they've created this venue is just magical. From the Golf themed 'Groom's Room' and the beautiful 'Bridal Suite' that has the perfect set up for hair and makeup, they really paid attention to detail. I could go on and on about the great details, but this review would be a novel by the time I was done. Once the Wedding Day approached, everything was set in place perfectly. At the time, we were lucky enough to work with their daughter Nichole who was our day of coordinator. We couldn't have done it without her!! Nichole was so organized, personable and professional, she truly was a joy to work with! Not only was Nichole such amazing help, Trent and Pam were also very accommodating to whatever needs we wanted, and great with every one of our vendors who was coming on site, everyone was so great to work with from beginning to end. Our guests at the Wedding were in awe of this space. I can't tell you how many people complimented the grounds throughout the day. It was so fun to see all our family and friends enjoy the surroundings as much as we did. OVE has set the standards for what the next generation of Wedding Venues should be. My husband Sam and I would personally like to thank Trent, Pam & Nichole for giving us our dream wedding. We signed a contract with this venue and ended up canceling our wedding here so I can tell you about what it really is all about. -Everyone has to be OUT BY 10PM- and clean up starts at 9PM -Music off by 9:30 -Alcohol done serving by 9PM- Last call will have to be around 8:30 -5 Hour MAX amount of time for alcohol -You cannot have a cocktail hour before the wedding- but if you beg enough and they give you enough crap about it- they will but charge you more on your deposit and keep it if any alcohol is seen in the ceremony area -Even though they didn't mention this and it'd not stated in the contract- you have to somehow enforce that throughout the wedding no alcohol can be consumed in the ceremony area -When you are driving there, you are driving through a neighborhood- definitely not a very special feeling, more like, 'I think Google maps is wrong, there's no way it could be here' -To the north are industrial electrical poles -The parking lot is RIGHT next to the reception area -When we were there I could hardly hear myself think as the neighbors were mowing their lawn -Motor homes the neighbors own are visible from the venue -The bridal cottage is tiny- and there is no bathroom. So if you have to go to the bathroom, you have to go to the main room where everyone will see you (only important before the ceremony) -While the view is kind of nice you see a lot of people's homes in that view. We ended up not going forward with them but had only signed 2 weeks from when we canceled and I was shocked that they wouldn't be flexible in returning even a dollar of the $1,000 deposit. While yes, it does say non-refundable, they had spent all of maybe 1 hour dedicating to us, I think this is a testament to how inflexible they are. They never responded to my last email when inquiring about it. Little professionalism in not hearing back from them, little flexibility in the deposit, zero responsiveness after my emails regarding the deposit. read more
