Green Group Remodeling did a superb job on our recent master bathroom remodeling project. Tula was our project manager he was amazing!! from the first step to the finish line. It was not a simple project by any means. There were significant plumbing & electrical changes, including creating a new zero-threshold shower & installing a stand-alone bathtub in a different location than the prior layout. Vanity plumbing was moved, as well as light fixtures & electrical outlets. We worked with their designer for about 2 months to create & refine the new design. She provided excellent guidance to help clarify & realize our vision & style, as well as assisting us on the dozens of selections that we made. We always felt that Erin was tuned into our preferences, and wasn't trying to push any particular style or approach. The 3D renderings that she prepared were extremely helpful to help us visualize & refine the design, resulting in a harmonious design that was perfect for us. During the construction phase, the plumbing & tile work was particularly excellent, with so many details (3 niches, a pony wall, pebble shower floor, etc). They did a great job installing new Fabuwood vanity & cabinets. Throughout the project, Tula was extremely responsive, communicative & well organized. Every evening, we received an e-mail explaining who would be coming the following day and exactly what they would be working on. In contrast to other contactors we have worked with in the past, they always had the right technicians there on the right day, in the right order, to get the project done in a timely fashion. All of their technicians showed up on time and their workmanship was extremely high quality. They were all friendly & easy to interact with. They did not smoke or play any loud music on our property, and in general were 100% professional. They did not hesitate to ask when there were choices to be made along the way, and they were open to our suggestions. It's clear that they all took pride in their work, and showed great attention to detail. As a result, our final punch list was very short. We've worked with a few other general contractors in the past, and Green Group is by far the best that we have found. We love our new master bathroom, and will enjoy it for many years to come. I just completed a kitchen and bath remodel with Green Group and couldn't be happier. We recently had water damage/mold issues in our new house and were looking for a company that could handle the whole project for us as we didn't know where to begin. Green Group just completed our upstairs bathroom and we are 110% happy with the experience! Over the summer we were looking to remodel a bathroom in the basement in-law unit of our home. This project was not large in scale, but complicated given a tight space and the age of our home (100+ years old). Also, bringing the bathroom up to current building code required a significant amount of work, especially with the plumbing and electrical wiring. We sought several bids during our process, and upon meeting Jacob we knew that Green Group would be right contractor for us! Jacob was honest from the get-go about the potential challenges of this project and told us up front what would be required in terms of the complexity of the work, cost, and timing. We appreciated his honesty, fairness, and willingness to be flexible should issues arise and changes need to be made to the project scope. The Green Group crew could not have been more hard-working, honest, and nice to deal with. They are just good people, and moreover excellent at their craft. The crew worked to a fast timeline and performed well in every facet. One could not ask for a more professional group, and people who are just hard-working, patient, and pleasant to be around! We had multiple changes to this project, and a very difficult process to obtain City approval of the work. Through it all, Jacob and crew handled themselves professionally, patiently, and with the utmost integrity. Communication was excellent, as Jacob reached out to us daily with updates and to answer our questions (we had many through this process!!!). Like reviewer Aileen B., I rarely write a Yelp! review, and I'm unlikely to give five stars for anything as complex as a home renovation project. In the case of our recent bathroom remodeling by Green Group, I wish I could break the score into two categories: five stars for the result, which is excellent, and four stars for the process, which was good but not perfect. The problems with the process mainly had to do with not having the foreman onsite regularly enough, which caused some delays when the workers ran into something unexpected and didn't know how to proceed. Getting in touch with the foreman was a bit of a roundabout process, and my wife or I would sometimes have to wait around for a while until he arrived to resolve a question, which wasn't a big problem for us, but could be for others. Despite such occasional short-term frustrations, the project was completed in a timely manner, and the unexpected circumstances, like having to move an existing vent stack to make room for the shower niche, were resolved smoothly and without fuss. One of the things we particularly appreciated was the team's willingness to correct things that weren't their fault. For example, a light fixture we purchased didn't work with a dimmer, as it was advertised to do. When the replacement fixture arrived, after everything else was complete, they were happy to come back and swap it out for us, at no extra charge. We are delighted with the well-crafted outcome, and Green Group is at the top of our list for future projects. read more

Do I recommend Green Group? Yes. Just take a peek at the before and after views of our bathroom as an example. I'm happy with the outcome. I rarely write reviews- 4 star rating is a big deal from me. I will probably never give five-star reviews because I don't think anybody is perfect. From my research of contractors, I preferred Green Group because there is a project manager. Mat was the project manager for our bathroom repair and remodel. I appreciated having a point person. He met us at showrooms where we were able to pick out our tile, flooring, and vanity. I was able to design and pick products to make the bathroom how I wanted. You can also pick products from Home Depot, Lowe's, or online by the way! Just make sure you coordinate when the team needs it by so you can make sure it's available then. Why I rate them 4 stars: -project finished by agreed deadline -final payment didn't change- it was as agreed in the beginning -professionalism and expertise of the team -cleaned up the inside path to work area each day -wore masks for COVID-19 precautions -they took care of getting city permits and inspection I learned a lot about the process and what to expect. I had the pleasure to work with Gil, Project Manager for Green Bay Remodeling. Worked with Gil on planning the remodel of my master bathroom. Scope of work included removing bathtub and installing stand up shower, new vanity, new toilet, new lighting and flooring. Gil helped me pick out materials at Granite Expo. The installers were great, did all the work without using subcontractors. Gil kept them on track and periodically was on site to inspect progress. I came across Green Group Remodeling and received a free consultation from Daniel who was very professional and easy to talk to so I decided to go with them. This is an update to my review posted earlier... I received a call from Daniel within 24 hours of this post. He was apologetic for our experience and wanted to make it right. He came by that same week and agreed the items I pointed out/posted were not finished as they should have been. He offered to address each of the items noted and proceeded to schedule the work. Tile work: Daniel brought in a true tile person and the work speaks for itself. See the two photos - the window is actually centered now and the cuts around the window and shampoo niche are clean. They ripped out all the tile work and started from scratch. We couldn't be happier with the end result in the shower and I appreciate that Daniel brought in a true craftsman to do the job. There were still some misses even with the second round of repairs. Daniel offered to repair anything I didn't like, but at this point I just want it done and opted to make the repairs myself. If they are unable to identify poor fit/finish items there really isn't a point in continuing to engage. You'll see pictures of their work and the fixes I made. Bullnose/Wall repair: When taking out the tile they damaged the wall a bit. We opted to go with bullnose tile for a clean look vs. the industrial look you get with a Schluter bar. The subs were supposed to float the wall and build a clean edge so the bullnose would show. The drywall/float work was bad and for some reason they loaded the edge with silicone and put it ON THE BULLNOSE TILE. We did not buy bullnose to cover the edges with silicone. You can see the before and after pictures. Again, this is a quality issue I should not have to point out. I floated the wall again, built up clean edges, removed all the silicone off the tiles and then repainted both the small and large wall. Baseboard: Daniel offered to replace all the baseboard and repaint it. I told him to just focus on the one to the left and I could live with the other since it's behind the toilet and under the vanity. Unfortunately painting a 7' baseboard seems to be a challenge for these contractors. The subs he brought in this time loaded it with paint and in the process got paint on the new tile floor and paint on my door stop because they installed it while it was still wet (see pics). I removed the baseboard and purchased a new one. Sanded and painted it. Now it's smooth and the there is no paint on the floor or door stop. Toilet escutcheon: The incorrect one was removed and the correct size put in. read more

We worked with Jacob as our general contractor from Green Group Remodeing, and he did a great job with our place! We redid our kitchen, did new hardwood floors throughout the house, and took down a wall between the dining room and kitchen. The house looks amazing now: it is so much more comfortable and the limited space we have is much better utilized. Jacob was really flexible about adding additional scope in the middle of the project, such as a fireplace removal. He was also willing to work with a third party flooring contractor that we initially hired, but ultimately we decided not to go with in favor of having one of Jacob's guys get the floors done faster. The project took a few months longer than expected because of permit issues that were outside of Green Group's control. We were difficult clients because we had a baby as the project was wrapping up and we were super stressed out, and Jacob still managed to get the work done as quickly as possible with a high level of professionalism. read more

Our ADU was started by another contractor who couldn't finish the project. There were corrections that needed to be addressed, and our time was now limited to complete the work. The permit was already issued, we were 6 months into the project and in contract with another company for a fire suppressant system. We reached out to many contractors, most of whom did not return our calls. When we spoke with Green Group Remodeling, they scheduled a time to meet right away. The project managers (Adam and Tula) agreed to take on the project. They were determined to complete within the estimated time of four months, and navigated through the challenges of the previous contractors work as well as partnering with the fire suppressant company. Also, Olivia from Green Group Remodeling was very helpful in processing additional documentation through the city. In summary, this was not a typical project for a company to take over. Green Group Remodeling was willing to accept this challenge and start the project immediately. Their attention to detail and quality of work improved the outcome of the ADU. Our project manager, Tula, walked us through this process and was very transparent with the steps, details, and payment schedule of the project and also made helpful suggestions on how to save money. If I had a concern he always addressed it right away via call or text. We just wrapped up a remodel of 3 upstairs bathrooms, along with our laundry room and a couple storage nooks, and couldn't be happier with the work Green Group Remodeling did. As well as how quickly they got the job done. From the start, they responded quickly to our quote request, to when the work was happening, they were always available and willing to work with us when we had a couple of small changes along with way. Working with our project manager, Matan Schejter, was more than easy and a pleasure, and very easy to work with, especially when it gets a bit stressful making sure items are being delivered on time, etc. I can't speak highly enough of the crew that worked on the project. From the demo crew, to the plumbers, and the guys doing all the rest, they were top notch and super nice.
