That being said, the guy is great at what he does. Jim actively looked for ways to save me money. For example, he sharpened the blade and cleaned the air filter. Any other shop would have replaced both, resulting in a higher bill. Costs of small parts were included in the hourly rate. The only negatives were that he does not accept credit cards and I found his published operating hours to be a suggestion. Call ahead to make sure that he will be there and take adequate cash with you.

Total time at my house was maybe 15-25 minutes, and the bill came out to $429.70. The pricing alone was frustrating, but the bigger issue was the attitude and customer service throughout the visit. They continued to tell me the part was i guess on backorder. I was able to get the part delivered next day non-OEM. They only will use OEM parts. I told them i needed my lawnmower back and I'd do the work myself. They refused to refund my $60.00 deposit. So they ripped me off on top of everything. I guess it's true the saying goes "If you want something done right!". Long story short, I'm not going to be returning in the future.

Unfortunately, that was not reciprocated as we continued to experience poor service and questionable communication tactics (i.e. ambiguous, misleading, etc). We inspect what we expect, and we were not satisfied with the final product. Examples: - Sloppy edging - Uneven cutting - Failure to complete the task - Customer service mediocre (i.e. poor followthrough)
