This place is horrible. They served me an sub with green-blue fuzzy mold all over the bottom of the bun. I almost took a bite! Gross!! When I spoke to John the manager he swore at me using the F-word and said, and I quote, "I pay these kids $9.50 an hour so what you do expect to get?" I was shocked but then thought if they are pushing moldy old food then why not top it off with an unprofessional potty-mouthed owner. Eat here if you want old moldy food. We ordered pizza from this location for the first time tonight. We chose the delivery option out of convenience, though we live less than a mile away. The gentleman who answered the phone was very pleasant and offered us a run down of their specials. We chose two large pizzas for $21.99. We were told the pizza would be delivered at 7:00pm. It was 6:20 when we called. At 6:45 our doorbell rang, we were pleasantly surprised. A very complimentary gentlemen handed us our pizzas, he made polite conversation and was very professional. Our pizzas were piping hot and cooked to perfection. Plenty of cheese, loaded with toppings, crust was the perfect texture. My children had to let it cool in order to eat it...that has never happened with delivery before. I am a tough critic when it comes to pizza, as my family owned and operated a pizzeria. I oedered a pizza on line from green lantern because they said that you could get a free lantern bread if your offer was over 20.00. I added a salad to the order so that it was over $20.00. I entered the correct coupon code, and even wrote it in the instructions too make sure that they got it. Naturally they did not include the lantern bread. I called to discuss with Carley the manager and was never treated so rudely by anyone over the phone. The owner of the store did call back later to let me know that Caeley was his best customer service person. If she's the best, I would really hate tho deal with the others. And I won't. read more

Delicious pizza!! The pizza here is consistently great. We've had it several times since they opened several weeks ago and have yet to have anything but a great pizza. The pepperoni they use are awesome!! Pizza is similar to Jet's, but better in some ways. The only complaint I had is the first few times the wait times were much longer than quoted, but they seem to be improving on this. Cheese bread with garlic butter is amazing too!! Yea this is the real deal the same great pizza and all the good stuff you can get from the original 12 mile location which has stood for Quality for more than 50 years. You can get all your original 12 mile menu classic that have this Detroit original one of the must visit eateries in town. Go try the newest location. You will enjoy every bite. One side note I have noticed the menu at the 15 mile location has a bunch cool items that are quite tasty. So if you want to take the family out for some good eats try the place out. read more

Had never heard of this place before, but wanted to try it when it opened in Macomb. For my family of 4 it has been decided that this is the only pizza place that makes a pizza we can all enjoy. Generally, one person likes Jet's the best, another prefers Pizza Hut, etc. it always seems like someone has to settle. We all enjoyed this. The crust is more of a traditional crust - not deep dish, but not thin. Just the perfect texture. I like the sauce, and especially appreciate that they don't have a heavy hand with the sauce. As others have said, for whatever reason, this pizza seems more filling than others and I can never eat more than one slice. I highly recommend. read more

1st time ordering from the Romeo Plank location for a delivery... Ordered a round deep dish with 3 items, bill was around $24.. thought that was high but then found a $2 coupon for a total of $22 which also includes the delivery fee... Still gave a tip of course .. Pizza arrived still hot, sauce was great, items were generous.. If I had one small complaint, I would ask that next time, they make sure the thick crust is cooked a tad longer .. The thickest part seemed to be a lil bit doughy, but overall, an awesome pizza.. If you are feeding a family of 4-5, then I suggest ordering the x-lg deep dish.. very filling!! I was stuffed on one decent size pc!!! Will try the reg round next time we order.. Service was fast too.. from order-time to delivery to door, no more than 45 min.. read more

Three time we have ordered delivery pizza and all three times they have gone far past their delivery window. Today they are currently 1.5hours past delivery window. They claim they are understaffed as an excuse. Personally I would stop taking delivery orders if they are understaffed that day and not let customers wait an hour and a half for their order. I have been a pizza lover my whole life if it has cheese and pepperoni I am in love. This pizzeria is just something else though when I come in I feel like family. The staff is so friendly and this young man I see in there every time I come in stops everything to come say hi and help me with my order. Last time I came in was Super Bowl Sunday and the place was packed everyone was working so hard I had ordered a large square cheese and pepperoni, a small bread, 12pc chicken, and a large antipasto salad. The pizza was unbelievable perfectly cooked and Iove the pepperonis! The bread is literally to die for so cheesy and buttery. The boneless chicken tossed in the honey barbecue sauce also amazing! Last but not least the salad is so fresh and crisp the meats and cheese on the salads are cut daily I watch them all the time it's so good. All in all this is hands down the only place I'll be going to get my pizza from! read more

So I just moved into the area and decided to try Green Lantern. At first when I heard the price I kinda thought this place might be to rich for my blood. I paid 12.71 for a large cheese and pepperoni pizza ouch right. The pizza though was so good and cheesy and it even had the old style pepperoni the kind that charr on the edge and hold the grease for you my mouth is watering now over a week after having the pizza. It doesn't there the service was outstanding I walked in to the lobby and was greeted immediately by a young lady she was so kind and helpful. I was told my pizza would be another minute so I took a seat and a younger guy with glasses came up a minute later with my pizza he said he was the manager and apologized for the wait. To be honest I didn't feel like I waited at all but I appreciated the gesture. We ended talking and I told him I was new to the area and he pointed out all the good places to eat and go to in the area. Such a kind friendly place to come I'm so glad it's so close to my house.
