Another shady dealership that you should avoid at all costs. Contact the authorities and/or a lawyer if they end up scamming you on a car. Went to test drive a car that I saw advertised online but it was not available so they of course tried the old bait and switch on me. So I went along and test drove another car that they obviously were trying to get rid of. During the test drive, the salesperson was lying out of his teeth about certain noises and smells that the car obviously had and I was bringing up. Even after I called him out on his deceitful sales practices, he still tried his absolute hardest to scam me into buying a car from them. Only after I threatened to call the DMV and police (for keeping my driver's license hostage), he finally backed off. The owner Fawaz and his son even got involved and threatened to fight me. I made a video of what they did to me so if they do anything shady with my personal information/driver's license, I will have the owners arrested and his dealership shut down by the DMV. It's so sad to think how many vulnerable, lower-income people these crooks have probably scammed over the years by selling them junk cars. Btw, Fawaz, your son has the audacity to ask customers for positive reviews in exchange for a kickback. Illegal under FTC regulations btw. read more

When I called them, they told me to go to a shop, have a cheap used tire put on so I wouldn't have to drive on a donut, and promised to reimburse me later. Then they completely changed course and refused to pay the bill, saying it was 'too much' and only offering a tiny fraction of what a tire replacement costs. I was completely deceived. The car has major frame damage, the bumper was clearly replaced due to the paint color being completely different than the car, plus the paint bleeding down. I wasn't disclosed of a damage and supposedly they brought it to Mazda and they said it was completely fine. The majorly damage subframe would've been easily noticeable even to someone who doesn't know cars. Pretty messed up. That's gonna be a $3,000 bill for us. Also, the lower control arms need to be replaced which is another $1,600. Plus they promised me new hubcaps and never got back to me on that. read more

I had a terrible experience with Auto Green Light and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. After buying a car from them, I discovered a weird patch job in the trunk under the mat. A week later, the battery died. When I called, they offered to give me a used one -- but I live an hour away, and the gas it would take to get there and back was nearly the cost of a new battery. I ended up buying one for $200, and they only offered $120. Then the car started overheating. I brought it in at 9:30 AM and didn't get it back until nearly 4 PM. They claimed they fixed it by replacing the thermostat housing, but after I left, the car started making a ticking noise and even a loud helicopter-like sound from the engine noises that were never there before. When I brought it up, the mechanic actually tried to tell me the ticking noise was "normal." They offered to keep the car until Monday, but at that point, I didn't trust them at all. I should've taken the car to a real mechanic instead of relying on their useless "guarantee warranty." Please believe the negative reviews. This dealership is shady and not worth the risk. ‼‼UPDATE‼‼ They never mentioned paying to get my car fixed at a dodge dealership all you said was the mechanic would TRY to fix it. you also WANTED ME TO PAY HALF?! After YOUR mechanic messed my car up? after i saw your response i called to ask if you guys would take my car to the dodge dealership (called yesterday morning) you guys said you weren't sure if you could take it to the dodge dealership and would call me back to let me know and try to figure it out it's been 24 hrs and still no call back... lying in the response to make your side look good when now i have to pay out of pocket because you guys messed my car up! We found a car that looked perfect at a different dealership only to find that it "needed a few quick fixes" and that there were hidden "dealer fees" in the amount of $2500! So we walked off of that lot and stepped onto the lot at Green Light Auto. I had already spoken to Josh on the phone and he immediately greeted us and pulled out the Mazda 3 Grand Touring my daughter wanted to test drive. Josh was so informative and low key - a refreshing change from the stereotypical smarmy used-car salesman. He confirmed the internet price, my daughter signed the documents with Moe (great finance guy but we had our own credit union set) and we were on our way! start off with how this dealership is literally a piece of shit dealer. Believe when people leave bad reviews to how shitty their car quality is. At this point your better off buying a car from the streets then from them. so I got ' hooked up ' with a car that I wanted, low payments, low insurance payments, I should've known it was to good to be true. So 3 days after I left the lot w my car the thermometer started rising up and and my check engine light turned on. I noticed that the check engine light would turn on and off so I called the dealer and told them and I assumed maybe it was a sensor and that my car wasn't over heating since I didn't see any smoke. So whatever I left it at that, the 4th day comes and as I'm driving on the freeway the car starts over heating w ALOT of smoke. I call the dealership again because why would my ' new car ' be going through issues not even a week of having it. So they have ME tow the car to their dealership from Long Beach to Corona. So at this point I'm upset at the fact that my car is no longer working and I had to go through all this trouble. So one of the salesman sends me a voice message and asks me to do the dealership a favor and if the finance company calls me to do the verification on the car and how everything worked out if I could tell them that the car is in my possession and to not mention anything about the over heating or the engine problems. He told me not to worry about paying anything out of pocket for the damages that they would take care of everything ( mind you they sold me this car that came w the problems so why would i pay for anything anyways lol ) so at the point i already realized that they wanted to get their stupid ass check from the bank of $17k while i had no choice and deal w the car and its problems. Luckily I took someone who knew more about the certain rules and regulations that they must go by cause if not i would've been naïve and chose a different car. So the next morning comes and at this point I decide to show up to the dealership and let them know that im going to be canceling my contract. They kept trying to offer me another car but i kept being persistent on canceling which i am entitled to since it only had been ( 5 days ) before the owner got there we called the finance to let them know everything that was going on, turned out my finance papers weren't even submitted so they were able to cancel everything and not process them no check. Once we made the owner aware that we had already called the finance department he went from 0 to 100 real quick and started ranting about how i was still going to have to pay 50 % for the damages that was done to the piece of shit car that he sold to me LOL the audacity of some of these people. When I told him i just wanted my down payment back he tried to say he wasn't entitled to return any of my money to me. Because he didn't receive his 17k for that stupid car he thinks hes gonna keep some dusty 1,500. I already filed a complaint w the Dmv Inspector and just like they told me by law he's gonna write me a check for the 1,500 i gave. Point is DONT BUY any car from this piece of shit dealer. At least let the dmv inspector go do their job first i can guarantee maybe 2 cars out of the 60 they have are in good condition. Save yourself the time ! read more

This place is a SCAM do not buy anything from here my husband bought a truck here and not even a month later the truck completely shut down didn't work wouldn't turn on or anything we only drive the truck about 9 times. we brought it back bc it had warranty for 90 days after purchasing. The warranty was whatever the cost is to fix any issues with the truck the dealer and owner pay 50 /50, so we talk to the owner about fixing the truck and he wanted nothing to do with it he said it wasn't his problem and that he was too busy to help us. After weeks and weeks of asking for help he decided he would help us after the warranty has expired !!!! He said it was too big of a job for his mechanic to fix and to take it somewhere else and he would still pay 50/50 so we did. We eventually found someone who would fix it for the cheapest price and it came out to $5500 keep in mind we only paid $7500 for the truck, anyways when we brought the invoice back to the dealership to show him how much it was gonna cost he said that was fine and to go along with it so we did holding he would keep his word and WARRANTY, then it comes time to pay and he avoids us at all costs and eventually tells us to fuck off and that he's not helping and that he could care less read more

I have had the car a year. I have had the crank and cam sensor fixed, fuse panel, brakes, tires,instrument cluster, and battery replaced all in the 16 months I have had the Volkswagen. The trunk does not open unless you pull the lever and have some one pull the trunk simultaneously. I would not refer anyone, not even my enemy to Green Light Auto.Sales men where nice Owner alright.
