Came for their Wednesday rnb happy hour from 7 to 9. The happy hour only included about 3 drinks, and no food so we were disappointed in that fact. We did end up ordering food... the fried fish and shrimp was DELICIOUS. I will say, after about 9pm, this place was jumping and packed. It turns more into a club environment. The djs played all the hits, and the crowd had a great time. We stayed until 1am I would definitely come back, just not for "happy hour". If you want to come for the party, I would get here by 830, because seating is very minimal. read more

SERVICE. CUSTOMER SERVICE. 1st time here. Food is good. Service is the worst service I've had since my Dallas stay. Customer Service should really be at the forefront of restaurants/lounges. Especially when they're not busy. The bartender was absolutely horrible. Not friendly. Took 10'mins to greet us and get our drinks. Then made us the wrong drinks. Mind you it's EASTER and there's maybe 8 ppl at the bar. All The other staff is just standing around, on their phones. Ordered food. Asked for tartar sauce & hot sauce. She said ok.... 15 mins later she comes back over and we asked again; she got some from right under the bar.... Yeah, this was the weirdest experience ever. I came to a birthday party and discovered Hyde and Seek. They have parking available but most of it is paid parking. It was my first time there, and I have to say I was pretty impressed. They threw a day party which was great for me because I'm over 40 so I still got to go to bed at a decent hour. I also appreciate that security does not play, so I felt very safe. They came correct with the music. The upstairs bar has a whole vibe. I don't know if they have an elevator but if you were out of shape, be prepared to walk up quite a few steps. The upstairs bar for the grown and sexy. They have another club downstairs. That's for the youngsters. The wait staff did a great job even though our party had over eight people in it. To drink, I got the old dirty. It was their version of the old-fashioned and it was quite tasty. I got the catfish to eat and I really enjoyed it. They had nice sized fillets and the fries were fresh. The longer we were at the establishment, they had different djs, come play music, my only feedback would be to have the DJ's compare notes because we heard some songs two or three times in a four hour period but if you like good music, good food and want to hang out with your people this is the spot to go. read more

Came here Saturday, for a day party (RSVP for a table), with a friend and we had an enjoyable time! Parking was quick and easy to get in the venue. The aesthetic is very nice and the vibes amazing! Our waitress, Bri, was top notch and such a sweetheart! We ordered drinks to start - blacker the berry - and enjoyed these, a great balance. For food, we both ordered the fried catfish and my friend ordered a side of mac n cheese. I can say the food was delicious and fish fried how we liked! Definitely try the fish if you ever come here. What an absolutely horrible experience. I have never been treated so rudely. The only thing that was good about this place was a nice looking cowboy at the front that was checking IDs and provided security. The place was totally empty yet they would not allow us to even order a drink. The female bartender was extremely rude and told us we couldn't sit down after the lady that was at check in said we could sit down until 5. They said to try the patio bar when it was 100 degrees in Texas but we wanted to give them a fair shot. It was miserable, hot and sticky. We tried to order a French martini and couldn't get that! They have an extremely limited bar outside! Only simple drinks like gin and tonic or pre made margaritas. You know it's bad when all 3 ladies we sat next to sent their drinks back. They said the margaritas were way too sweet. All I wanted to do was leave and I WOULD NEVER go back! Rude! Unprofessional! Oh and expect to pay for parking. Valet is $20 or you may be able to find a paid parking lot spot for $12. read more

My first time at Seek wasn't bad. This is 35 and under crowd. I loved how the restaurant was decorated. ! The moment you step inside, the décor and atmosphere feel upscale, artsy, and inviting. I'll be honest I was biased before coming here. I had heard some not so great reviews and had already decided I wasn't going to this place. However we were leaving the Statler and almost walked right past it, so we decided to stop in. First things first, I don't understand needing to show ID, having my purse checked and being wanded for a restaurant/lounge. A club? Yes, so I was a little confused on what kind of place this was. But I'm all for safety so I was cool with it. The aesthetic here is so cute, the decor is nice and the place is clean and has a large space. We walked to the bar and saw no seats open so we went to a high top. We were stopped by a waitress who advised we needed to see the hostess.. I looked around and said "what hostess?" Because there was no one there. We went over to the stand and stood around for a while. Several other couples came in and did the same thing. When you see a large bar and high tops, you usually assume open seating. Eventually the hostess showed up and was able to get us seated. The cocktail menu looked really good! I got the Hyde and my wife got the seek. Both drinks were very similar but tasty. We decided to order a hookah and another young lady approached to take the order. We had to pay immediately for the hookah which I thought was strange since we already had a bill with our drinks. It took quite awhile to get the hookah, so we sat back and enjoyed the DJ. The music was GREAT! Awesome DJ playing a good mix of music. The vibe overall was lively and everyone was having a great time. Eventually the hookah came and I will say, it hit very well! They didn't have a ton of flavors, but it was well made and we got great pulls. We didn't order food but from what I could see everyone was ordering the shrimp and catfish! It looked really good and we will definitely try the food next time. Overall Seek was a good experience! I would definitely come back here for a girls night. The food was delicious, and the vibes were fun with a chill ambiance, and the service was exceptional especially considering how busy and hype it was in there. Does and last time coming here. The place was beautiful however the service was trash and the music was loud AF I couldn't even hear my date as he was sitting beside me so we can communicate with each other better. Not only that our waiter was nowhere to be found, turn around she was chit chatting with guys and the drinks my table ordered were just sitting at the bar for 30min. At the end of the night our waiter pulls up my table and charged me $48 for Hot wings I didn't order or eat & 2 drinks when I ordered 1. The funny part is when i questioned her about the $48 she looked at me stupid and I told her to remove the wings & 1 drink she rolled her eyes and had an attitude. Hmmm came here to watch the game with friends and it was just ok. Nice ambiance but the service was not good and the lady never came back to our table. I didn't eat food here but my friends had brunch and said it was decent. The Cadillac Margarita was very sweet and they do not take drinks back so we had to buy shots on the side to make it better!! We were the First people there for brunch but they were not ready for the day. It's beautiful inside but the service doesn't match. Mimosas served in a wine glass with room temperature prosecco for $50/bottle is ridiculous! They ran out of glasses and gave my sister a Christmas glass. The service and ambiance here were neck and neck for the most valuable part of my visit last night! Our server, Bambi, was extremely kind and accommodating. She answered all of our questions and shared her recommendations! The DJs were both phenomenal and made it hard to leave after being there for a couple hours. The food was good, especially the fries. Drinks were yummy! Our hookah lady took her job very seriously, making sure my friends had a good time with their merch. I would highly recommend Seek, as it's a kickback vibe and where the dining happens. As it gets later, heading to Hyde is key. I would've given five stars if the drinks and meals weren't so expensive; but part of me understands that's just life in Dallas. read more

So Seek is not a restaurant experience. It's a glorified bar that kinda severs food if your waitress comes to you in a timely manner. I waited 20 minutes for a drink and it was gross. If you're looking for a bar with food and hookah then this is your place but this is not a restaurant. read more

Went here to watch the game, nice bar with A lot of TVs!!! Which is a plus! The service was nice and the staff were great and tentative!! My only complaint is that the High Top tables, are too high for "counter" height stools (that y'all use). In which a shorter person will have trouble eating/reaching their food. I'm 5'6 and the chair was too low. So it's you're sitting below the table. Please if you're going to have high tables, you need "bar stools" not counter top stools. This was also hurting my back, so I stood to eat. read more
