So I have never used a relocating or moving company myself before. If I every did need to move anything I would have family and friends to help me out, but with this time being a lot more things to move to Southern California, I decided to go ahead and to book a moving service. I actually had a coworker who recommended this company to me and how great her experience and the service was. Being my first time working with a moving company, I was nervous, of course, for my belongings being in the hands of strangers and being out of sight of them for a few days. Thankfully, the whole crew that helped me with the move were just absolutely professional, kind, and careful with my belongings. They kept me in the loop if I had any questions and I only had to wait for a few days to get my things here in SoCal which was great!! These movers came in with one of the lower rates but I guess there is a reason why. Terrible service. I paid for 3 movers but only 2 were really working. The one guy who wasn't could barely lift anything and was on his second smoke and phone call break in less than 40 minutes of job start which was a constant with him. I'm pretty sure this same guy is the one who did the most damage to my stuff including putting a hole in the wall of my brand new refinished home. 2 of the guys were nice and seemed really hard working but this guy ruined it for me and is probably the one who could care less about peoples possessions. read more

I definitely do not recommend this company. We chose them becsuse the rates were reasonable and they were located close the our starting point during our cross country move. The communication was very ineffective as I was not given the amount I would need to pay the day of service. It was also not communicated to me that you need to provide tape for the moving blankets to be secured to your furniture or pay an up charge. I also informed the movers the drop off address was incorrect and they said ya they'll deal with that later, to which it never was and I was receiving calls from the driver the morning of drop off at 7 am saying my address didn't exist. On the way of loading our furniture it was clear from the start that the movers were going to take advantage of the situation and try to upsell me in every way possible because I (female) was there by myself. The immediatly started telling me I needed to provide tape or pay $4 per roll. I did not have any so I opted to pay their fee because I had no other choice. These movers were using tape like they were getting a bonus per roll. They somehow managed to rack up a $100 tape bill yet my items are still damaged. They also continuously tried to upsell me saying boxes and items I had packed weren't done well enough and they needed to repack them with their stuff at an upcharge or it was going to break. They also insisted that my fridge needed to have all the shelves and drawers taken out and packed as well so they wouldn't break. I've never heard of this before and we have done a cross country move before, did not take them out and it was perfectly fine. I heard them drop multiple heavy items numerous times as well. They did not disassemble my furniture like they said they would. My dining room set went on the truck intact. When we got to my children's rooms they said it was a good thing I took down the toddler bed and crib as they wouldn't touch those nor would they be putting them back together. I was very confused since during my quote I was assured my furniture would be taken apart and put back together and the company we used prior had no problem doing so. Drop off was no better. The driver was arguing over the amount left to pay because again communication is absolutely a downfall at this company and I had a discount on all my quotes but not my final numbers and I wanted clarification. He told me no you pay now or I'm not dropping off your stuff (less than $500 was left to be paid and he had driven my stuff from Maryland to Colorado). I opted to pay through zelle since that's one of their options to avoid fees and he told me to just zelle it to his number. I told him I would rather zelle it to the company directly and he kept insisting it was fine to just send it to him (the driver) instead. He finally gave me the company info and I paid. There was obviously no regard for any markings I had out on boxes as fragile boxes were at the bottom of piles, boxes that had up written on them with arrows came upside down, and tons of boxes were completely smashed from having heavy items placed on top of them. The movers not only damaged my personal items but also my home. I found two spots on two different doorways where they broke the trim (one is pretty sizeable). I did speak with the company about the communication issues and they did agree that it was not usual and not ok. However I did email them about the damage to my home and items (I'm still unpacking and finding more daily) and did not receive a response back. Ok. Emptying storage unit today. I went with this moving company since they emailed me the day of and called me the day after I requested moving quotes on line. They gave me time to digest and ponder all the other quotes. My sales agents were Victor the Awesome and Krystal of PDF Signature--Renowned for Attention to Detail. Radu, Gocha and Eugen were assigned as my crew. What a GREAT TEAM!! I can truthfully say that I have never, in 30 years of moving, had a more team oriented, professional, personable group of relocating specialists----EVER! Received a quote from someone at office, had date in request. Spoke to office and confirmed the deposit with a credit card, received receipt and move scheduled. A few days later, contacted me back saying "The day was full and the pricing would be at least $10 more per hour; or I could move to another day." I called back to discuss as I was confirmed. Tracie connected me to the manager Jerry, who was very rude and condescending: ---the quote was wrong, and the employee is new (training issue, NOT my problem as the customer). ---the day was full with moves, so higher pricing (scheduling issue, NOT my problem as the customer). ---we will give you the same price for another day of choosing (making this my problem to re-schedule). Completely unprofessional, and no way to run a business. I paid a $100 deposit July 11th and decided to use another business a couple hours later. I contacted Alex and he told me Finance would return $50 of my deposit and keep $50 for "processing" As of today I have not received my money and I am now unable to speak to anyone. I demand my hard earned money back that they stole. I am willing to take this as far as they want me to. I have contacted the BBB and will continue until I get what is mine. Alex was really friendly initially until I changed my mind about using them and then he was extremely NASTY. I want the entire DMV to know about this company. They told me the pick up time is between 1-3 pm, they came by 4 pm. I was almost going to miss my flight and they don't answer their phone cause they know your name, they just ignore you. Specially victor. The guys who picked my stuff were very nice and friendly in Baltimore. I give them that. I actually tipped them. The guy who dropped my stuff gave me only 2 times for drop off, and I have to move my appointments in order to get my stuff from them. He wasn't flexible at all. And we didn't agree on a time before. And he told me if I don't choose between these 2 times he won't drop my Stuff. When he came he wanted me to pay cash !!! Which we never agreed on, we talked about paying 10% at the beginning, 40% at pick up and the rest at delivery. They charged me 3% extra for using my credit card at delivery. When he came, he made me pay 150$ extra cause he says that my apartment is away from the elevators which is something not mentioned before, and no agreement on that at all. Victor made him wait on the phone for an hour to charge me extra but I refused to pay. He threatened me that he won't unload my stuff and that he will put them on a storage. WORSE MOVERS EVER The three men that sent for our move today were awful.  They stood outside our house cursing at each other. They continued the cursing act at the entire time they were at Goodwill. They refused to take our bagged items to Goodwill. I have not known any mover to not take bagged items . This policy should be explained on your website. But wait there is no website. The foreman would not wrap up our glass table unless we paid him and I quote " $30 or $40.00 dollars".  Also one of the workers coughed and I saw secretion fly through the air because he did not have a mask on. The foreman did not wear a mask either. I am going to place reviews of this mishap on Yelp. Better Business Bureau, and every website I can find. The unprofessionalism displayed by these men was monumental. No more business with Greenline. THESE people your company hires are totally unprofessional. My move was a really simple one. I moved a two bedroom apartment from one area of Baltimore to another. The movers were all very professional and efficient. There were no hidden charges associated with my move and they discussed with me any additional charges that could occur before they started. In my case, they used several roles of tape to wrap up my furniture in blankets to protect it (they charged for the tape but use of the blankets was free). They were in and out in just a few hours and did a great job checking with me to make sure they packed everything they needed to. As a bonus, I ended up being charged less than I was quoted because the move took less time than expected. I did not have to point this out to the moving team (they let me know when going over the charges at the end). I received quotes from a large number of moving companies and I found that their prices are competitive. I admit that there was not much opportunity for them to mess up with my move because it was so short and easy. Still, I can safely reccomend them for simple moving jobs and I would use them again! read more

My service in the beginning started off OK. I had a problem with the price changing upon arrival. Once my belongings reached their location my $5000 bed, mattress torn, wood chipped, dishes broken, workers very unprofessional, one of the movers had on flip-flops. And took his shoes off in my apartment. I would recommend them to anyone. To make matters worse upon arrival they refused to put my belongings in my apartment until I gave them an additional $150 because they didn't wanna walk from the curb to the elevator. Every day as I unpacked my five more flaws I am broken items I have screws in the floor missing from some part of my furniture that I have yet to be revealed. Do not let this company touch your belongings. This has been a total nightmare for my husband and I. When the movers arrived it seemed everything was going well. There were three men to move our two bedroom apartment. This is where we made our first and maybe most crucial mistake; we did not watch them. We sat in the spare bedroom with our cat as he was frightened by all of the commotion. When we did come out we advised of a couple fragile items (family heirlooms and irreplaceable pieces) that were also marked "FRAGILE" with a note by myself. While one was packing up the bathroom we were advised that they cannot take liquids, sealed or not. Wasn't happy about this but okay, it's in your contract, got it. I advised them to please leave the items they can't take where they are and I would pack them up myself. So TELL ME HOWWW cleaning supplies, nail polishes, perfumes, and other LIQUID ITEMS were thrown in boxes with everything else. Subsequently they of course spilled and ruined other items in the boxes. The movers were also advised that since most of our spare bedroom was still in boxes but not in good condition boxes, to go ahead and repack into green line boxes. This action was not taken and in fact they USED OUR BOXES to pack additional items in! Then get this- Upon arrival to California, they send ONE MOVER!! Our couches are easily over 350 pounds each as they are all recliners. There is no way humanly possible for one 40 plus year old man to move this by himself. So, of course, my husband had to assist with his bad back/knee. Which we provided the company photo evidence of, remarkably, they don't care. The mover himself was lovely but unfortunately that does not change the fact that we did not receive what we paid for which was a "professional" pack and move. Come unpacking time- we are unwrapping totally warped, dinged, scratched, gashed, ripped furniture. In NO way is this how our furniture left that apt. Every single thing we own; wood dining table corner crunched, chair legs split, wood bed frame gashed and scratched, tears in couch, entertainment center warped, mattress folded in half and taped together has a giant hump in the middle now, husbands xbox one crushed, antique vanity table with triple side by side mirrors half inch thick expensive mirrors custom glass completely split 2/3 right down the center (irreplaceable, destroyed. Also marked fragile), antique mirror with stand leg fell right off, split into three pieces AND THAT IS JUST THE FURNITURE. Unpacking these "professionally packed" boxes was a whole other story. Kitchen items mixed with bathroom items mixed with bedroom items mixed with clothing. How does that even happen?! We opened one box to find all of our knives in our knife block sticking straight point up at us, they taped a $200 ball gown to the top of a box which promptly ripped the dress upon opening, liquids were packed and obviously spilled, small items (breakable and not) were simply thrown in the bottom of boxes, there was NO organization to this whatsoever, boxes were delivered punctured and dented, a lamp was delivered in a box that was not even sealed with a piece of tape running across the top. Now the fun part- getting greenline to file a claim; we called right away to get this taken care of on the day of open business (as they delivered on a weekend yet aren't open on weekends, makes a lot of sense) anywho, we called and filed a claim with an accompanying 50 plus pictures to support the claim. Were told we would hear from someone when they got done investigating. Jump to present, it has been about two months, in the interim we have had to file this magical disappearing claim not once, not twice, but THREE times our claim has simply disappeared with no record of filing. Not to mention that to get a hold of anyone is like pulling teeth. Easily 5 phone calls to their 1 email. This third time we reached what we think (?) is a manager of some sort who said she agrees with us that this is an absolute disgusting display of ineptitude on their part but cannot do anything but pass along the information to their insurance company who, by the way, coincidentally will not even LOOK at our claim about the boxes due to the movers packing in our own boxes. Even tho there are still existing boxes of their own that are in complete devastation, that is apparently no matter. In addition to all the above, I see the absolute ASTOUNDING example of unprofessionalism displayed by this company on any review that is less than favorable. I am totally floored that they would allow you in front of any keyboard that transmits representation for this company to the world not to mention to speak to your own customers that way? How about providing a viable solution instead of inciting arguments with customers whose belongings were just destroyed? I contracted with Lopez Movers who stated on the day of the move that their truck broke down and that they would be out later in the afternoon. Movers came out and began to load up the truck as I was signing the paperwork when I noticed that Lopez movers sent out Green Line Relocation to move me out of my apartment. Lopez Movers claimed that Green Line Relocation were their affiliates and would do a good job. I noticed that the movers who were respectful but were very tired out, hadn't eaten all day and apparently were abused by their employer since they were rushing around like they were afraid of repercussions because in their haste they broke my expensive armoire, mirrors, my new apartment's lighting fixtures, tore my sleep number bed along with some other items that I won't mention in this review. ***** DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY ***** My husband and I relocated from Baltimore MD to Las Vegas NV middle of July 2016. This company (Green Line Relocation and Systems) contacted us from the internet just like 20 other companies did to sell how their company is the best in relocation. Per reviewing the company on Better Business Bureau (A) rating and per Federal Motor Carrier Saftey Administration ((https://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/hhg/search.asp)) showing only 1 complaint per year and that they are an actual carrier company and not a 3rd party my husband and I decided to hire this company to move us cross country. The initial set up was great in speaking with sales associate/manager Crystal. She advised of the total costs and charges, fees, etc to expect. (We paid half our fee $1400 of $2,700 to Crystal) she also advised my husband and I to find an apartment complex in Las Vegas, NV that accepts 53 Foot Trailers. We finally did at Canyon Villas in Summerlin NV. I immediately called Crystal on July 18, 2016 at 9:30am West Coast Time to advise we found an apartment complex that accepts 53 foot trailers. She called us about 5 days later advising the truck will deliver our furniture around dates July 30- Aug 2nd. The truck driver called us on July 29 2016 stating he will deliver our belongings on July 30, 2016. The truck driver shows up today (July 30 2016) around 1:15-1:30pm and stops at the entrance. He gets out the truck and advises my husband he can't make it thru the complex in the truck and we need to pay him $300.00 now to shuttle our belongings. We immediately advise him there is a back entrance. He drives the truck to the back and makes his way about 150 feet from our apt complex door (Measured with Tape). Vladimir still wants $300.00 to shuttle our belongings. Per contract the first 75 feet is free then any additional 75 feet costs $75.00, I advised him we would pay $75.00 for the additional 75 feet. He gets upset and states we owe $300.00... hmmm Hustle Much! I advised him we are not giving him $300.00 to move our belongings and we will give the $75.00 additional per contract. Long story short they leave with our belongings. I immediately speak to the Owner and his Wife, we end up only paying an additional $75.00, they came the next day to deliver at 1:00pm and did not leave til 10:00pm. Because we did not pay (I Refused to Pay) $300.00 the 1 driver would not move our furniture and made the other guy move in all our belongings (reason the move took over 8 hours to complete). I thought that was down right rude to treat his employee that way. There are other things that happened during this move that I did not mention and will leave that for our lawyers. This has been the worst moving experience I have ever had with any moving company. We signed a contract for a cross-country move and had all of our stuff packed by the movers. The items packed included a brand-new $300 printer and a $500 flat-screen TV. The movers packed the TV in bubble wrap and a blanket with a free box that was included with the move. They also packed the printer in a blanket as well as their own box, which I paid for. When they finally delivered the items a week later than expected, the movers unpacked everything and left. When I finally got to unpacking the TV it looked perfectly fine, but when I plugged it in, it was cracked on the inside. The printer was broken as well. When I called the claims department they said they would take care of it. I never heard back from them or got any response until I called them several more times. Seven months after the initial move, they now claim because I did not unpack every single box with the movers still waiting and plug in all the electronics and check for damage, that I am solely liable for any broken items. I now have to file a civil suit against the company and take out more of my valuable time to fight them on replacing my stuff. You can tell because these reviews have no real photos of the consumers claiming this is a great company! My move on 07/30/2016 was a horrible experience. My wife explained everything in the previous review. GreenLine Relocation claims they have tried to have been helpful and reach out to my wife and I for resolution. That is a COMPLETE LIE! We have reach out to his horrible company for over 1 Year (July 2016 to December 2017) with no response to certified letters we have sent or emails we have sent until we failed them on a Yelp Review in DECEMBER 2017. Once they saw the Yelp review then they made contact via 1 email on 12/29/2017 and expected my wife to reply back immediately without a Legal Consult. In their 1 email they express that they do not like to leave moves on bad terms and ask what will it take to make this move right. We have responded back to their 1 email on 01/17/2018 advising of our terms/ payment for damages and hospital bill, plus we sent another certified letter explaining our terms/ what it will take to make our account satisfied. They email us back on 02/03/2018 stating this is our only and final offer offering us only $500 for damages to all our broken items plus our hospital bill (Wife Got Hurt During Move) if we agree to change our Yelp Review to a positive review. Are you kidding me! So is this Hush Money? What about actually being apologetic for hurting my wife? What about being apologetic for our horrible experience with our move? What about honoring your contract and paying for our damaged items? You claim you given my wife and I numerous discounts that came at a loss for GreenLine but have yet to send us a COMPLETE ACCOUNTING OF ALL DISCOUNTS APPLIED TO OUR MOVE. WE HAVE ASKED FOR THIS REQUEST FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS TO SEND US A COMPLETE ACCOUNTING OF ALL DISCOUNTS APPLIED AND WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANYTHING YET. Not only did they destroy a bunch of our things, THIS COMPANY STOLE FROM US. So far, we've found that that we're missing almost $1k in tools alone. To try to protect our belongings we packed most of our things in heavy duty plastic bins. Our stuff was handled so poorly, most of these bins were DESTROYED by the time we received them. As they were unpacking all of our stuff from the truck, they are stacking crushed boxes so high on the dolly, my stuff was bing dropped and broken as they are bringing it into the house. I can't even imagine how they treated things when the customer isn't watching. Lots of hidden fees, actual move was close to 3 times the estimate, won't return calls or make it right. Michelle hung up on me cause she did not want to address my complaint. She Literally told me she was tired of me! They take no accountability. This is a Bait and switch BS company. They gave me one quote and then doubled it when I had 60% less items the. I originally did when they quoted. The moves left trash and food all over my house then scratched up the floors in my new house cause they did not put runners on the floor. The movers are unprofessional they literally sat around for 14 hours and did nothing unless they saw me coming then they would hop up quick. They sat in the truck most of the time. When my furniture arrived it's was damaged, broken, items just thrown in boxes, nothing labeled it was a mess. The moves on the receiving end was embarrassed and wrote a statement it was so bad. Then they overcharged me for weight that I did not have, refused to reassemble my furniture! How do you break a bed! They broke my freakin bed! My experience was absolutely horrible. I would not recommend this company at all. I was nickeled and dimed on fees and wound in being charged 50% more than I was originally quoted. When I had a issue with the long walk fees and mentioned that I wanted to talk to a manager about it, the "owner" (who never even mentioned his name) called me back, yelled at me, and threatened to tell the drivers leave with my items and that I would never see them again if I didn't sign a form saying I would not dispute the fees immediately. I am sure they have done this to other customers as well. I pay for movers to eliminate stress and they wound up causing me more grief than I've ever experienced with any movers I've worked with before. PLEASE do not use this company! After they emailed me an estimate, I called to book the move and they had no record of the estimate, so they asked me to send it to them. That was the first red flag. They called at 8:30 on the day of the move to say they would be there by 9:30, but they showed up at 10:30. Heads up: they provide as may blankets as necessary to cover your furniture free of charge, but they charge you $3.50 for each roll of tape needed to secure the blankets (they use dozens of rolls of tape). Any type of glass gets charged extra (that was not explained earlier either). The three movers who came complained multiple times about how much "stuff" I have, even though I gave an accurate inventory. My biggest complaint was that they basically didn't care about my things. I had multiple glasses and pieces of china broken, even though they were packed in bubble wrap and special dish packs. I did not purchase additional insurance, but they are now saying I probably won't be reimbursed the measly $.60/per pound on the things that were broken, because I packed them. I didn't even mention the large piece of glass that was broken when the mover leaned on it with his knee as he was trying to wrap it, or the large piece of plexiglass that was cracked in multiple places as well. My wooden furniture was shoved across the rough surface of the truck liftgate which damaged the bottom and feet of almost everything. I had to pay extra because they took longer than expected. It didn't help that one of the movers was sick and also spoke no English, so "living room" and "bedroom" meant nothing when I was trying to tell them where things went. I unwrapped most of the covered furniture myself just to save time and money. I also cleaned up their mess as they left tape rolls and used tape everywhere. Movers were late. Andre and his partner were very professional, the main office, however, was not. There was tons of misinformation floating around and tons of unanswered questions. Sheila is highly incapable of answering questions reasonably and professionally. Crystal tried her best but was not much help. CONSUMER BEWARE! Green Line Relocation and Systems damaged, lost and soiled our property during a long distance move and has denied our entire claim erroneously. Green Line Relocation and Systems (1583 Sulphur Springs Rd., Unit 119, Baltimore, MD 21227) caused damage, loss and soiling to our household items during our move. Michele, the salesperson stated that we would not need additional insurance.Our documentation of the damage includes: 1. The pick-up inventory, completed by Green Line employees, that shows no damage to items on the claim at the point of origin. 2. The delivery inventory, completed by Green Line employees, noting the damage, loss and soiling to our household items upon delivery. 3.We personally witnessed Green Line employees causing damage and soiling to our items during the delivery and noted these instances to the delivery supervisor. We were present for the entire 11 hour packing day and although it initially was well orchestrated, the 4-5 workers and their supervisors fatigued and we later learned in unpacking that their level of care deteriorated by day's end. The delivery crew consisted of only three men. One was the driver/supervisor. The second was a Green Line employee on this first day on the job. The third was a casual laborer who arrived on a bicycle and was hired by the hour by Green Line that morning from Craig's List. All were admirably hard workers, but the supervisor rarely left the truck and the others were inexperienced. As such, we observed much of the damage and soiling being inflicted on our household goods throughout the day and reported it to the supervisor who had difficulty communicating with the first day employee who spoke little English. At the end of the delivery, we also noted the absence of a large antique mirror. My husband asked to go on the truck to look for it. Although he did not find the mirror, he found a large Asian porcelain artwork that was busted; it was one of a pair. When questioned the driver said that he was going to note it. The supervisor took notes and told us to file a claim and left us with a delivery inventory with notations. Upon delivery and in unpacking, we noted other missing items (all of our masterbedroom bedding), damages due to lack of wrapping or placing heavy items on fragile ones. All of this was photo-documented and sent to Green Line with our claim along with an email with suggestions to avoid unnecessary damage and soiling due to employee fatigue and lack of experience/training in moving. We submitted the four page claim by email to Viktor of Green Line on June 3, 2020 and as required included photos of all of the damage. When not responded to, we contacted the office and was told that Viktor no longer worked there and they did not have the claim. We were directed to communicate with Crystal and resubmitted the claim on June 22, 2020. After numerous phone calls and emails, Crystal referred us to Mark and then said he couldn't help us as he was only a sales rep. On Sept. 24, she sent an email stating our claim was denied in full stating that the items that were listed were also listed as damaged on pick up. We responded that this was entirely untrue and that we have the inventories to prove same. On October 5, we requested the owner (Diana Bruma) contact us but she has We have since called the owner who will not take our calls. Today we were told that the owner doesn't handle claims and won't take our call. We stated that we will file complaints and the employee said "Go ahead and do that." We had a million dollar home with beautiful furnishings that were damaged, soiled, lost/stolen and the Green Line refuses to communicate with us after falsely denying our claim. Our move cost over $6000 and our damages and losses are substantial. We have hit a dead-end with Green Line and are left with only this option to file a complaint at a higher level and hope to prevent others from falling prey to their unethical practices. read more

I forgot the movers name, but one of them was from Moldova. They both were very professional, and made my first move ever seem like a breeze. To save money, I asked for a move that consisted solely of only moving our large bulky furniture and a couple large boxes. Green Line obliged and not only did a solid job moving in an efficient and prompt manner. 2 guy showed up (a bit early) and were professional with a solid work ethic. I have used Green Line Relocation company twice. Once to move out of previous 5 bed room home into an apt and storage facility in Dec 2016 and then again from the apt with previous stored 5 bed room furniture etc into a new home this past 4/29. I have never had to relocate on such a large scale so as a new bee went to this company first because of the customer service, reviews and availability. I had 4 guys who helped me (Andre being the common denominator) both times. Both times the fellas were very accommodating - at times a language barrier with Andre's associates which posed a problem when it came time to separating and delineating the boxes. I have to say, given the magnitude of he project , they did good work both times however, they do not come cheap despite me getting the full package. It was almost never the quoted price and both times at least a 750-1000$ more after they totaled the additional hours and driving time. Additionally , they only had a 28 ft long truck in their fleet which poses a problem when you are moving a 4 bed room house and it's 4 occupants furniture, kitchen , etc - this posed a problem as the most recent project had to be split up as the truck had to make 2 rounds and that involved an hr drive each way from new house back to the old house - had they had a larger truck we could have moved everything in one swoop - I paid heavily for that company's short coming and am not pleased. I did speak with the company's liasion before booking and I conceded to getting this truck since we were on a time crunch and they were familiar with the amount Of furniture and layout. I will also say as professional as they were and I don't particularly mind the smoking when we were out and about at the storage facility but they were smoking on my premises and then left the cigarette butts on my driveway. I would recommend this company and as with any company you have to stay on top of them -and specifically Andre - he drives his associates and is extremely motivated. read more

I had an awful and painful experience with Green Line. I was harassed by the movers, and when I called a friend for backup, the harassment turned into threats. The movers damaged my furniture, failed to move some of it from my old house, and dumped everything in the garage of my new place without assembling it. I ended up losing my couch in the old place and I'll have to hire another company to move my stuff from the garage and assemble it. On top of this, I was overcharged by Green Line! As a single mother, I was asked by one of the movers if I had a "sugar daddy" because I was "too pretty." I felt so uncomfortable that I had to call my friend for backup. When my friend arrived, the drivers mocked us because of his Muslim name, and yelled versus from the Bible at us. They threatened to drive off with my furniture if I didn't pay them before unloading - and even when i paid them they just dropped it all in the garage and forgot some key parts in their truck. This was a very painful experience for me. I do not recommend this company at all. I stand by my statement that the movers were prejudice, unprofessional and were completely out of line. I am suing the company as well as filling an official complaint and I will see you in court read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had. First: took 10 minutes to find tape on MY TIME. Mind you they are paid by the hour. Second: only one of the two movers they sent was working. The other was busy trying to get my neighbors number and on his phone. Then they only moved 30% of my stuff and left the rest for me to move attempting to take longer by boxing other things and charging me for boxes and tape. They drove super slow then got to my new apartment, broke my coffee table and cracked my dresser. Scratched all of my furniture then up charged me by $200 from my original quote (while also trying to talk to my neighbors, being loud on the phone and complaining when I asked them to hurry because it took them 5 hours just to pack 2 couches and a bed). I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. MOST UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD. DONT GET MOVERS FROM THIS COMPANY. NOT TO MENTION THAT THEY WONT LET YOU PUT IN A CLAIM TO THE COMPANY BECAUSE APPARENTLY ITS CLOSED AND THE ONE PERSON HAS COVID. read more

We recently moved from Rockville to Howard County MD with Green Line Relocations. They were great from estimate through follow-up and moving day as scheduled. Our agent, Victor, gave us a fair estimate (beating a few others!) and final costs came under estimate. Our movers, George and Andre, did a nice job and were very courteous throughout. Moving daughter to NY from MD for school. Instead of carting up everything ourselves (the modest equivalent of a studio apartment) we decided to go with a moving company. I had used companies like this for work related moves before and they were professional and honest. Greenline is not. The estimates were provided with exact inventory and EXACT addresses to move between. For pickup and (free storage) for two days the actual cost after loading was 66% higher than the estimate. 2.5 hours to wrap everything and load. Then the same amount of time to unload into storage? Padding the bill. And 10 percent fuel charge. I called Sheila our rep and made it clear that the estimate for the delivery day would not increase likewise. She stated that that number should be good and it is a rarity that the number would increase more than a few dollars. I said NY? Traffic? She said yes. I took her at her word. Ha. Now, on the estimate document itself it states 8AM delivery. Black and white. The day before (while we were driving up in advance) we get a call to confirm delivery between 4-6PM on the delivery date. My wife had a discussion and Sheila said stop yelling, I was in the car and she was not yelling. Delivery day, we were to get a call saying they were en route. No call. We call at noonish, rep said they would call. Back and forth. they did not arrive until 750PM. Complained about traffic, seemed nice enough, showed me the number including some extra time for travel, I was good with that number. They unloaded, we even helped with unwrapping blankets and unpackaging to expedite. I left to get dinner. My wife called me to say they tacked on another hour of labor to raise the bill even more from the initial estimate. Total of 42 percent. So much for her word. Then they ask for a tip. We are not unreasonable, but we were not rewarding them for this gouging. Especially after showing one number and i specifically stated - i am happy with this bottom line number. This company never made a site visit for estimate, had lackluster communication, and above all have no integrity. I'm hoping the workers find a job with a real company as their tips must be minimal with this type of experience. Upside - out items did arrive all in one piece - although we personally packed all the boxes and fragile items. Please do not use them. read more

Make sure you get everything in writing and check and double check the estimate for moving costs...how many men, how much time and whatever you do...TAKE OUT A 3RD PARTY INSURANCE TO COVER DAMAGE. They ruined my daughter's Arhaus dining table - rolling the top off the truck with no one to control the momentum and it crashed and broke into pieces on the pavement! I could not believe the stupidity and carelessness and afterwards the only comment were remarks in another language!! Because my daughter didn't take out 3rd party insurance, all the compensation paid for the $1500 table was their max of $150 AND she had to sign a release that she would not say anything on social media. I did not. I was with the men during the entire move and I saw everything. Only 1 of 3 had experience and he was the hardest working of the 3 and the oldest...sad. They took twice as long to make a move of 5 miles at considerable additional expense - much more than the estimate and almost twice as long. AND, they broke her beautiful marble top. The worst moving company. They are rude, not forthcoming with hidden costs, take forever, and unorganized. They also go by the name American relocation the movers told me so don't be fooled by either company. Michele and Howard were both extremely rude and unhelpful. Promising our shipment on trucks and then unable to tell us when it would arrive. They then told us a truck broke down but really they just decided not to put us on it and told us a different story when we called back to question why. They gave me a quote for $1500, and I added my shed to the inventory list (forgot to add this; it's a small 5x5 shed with mower, wheel burrow, ladder and some shovels). The quote then doubled to over $3300. The hourly rate doubled from $100/hr to $200/hr. Be cautious, I've seen other reviews where they say one thing and raise it. I am going with another company that has a rate lock guarantee such that the rate can only go down. read more
