For my first major remodel, choosing The Bath Studio as my design and logistics partner was THE…read morebest decision. My 90s master bath was in terrible shape. I now have a functional bathroom that I enjoy using, is easier to clean, and has a lot of storage. I had a meeting with Julie where we discussed cost, potential time frames, and I decided to move forward. Julie came with a contractor to take photos and measurements. We scheduled a couple sessions and went through all the pieces and parts for several hours. Their office has a ton of samples to choose from and contrast / compare. During the meetings, Julie was creating a visual model so I could see the layout and make adjustments aesthetically and logistically. The Bath Studio produced a binder with a layout, all part numbers and vendors, and reference of where to put outlets, drawer handles, how to lay the tile, how many tiles to order, mirror positions, and dimensions etc. etc. They ordered all the parts, told me how much space I needed to store it, and parts were delivered to my garage as the demolition of the old bathroom began. Fred went through each item that was delivered, and also highlighted info that other customers had asked and the couple parts that were on backorder. Laura followed up on those, and it did not impact the time frame at all. The treatment I got from the team made me feel like a Real Housewife of San Ramon! As other Yelpers mention, there are 2 contracts: 1 with The Bath Studio and 1 with the contractor. From the construction execution side, the team was punctual and professional and it was fairly easy to get in touch with them. I was impressed with the demolition and installation of the electric infrastructure, the cabinets, sinks, linen closet, lighting, floors, accessories. The team always cleaned up after themselves which was very much appreciated. No remodel goes perfectly I guess. There was a problem during the build-out of the shower that caused some damage to my downstairs ceiling. There was another execution mishap later that took several weeks to get closed. Because I had partnered with a pro like Julie I remained confident the contractor would address these, though it was stressful. So - if you are looking to tackle a renovation and don't have the bandwidth or experience to lead and project manage the design and logistics, I totally recommend The Bath Studio.

All the materials are ordered and delivered in advance of the construction. With a detailed design and all materials in hand, the construction process went smoothly. The Bath Studio recommended our contractor, Cano Eixo Construction, who did an amazing job. The workmen were very professional and provided excellent workmanship. We felt the pricing was fair and did not experience any additional costs during construction. We love our new bathroom!

A friend had her whole house remodeled by them and had nothing but good things to say so I reached out to them. I thought I would get 3 estimates, but after working with the designer, Rhonda, and the team to get an estimate, I knew I would just go with them! EVERYONE is professional, communicative, and a pleasure to work with! They stayed on schedule and on budget. Every phase was coordinated that resulted in a beautiful kitchen and windows that make the house look bright and new! It was really fun to work with Rhonda, who helped us design the kitchen. She really knows her stuff and recommends great products within our budget. She is so dedicated and goes above and beyond! One example: We showed her a picture of tile that we liked and when she couldn't find a similar one in their showroom, she went out of her way, driving to a distributer to find us the special tile for the backsplash, which looks amazing thanks to their tile guy who does absolutely meticulous work! Eddie, the owner and Matt, the project manager were fantastic to work with as well as every one who came to work on the project. We had a group text where they would communicate arrivals and plans for the next day or any updates. And if I had any questions or concerns, I could text them and someone responded right away! We've had lots of work done on our house, which have always ended up being a stressful experience and we weren't always happy with the outcome, but I can full heartedly say that we are so happy we used Today's Kitchen & Bath and highly recommend them! And truly, everyone on the TKB team is genuinely nice, and that's what sets them apart!

From start to finish, communication was open, consistent, and professional. Daren kept me updated every step of the way and always available to answer any questions or concerns. As a Realtor managing the design and renovation for my clients, finding the right materials is crucial. I had been searching for the perfect flooring and couldn't find exactly what I needed, until I walked into Coliseum Tile. I was greeted by Daren, and within minutes of explaining my vision, he guided me to exactly what I had been looking for. Daren understood how important timing and communication are, especially when working with clients, and he made the entire process seamless. His updates and attention to detail made my job so much easier and helped ensure everything stayed on track. The final result exceeded expectations--the floors look absolutely beautiful. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend!

Picked our favorite and returned the samples to the store to order. Was extremely direct with the saleswoman about what we were told about the same name, and to make sure it was the right one from the specific company. She flippantly said yes, she understood. They never called when it was ready, so I had to call them. It took them a couple of calls and hours to realize my order was in, but many of the tiles were broken. Went to pick up, and sure enough, it was the wrong tile. They had separated the broken ones for replacement, but still found several broken ones they had missed or were trying to pass off. Longer story, but they eventually made it right. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again. Again, no communication. Each time we called, we were told it would be here in a day or two. Several times, we were told they couldn't provide an update because the manufacturer was closed on the East Coast. This was after we were told the tiles had already shipped. Shouldn't they have a tracking number if they were telling the truth? Again, they did not call when the tiles came in, and we had to call. Sure enough, nearly all the tiles were broken in transit. They could not expedite new ones or provide a concrete eta on replacement after we waited nearly a month for the first tiles. Then, when we asked for a refund, they would not provide one until they got their refund from the manufacturer. I'm sorry, that is your bridge to cross; my business was with them. Fooled me twice, won't be a third. Stay away.

She was a pleasure to work with, gave us many options to choose from, steered us away from making poor decisions, respected our budget, valued our time, and was always a pleasure to talk with. We felt that Jackie took the time to offer advice throughout the project - and really showed an interest in how the final project would end up - we were able to send her pictures of ideas throughout, ask questions, and ask for advice. When we would mention we were looking for design or decorating ideas, Jackie would send us suggestions. The Kitchens of Diablo showroom is relatively small, but has an amazing number of ideas and samples in a very small space. And, it is always improving. It now has more products and design ideas than it even had two years ago. We felt that we could almost make all of our decisions from right in the showroom - cabinets, counters, hardware, etc. We also felt that when you hire Kitchens of Diablo, you not only work with your designer, you work with the entire design staff. Often times, we learned that Jackie would consult with her peers on various ideas - so you have the benefit of all of their experiences. You also have the benefit of being able to work with a firm that has a lot of experience in the Tri-Valley, where so many of the homes are similar. Jackie shared pictures of similar projects that she thought captured ideas we were thinking about. Sometimes seeing your concept really does help. Jackie worked very closely throughout the project with our Contractor to ensure that the ideas we discussed turned out as well as they did. We happened to work with Shawn Lober Construction - married to the owner of Kitchens of Diablo - a huge plus, however Jackie shared that she works with lots of General Contractors. This is another benefit of working with the professionals of Kitchens of Diablo. We think that the team of Jackie Alonzo, Kitchens of Diablo, and Shawn Lober Construction were the reason that our first major remodel project (our Kitchen) went so well and gave us the confidence to take on our three bathrooms. We can recommend this team without any concern whatsoever.

We got the whole kitchen plus vanities for 2 bathrooms. 2 bathrooms are great but the kitchen cabinet had so many finishing issues..some panels were darker in color some were lighter, streaks, dark patches and what not... kraftmaid definitely tried to replace them more than once but still the look is not consistent and I still have 3 island panels to be replaced. Moreover they kept our $1200 which were supposed to returned due to defective backsplash tile they helped us order. But they refuse to answer calls and msg's and it's been 6 months now. Our 50 percent house was water damaged at that painful time and we trusted them with not only our kitchen but the whole project by hiring their relative who is a contractor for the whole project. It was a complete torture to deal with the contractor as well and we had to pay him almost $3000 extra for no reason just to get over with things and they never helped. They will sound very nice and kind but when please don't ever ever put all your faith in them. My husband and I regret the day we stepped into Jeff's kitchen. We spent almost $50k on kitchen cabinets and $13 k for bathroom vanities.Still they kept our $1200 which they were supposed to return.
