My friend & I were greeted as soon as we walked in! We were quickly shown everything they have on their hot bar and then shared the menu. The wait for the food was not long but it gave me a few minutes to start a game of dominoes. They have several games there for public use. The food-GOODGUBLYGODAMIGHTY-(translation=DELICIOUS). Conveniently tucked away in Lithonia (incorporated), Greennlove had a vatiwty of wraps and foods for everyone. I specifically kove that they cook fresh and have both began and vegetarian options. It's well worth the trek and the artwork and murals in the place are hella cool. Im not sure if they do any cateringnor corporate luncheons. This place is truly a gem. I'm trying out being Vegan for a week and decided to look up som close by restaurants. To my surprise I found this one not far from my mom's house. I ordered the chipotle black bean burger with sweet potato fries and OMG. Like I've had black bean burgers and sweet potato fries before but the ones from here? MAGICAL. If I was really ballin' I'd eat all my meals from here. I also appreciate the fact that this is a black owned business. Shout out to whoever the owner is. Bookmarked this place awhile ago and finally got the chance to try it out today 2-14-19. 5 stars honestly isn't enough for this place. We're not vegetarian nor vegan BUT the food was amazing! The Green Love Burger was delicious! The Sweet Thai Chili Kale Wrap was also really really good! Very flavorful and it's huge! We can't wait to return and try the hot bar. The service was excellent! The young lady at the register was very sweet and welcoming from the moment we stepped in. The manager was super accommodating,kind and professional as well. As hard of a decision as it was, we settled on the curried salmon with yellow rice, jerk mushrooms, collard greens, vegan Mac, the black bean burger and a pinapple-ginger drink! I have eaten at Green Love Kitchen several times. It is great to have a restaurant in Lithonia that serves healthier menu options. The staff is always friendly and courteous. It feels more like someone's home than a restaurant. This is a popular spot for the locals. I often see the same folks seated with their tablets and laptops. Their menu includes salads, sandwiches and wraps. There are items for vegans and for folks who eat meat, such as turkey, chicken and tuna. The food is very good and is always freshly prepared. The potions are healthy also. I could not believe how big the full sized Classic Turkey and Cheese Sub-Sandwich was. This sub was enough to fill me up for lunch and dinner. They offer only two types of kale salad, regular ans spicy thai. I liked everything that I have ordered here. I will continue to be a regular customer at Green Love Kitchen. read more

For starters, I am very happy they are in business. The energy in this place is always positive and great. The customer service is on-point, but the sweet potato fries need not be that greasy! Please consider air flying them instead of deep frying them. When I squeezed them, so much grease came out and dripped down my fingers. I never took one bite; it's hard for health-conscious folk to chew and swallow that much grease. If you air fry them, they will be much better. First things first - excellent service! You could feel the love when you walked in so you knew the food was going to be delicious. And it didn't disappoint- we ordered a veggie plate with vegan mac and cheese (only served Fridays and Saturdays), sweet potatoes, rice and peas, plantains, and jerk mushrooms, south side spinach wrap (vegan), fries, onion rings, and an Albacore tuna wrap (vegan tuna was already sold out). This was my first time here. I tried the Thai kale wrap. Admittedly, it was delicious. However, I usually get my wraps from Tasili's Raw Reality and in comparison to cost and value there is none. When I received my wrap at Go Green I was very shocked to see a small wrap that compares to the size of a 6 inch wrap from a fast food spot. It was disheartening considering that it costs around $13 (with taxes included). While I believe that clean eating is a full value within itself and cost is normally not an issue, I believe that this place was over priced. My typical experience when purchasing a Kale wrap is that it is so large that it takes me three days to eat a whole one. The size of this wrap compares to purchasing a half wrap from my usual spot. If you are in the area and want a flavorful wrap, this is the spot for you. It was tasty. Understandably, it can be challenging to find Vegan restaurants, but they are emerging all over the place. I could have made this wrap at home and saved a lot of money. That is not the feeling that I like to have when patronizing establishments (something I love to do) I want the food to be so unique that I can't wait to return. My coworker and I order ahead on the site. Vegan tuna wrap and a smoothie. When I get there to pick up they tell me they are going to make my smoothie while I wait so it could be fresh! I appreciated that because I don't like a melted smoothie. But baby when I seen that hot bar with that beautiful salmon on the end I had to order a salmon plate while I waited. The same guy that made me smoothie fixed my hot bar items. He said I get the salmon+rice of choice and two sides! I couldn't decide on plantains so he said he would throw two in complimentary. So I got the rice and peas, chick peas, green beans, and salmon. Got back to it, and that food did not disappoint! Worth every penny and bite. Salmon was well prepared and not over cooked. The customer service also impeccable. My vegan coworker said his vegan tuna wrap was flavorful. So guess what!? We know what we are eating for lunch tomm! We took some time deciding what we wanted, but our indecisiveness was only because there were various delectable things to select from. I live in Dallas, TX and visited this spot after a hair appointment that I had in the area. Ordered the vegan tuna wrap and the Kingston Jerk Mushroom wrap. Both were delicious - the vegan tuna wrap had more of a mild flavor but still cool. The jerk mushroom wrap was FLAVOR packed, ORDER IT lol both are super filling. Large enough to share. I was starving looking for healthy options for lunch. My eye catches the Green Love Kale Wrap. The sundried tomato dressing really takes control of the leafy greens and turns them into something amazing. What impressed me besides the taste is how much you get! I swear, some deli and sandwich shops stingily sprinkle lettuce/kale or whatever like it's dipped in gold. Green Love shows you some real green love and gives you lots of green for your green :) Translation: you get a lot of kale packed in your wrap for a very good price. I love that this African American business truly aspires to show the community how delicious healthy eating can be. I initially found out about Green Love Kitchen through a Twitter post. The user mentioned that the restaurant was in the downtown Lithonia area, with is only minutes from me. I've recently been attempting to eat cleaner so I figured why not give this place a try. Upon my initial review of the restaurant on Yelp, the menu appeared to be very limited. So my expectations weren't the greatest. Prior to going in, I made up my mind that I would probably just settle for the black bean burger and sweet potato fries because that seemed like a safe choice. However, don't let the ONLINE MENU fool you. There's more to offer than whats posted. Upon entering, you automatically get a welcoming and comforting vibe. It's a smaller restaurant, but the tables are large and accommodating of multiple parties per, giving the restaurant a real communal feel. My friend and I were warmly greeted upon entering by the staff and handed small menus as we approached the glass food bar to place our orders. As we contemplated a bit over what we wanted, we were advised that the food on the menu was not all they offered. To our surprise they also had a hot bar that boasted Coconut Curry Salmon, both began and regular macaroni and cheese, green beans, collard greens with sun dried tomatoes, curry chickpeas, jerk mushrooms, yellow rice, rice and peas and more. I immediately changed my mind and ordered the coconut curry salmon w/rice and peas, collard greens and curry chick peas! The coconut curry sauce on the salmon was incredible and made from scratch house. My favorite part of the meal. If i could do anything different, it would be to ask for extra sauce with it, that way I could have enough to wet the rice a bit. That combination was sensational. Great wraps! I was so excited to find out that there was a place that I could get a good kale wrap on the East side and I won't have to travel to the Southside when I'm craving one. I ordered the Spicy Thai kale wrap for myself, very light and flavorful--delish!!! My mom ordered the Wild Atlantis Tuna wrap, also delish!!!. We both tried the Siracha Veggie wrap which was good but I think I'd prefer kale in it as opposed to spinach but it was tasty. The atmosphere in the restaurant is cool and laid back and the staff was friendly, next time I may just eat there. Seems that downtown Lithonia is trying vitalize & I'm happy to see that. Great food! Really impressed by the spicy Thai kale wrap for $10. It was so delicious!!! Best wrap ever in my existence lol The vegan mac n' cheese was so good too! It tasted like it had dairy in it, but it didn't. I was so amazed of the flavors inside. My taste buds said "yes Lawd!" Lol My kids loved it too. Who says vegan food can't be tasty?! Also had the wild-caught salmon, yellow rice and collard greens and it was also very, very good. You get an entree with two sides for $12.50. Homemade juices were $3.00. Green smoothies were $6.50..will try one next time. I definitely will be going back soon. Great service too! Had a great conversation with Fred, (who rung me up) so can't wait to go back to talk to him about all the random things we found to talk about.
