    Yellow Curry Tonkatsu Ramen
    Sims S.

Went back to Vegreen again!!!! This time my party and I got the yellow curry tonkatsu ramen (again, I know), orange chicken, general tso's chicken, and spider roll. Every single item was amazing. The orange chicken particularly impressed me because of the actual orange pieces! The orange flavor is authentically present in the dish and you can even enjoy the orange slices. We received $10 Vegreen cash for our order which we can redeem in 10 days.

Cute and clean inside. Amazing, attentive service. AND THE FOOOOOOOOD. Every single thing was absolutely perfectly cooked and fresh. The tofu was the best cooked restaurant tofu we have EVER had. Our dining companions who haven't eaten much imitation meat loved everything as well. Though we all ordered our own food, it became family-style because it was all too good not to share. We will be back A LOT!!

Black truffle fried rice (without pine nuts) really tasty & healthy!

BEWARE if you have any food allergies!! Went here with my 2 daughters last week one of whom has a SEVERE Tree nut allergy. Before the owner/manager took our order I advised him that we have a nut allergy and to please make the kitchen aware. He copped an attitude with us and said "what are you ordering" he said he had to know what we were ordering before he could tell the kitchen anything. I was still in polite mode and advised that we always just let the kitchen know ahead to avoid cross contamination. He continued to insist that until we order he could not tell us if there were nuts in our food. I realize there was some communication barrier as well however, SIR if you own a restaurant in an English speaking country it is your responsibility to at least know safety precautions. He later changed his tune and was nice, checking on us but the damage and the impression was cemented. Looking back we should have just left at that point. We will not be back. Wanted to warn others who have allergies you may not be totally safe eating here.

We were in the area December 23rd to shop for our daughter at Microcenter. Looking up vegan / vegetarian options on Happy Cow, and this popped up. It had good reviews, but honestly, we were not expecting anything of this caliber. The restaurant is situated in a pretty standard strip shopping mall. The decor is bright and clean, with comfortable seating, but nothing that hints at the first rate food we are about to enjoy. I ordered the Black Pepper Steak Udon, which was full of "meaty" goodness, lots of Unami peppery flavor, chewy udon noodles- if I lived nearby I would be eating this every other week. It's craving worthy. My husband ordered the Chicken Curry Ramen, which had a divine yellow curry sauce that was the right balance of tangy with creamy with spice. The bok choy was fresh, the knife cut noodles, faux chicken delicious. I would bathe in that yellow curry sauce. The vegetable dumplings starter was also very good. The waiter was friendly, attentive and kept our glasses full of fresh water - the metal glasses they use here made the water extra delicious and refreshing. He recommended the black pepper steak as his favorite menu item (for our next visit). But honestly, I think that despite the size of the menu you are in good hands here with anything. I don't say that lightly. I have a feeling there's a real pride and commitment to the business here. As my husband just said - the whole experience was great. I envy those who live around the corner!

I've been eating here for years and the food is amazing! I just picked up my order and I inquired about the promotion and was advised I'm eligible only if I called in my order or placed in person, however, the promotional flyer does not state that! If that is the case, the flyer should state that! I did not use a third-party app and ordered directly from their website.

Vegreen is one of the best vegan restaurants in the area. Every item that I've tried here so far is packed with flavor. The best entrees that I've had so far are the chicken yellow curry ramen, the black pepper steak udon, and the seamer chicken. The general tso chicken and orange chicken were also full of flavor. If you get the tea, they give enough to share between 4 people and is always served hot. The service is always friendly and I love going here for a bite to eat.

I'm not a vegan, but I enjoyed my visit to VeGreen. The restaurant and staff are inviting. I love the inspirational decor. I ordered the veggie spring rolls and veggie fried rice. I also had the opportunity to try eggplant and tofu from my friend's order. Everything was tasty. I could see why this is a popular spot for vegans and vegetarians.

If you're looking for some greasy Asian fusion food, this is a pretty good spot. Even more so if you're vegan/vegetarian! It's great that they offer many options, and I like the variety I see here. I will say that my rating is influenced by the fact that it's vegan/vegetarian. They did amazing recreating traditionally meat dishes. Their most popular dish by far is their black pepper steak udon. Good peppery flavor that's pretty accurate to Chinese black pepper steak but made vegan. The texture of the "steak" isn't bad either. I've had better fake meat elsewhere, and this probably won't fool many, but the flavor is the focus. This dish is super greasy though, your lips will be evidence of that. Some other dishes that were nice are the sesame chicken and orange chicken. My only note is that the orange chicken has a stronger orange flavor than most places that seem to be more vinegar forward. I prefer it personally. The truffle oil in the black truffle fried rice does come through, and it's not super overpowering thankfully. They have shrimp, and it's good! It's not rubbery and makes for a good representation of what eating actual shrimp is like. It's also a pretty good price considering buying fake shrimp goes for about the same price as the meal itself, and they give a good amount. The salted fish clay pot is probably the hardest to get right because of how salted fish is made, but they didn't do bad. It was good though not what I expected. I've tried a good bit from their menu, but those are the main things that come to mind. I possibly need to retry the sushi, though I don't really want to when other menu items I haven't had call to me more. The sushi wasn't amazing, but I could've ordered wrong.

Three letters for you....W.O.W!!!! Plant based Sushi! Just look at the pics and start salivating The staff were so friendly and service was superb! Tried the truffle fried rice and what an awesome explosion of flavor! Each item we tried was so flavorful and rich. Not to mention that we tried other plant based sushi and asian vegan food places in other cities and the prices are actually a great deal here. You must try this place if you haven't already! Good service, great food, and great ambience! No need to say more...Go!!!

Well, it's a no for me! I recently became vegetarian this year and was sent to VeGreen by a friend, this place came highly recommended but that was not the experience I received. I didnt know what to order, but decided that Veggie Fried Rice would be a safe choice and received a to go plate full of fried rice and onions. I had to go home and cook. We went in around 7:45 and were told that we could not dine in, so we placed a to-go order. The service seemed very rushed and they were turning people away at the door at 8pm when the sign clearly says that they close at 8:30pm ( change your hours ). I called to let them know how dissatisfied I was with my meal, and was told by a young lady that they pre-measure the vegetables and if we want extra vegetables we would have to pay an additional two dollars.....So with that being said, I do not forsee a return visit to this resturant. $14 for a bowl of rice is extreme.

Delicious food! You wouldn't know it was all vegan if no one told you! The orange chicken was fantastic, and lacked that vinegary bitterness you often get elsewhere.

Very clean and had such a great atmosphere! Love the theme all around the restaurant. Quiet and cute, the food was delicious. Sushi was great, and the orange chicken was really nice. Definitely recommend for those who are vegan, there are plenty of options to choose from.

    Hot and Sour Soup

I've come here based on a recommendation from a few friends. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but I do enjoy the cuisine. When I arrived it wasn't crowded but it took me over 10 minutes to be given water and 20 for the hot and sour soup to come. 胡辣汤 is a religious experience for me. I know how to make it myself: I've had it in China and across the world. This was the worst I've ever had in my life. Bar none. There was no sourness, no vinegar. No heat nor spice. It was completely SWEET. Sugary. The server told me that's how it's made. I had the veggie pepper steak next. The steak tasted bland and most of the pieces were very small compared to other establishments. The pepper sauce was almost as sweet as the hot and sour soup, to my consternation. The white rice tasted watery. Finally I had the vegan spicy tuna roll. It wasn't great but it was better than the rest of the meal. I wouldn't return, especially if you prefer your food to be spicy.

The more adventurous eaters will go for the bun bo hue because there is a lot more complexity to it. And then you have the banh mi. A marriage of traditional Viet flavors mingled w/ the French flair of the baguette but with Be Banh Mi, there is an additional twist that I think is just ingenious. First off, you will fight for parking so bite the bullet and walk Second the interior. One of the most spacious, under used spaces ever to be used for a sit down/take out banh mi joint. They seat roughly 20 people while the middle section is primarily used to start a line queue. The service. It's the self-service kiosk where you order and they call you by your receipt number so there's no bussing or wait staff. Now for the for banh mi. It's not that it's anything necessarily special. It's a banh mi. Your proto-typical Vietnamese ingredients from grilled pork (what I got!!!) to BBQ pork to crispy pork belly and the works! The ingredients are one in same with any place that specializes in banh mis. What sets this place apart is that they offer the stick version of the traditional banh mi. Yes!!!! The stick version. Banh mi is traditionally served in a toasted buttered French baguette loaf that acts like a submarine sandwich open hot dog bun style then all the ingredients are shoved in the opening then wrapped up for you to open and enjoy. The stick version however is a long, thin, yet equally buttery, flaky, soft bun but it's almost a foot long and thin but they don't skimp on the flavors of the banh mi! That's what makes this place so interesting and worth visiting time and time again. Plus the price is so affordable for a banh mi. The traditional banh mi's run you at $6 per sandwich. The stick version runs you at $5. Between the two versions, you're looking at roughly a $12-$14 with tax. It's such a fantastic deal for something as filling as banh mi can be and between the two versions of banh mi, you will be satisfied! Highly recommend for a good banh mi!

We got: - Chicken Satay: The chicken itself was so believable, stringy and smoky! And crunchy (though I'm used to satay meat being grilled). The sauce was tasty too- peanut-y, sweet, hint of curry. However, for $8, I'd expect at least 4 skewers. - Shrimp Chow Kway Teow: CKT is one of my favorite noodle dishes ever, and Mamak's version certainly did it justice. The wok hei was so present, the noodles perfectly chewy, and the veggies (snow pea, onion, carrot, bean sprouts) well-cooked. The shrimp was insane, so bouncy and real-feeling. - Olive Fried Rice: Can't say I've ever had olive leaves before, this dish was delightful! Lots of great toppings (tofu, carrot, green bean, mushroom) that gave some textural diversity. - Black Pepper Beef: The black pepper essence was clearly distinguishable, but the sauce was too sweet for me. The beef was truly reminiscent of the actual thing. Lots of tasty veggies again (cauliflower, celery, jicama, carrot, bell pepper). Overall, taste-wise, all of the dishes were great; however, we did not feel portion sizes matched prices. Service could also stand to improve, with regards to attentiveness. To note, the restaurant is self-seating (I wish there was something that said this at the entrance). You can pay the bill via QR code, but there's a platform fee (I wonder if you could avoid that if you pay physically). Lots of parking available. 9/10 would recommend!

I have never had the same server(because I come on different times and days), but they are all always so helpful when suggesting things off the menu. This past week, I went with 2 friends and our server was so nice and I totally forgot to catch her name. From the moment we walked in, she was so friendly and helpful offering different combinations on the menu to accomodate for different dietary restrictions while still getting the full experience. She brought out both types of injera for us to taste to see which we wanted our food with and let us keep them. We ordered the habesha salad and lentil sambussas and it was plenty for 3 people to eat for appetizers. The hot sauce the the sambussas were served with was sooo good! For the main coures, we ordered the ethiopian special(fish and lamb) and a mushroom tibs. For sides, we got misir(my fav), difin misir, dinich wot, fosolia, gomen, and tikil gomen. It was all so good, and more than enough for 3 people to eat. My friend ordered an iced coffee with oat milk and after giving it, the server mentioned that if she didn't like it, she would take it back and remake it. My friend said it was fine, but the server noticed that by the end of the meal, she never drank it, so she insisted and took it off the tab since she didn't drink it. For the dessert, there are only 2 things on the menu, but in reality, there are maybe 7- 10 different desserts, you just have to ask your server what they are. We got a kettle of habesha tea and it has about 4 servings, which was perfect for us. For the first hour, we were the only people in the restaurant, but as time progressed, there were about 4- 5 tables with other people and it never felt loud or too busy. There was great music and I know they occasionally will have a live performer playing classics. Overall a 10/10 restaurant and experience. Will definitely be returning.
