I finally got a chance to try Purely Plant in Atlanta, and I'm so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was incredibly peaceful and inviting--such a calming space to sit back, relax, and enjoy a meal. The vibe alone makes it worth the visit. I ordered the Philly cheese and the corn dip, and wow--both were packed with flavor! The Philly was hearty, cheesy, and satisfying, and the corn dip was the perfect balance of creamy and savory. You can really taste the quality and care in each bite. It's always a joy to find a plant-based restaurant that gets it right on all levels--good food, good energy, and good service. If you're in Atlanta and looking for a spot that serves comfort food in a cozy, chill setting, Purely Plant is a must-visit! My Overall Meal was a 10/10. Overall Experience 10/10. The food is amazing, it's a small cafe but their menu is extensive. The food is always flavorful and served hot. They also package their delivery orders with care, the service is fast. They have street and private parking. They can be seen from regular traffic. There is limited indoor seating. The vibe is casual and the staff is helpful.

    Tres tacos for the win!!

Today, my friend selected this restaurant for our link up. She informed me that on social media, everyone is hyping up these tacos. I don't need much convincing when it comes to clean eating so we pulled up........ DROP THE MIC!!! OMG, listen to me ok- everything on my plate was fiyaaaah! *Tamarind juice was on point! I tried the cashier recommendations which were Shrooms Taco, Buffalo caulifl Taco and STE'K Barbacoa *10 out 10* Every thing was seasoned to perfection. Fyi, I'm not vegan but if I knew how to perfect dishes like this I would be. Chef kiss because everything was flavorful and fresh! The customer service was great!! The young lady who took our order was super sweet. My friend and I sat outside because it was a nice day for fresh air. The inside is small but we saw a lot of people order takeout. I highly recommend this hidden gem. I will definitely be back next time I'm on that side of town. I honestly wish my city had a Purely Plant nearby. Keep up the great work. I am 1 happy patron!

Mmmmm so delish plant based birria tacos. So good

Awesome vegan find and just over a mile from my friends house. I will def be back. I am not a big fan of mushroom and Myriam did such an awesome job of guiding me through their menu with options I would probably enjoy. Two thumbs up! I decided to try their 3 pcs Birri. I ordered my tacos with gluten free corn tortilla $18. The flavor was amazing and I couldn't detect in the slightest I was eating plant based meat. It was crisper perfectly. The Adobo had such great earthy flavors. I definitely recommend this dish. Thank you for a memorable dining experience. See you next time!

5stars. Walking in I was greeted with kindness. I went to the self order kiosk as it was the first thing I seen but the woman came got me and said she could take me at the counter and help me out. Very sweet .. I ended up ordering the crunchwrap..she let me know that they had two options, the beyond steak and the plant "steak" I ended up going with plant steak. I ordered to-go. Waited maybe 10minutes. I went to checked my food before I left and it was so hot a fresh I ended up sitting down to eat. It was delicious. Im coming back to try some other menu items!

My family and I have been here a few times. We typically order the crunch wrap and nachos which are delish!! I don't recommend ordering the sweet potato fries and the plantains. Although good, they are typically burnt and we had to send them back on one occasion so we stopped ordering.

I had to try this new-ish vegan spot not far from my house and the birria tacos did not disappoint! Everything was cooked to order, came out hot and with a lot of great flavors! You self order at the kiosk and there is bar seating (not to be confused with liquor serving bar seating) and a few tables. The service was amazing. I will definitely be back and highly recommend.

We were welcomed as soon as we walked with warm hospitality and island music! My boyfriend had been here before but this was my first time. The establishment was clean and had an array of options to choose from depending on your preference. I did the "byo taco platter" and chose two Shrooms and one shrimp ceviche. It actually didn't take long at all for our food to come which was great because I was starving at this point lol. The tacos are fire, they do a great job!

Quesadillas with steak that was supposed to be mushrooms and greens. It is also supposed to have peppers and onions.
    Elsie W.

I ordered delivery. The quesadillas with mushrooms and greens. It was also to come with peppers and onions. They sent me a steak quesadilla with over cooked steak that I was not going to eat. It had no peppers and 1-2 onions. I called the store and she said "well I can't be in the kitchen and don't work in the kitchen". I imagine that would be my experience if I went in person. So I won't be trying them again delivery or otherwise.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem while in the area, and I'm so happy I did. This is a new plant based restaurant with a Caribbean them behind it, and the food is amazing. I had one of their wraps and it was so good! They have a large variety of other options so I will definitely be back to try more. They have such great service and energy, and the inside is clean!

BYO tacos: mushroom, cauliflower , and steak

This place is delicious! Very thoughtful and fresh with yummy sauces and yummy tastes. I got the mushroom, cauliflower, and streak BYO tacos and they were fantastic!

First impressions R great. Friendly cashier explained everything. The food was YUMMY, just wish the sauces were thicker. They were rather watery. We got the Fried Oyster Mushrooms over a Plantain Waffle (Yes!) & a Crunch Wrap w/ Falafel protein. Also, tried the Haitian Style Black Rice & it was very good. It's small, however, U can sit inside or outside (1 table). I'll eat here again!!

I went on a holiday, which was super busy, but even so, service was prompt and attentive. I ordered a pasaflora to drink, which had a beautiful flower in it, queso blanco with chips, al pastor mushroom tacos, chochoyotes, and flan for dessert. Every single dish was inspired, layered with flavor, creative, and truly unique. The presentation was also lovely and each bite felt thoughtful and well-executed. I would order everything a million times over! One thing that especially stood out was the flan's texture, which was silky, delicate, and perfectly balanced. I was also pleasantly surprised to see fried green tomatoes on the menu. It felt like such a special nod to the restaurant's Southern location, blending regional influence in a really cool way. The owner was super nice, which made the experience even better. The decor is gorgeous and so inviting, with intimate, cozy lighting. The whole space feels clean, artistic, and thoughtfully designed. This is an amazing date-night spot that I truly hope sticks around for a long, loooong time. Everything about the atmosphere and experience makes it perfect for a special evening out. I'm already planning to go back and explore more of the menu, but based on my first visit alone, I might even dare to say this is the best vegan restaurant in Atlanta. The jury's still out, but I'm more than happy to keep doing the research to confirm!! lol Last thing I'll say is that I was so grateful not to have to wade through a bunch of non-vegan menu options to figure I it what I could actually order. I also don't have to wonder if my food was being cooked next to a slab of dead animal, which is not the case most places I go. So, thank you for being ALL vegan. The food is so good that there is no chance a non-vegan will feel they've missed out on meat anyway. Logistical stuff: I saw a little bit of street parking, but not a ton. Parking in the deck is definitely the easiest option. You could theoretically bike/skate the Beltline and just walk a couple of blocks to get there. The space is on the smaller side, so I'd recommend making a reservation to be safe if you're visiting on a Friday/Saturday night.

La Semilla is a chic, pan-Latin vegan spot…read more The menu emphasizes replicating non-vegan flavors and taste profiles more than it leans in to offerings that are already vegetable forward. For example, guacamole is conspicuously absent from the menu. In its place, you'll find a creamy (still vegan) Queso Blanco. That's a bold choice, but the dupe delivers. My favorite taste dupe, however, is the crunch wrap. It is spot on. It tastes identical to the much more famous, much less vegan version.

My order was ready on-time. Parking is ample in a private lot and the process of getting your order via pick-up was so easy. I felt the heft of the food in the bag immediately when I pick it up to deliver up out of it the deliciousness of everything inside. It felt like a heavy plate from the cookout or from Grandma's house after Sunday dinner. This is true food for the soul. I loved the sweet potatoes. I loved the mac and cheese. I loved, loved, LOVED the vegan chicken-like protein. I felt in love with it and the hot sauce that came with it. I was not a fan, in particular, of the collard greens--not because they lacked meat seasoning. They were a little too spicy for my liking. Otherwise, this is good food. It is Black-owned and-operated to my knowledge. Support, eat vegan, and be ye healthy.

I got the South of the Border wrap. The full size is enough for two people. It is stuffed with kale (I get the spicy one and it has a nice kick to it), avocado, black bean hummus, and couscous. Also know what you want when you arrive, it helps move the line a little quicker. This is a raw vegan restaurant that is known for their kale mix. You have your choice of wraps, spicy kale, mild kale or you can do a 50/50 blend. The spicy has heat which i love but I'm glad I did the 50/50, it was perfect. There is a free parking lot a few steps away from the business and it's large so you shouldn't have a problem finding parking. I had the south of the border with a chili wrap and all ingredients. I had the half size which was extremely large and enough for two people to share or enough for two days. It's such a beautiful wrap but personally not my favorite. All the ingredients were very fresh but it was something that I just didn't enjoy about it. Maybe it was the Moroccan couscous flavor. I'm willing to try another wrap and will probably go with the OG or Dat Ish. Prices were okay for the serving size you receive. There are tables outside. And the employees were all pleasant.

We got: - Chicken Satay: The chicken itself was so believable, stringy and smoky! And crunchy (though I'm used to satay meat being grilled). The sauce was tasty too- peanut-y, sweet, hint of curry. However, for $8, I'd expect at least 4 skewers. - Shrimp Chow Kway Teow: CKT is one of my favorite noodle dishes ever, and Mamak's version certainly did it justice. The wok hei was so present, the noodles perfectly chewy, and the veggies (snow pea, onion, carrot, bean sprouts) well-cooked. The shrimp was insane, so bouncy and real-feeling. - Olive Fried Rice: Can't say I've ever had olive leaves before, this dish was delightful! Lots of great toppings (tofu, carrot, green bean, mushroom) that gave some textural diversity. - Black Pepper Beef: The black pepper essence was clearly distinguishable, but the sauce was too sweet for me. The beef was truly reminiscent of the actual thing. Lots of tasty veggies again (cauliflower, celery, jicama, carrot, bell pepper). Overall, taste-wise, all of the dishes were great; however, we did not feel portion sizes matched prices. Service could also stand to improve, with regards to attentiveness. To note, the restaurant is self-seating (I wish there was something that said this at the entrance).
