This was my GO-TO place ever since I moved into the neighborhood 2 years ago. Now, This place is either under new management or something happened. Unfortunately, I've been here a couple times (different dates) and every single time I get turned down. They either ask me to "Wait at least 20min until someone gets there", "to come later" or this time around she asked me to "Call later and make an appointment" Some people don't have a lot of time on their hands to be driving down to a spot and always get turned down. I have called ahead of time before and they don't answer the phone. Probably busy? The new way they run business is very unorganized. Disappointed but I won't be coming back anymore. They have a good menu option to allow for quick budget service ($40 mani/pedi combo deal) and options for more involved and luxurious services. They also have tons of color options. Bad experience more than one time. The service nor the quality of work isn't worth the price. The thin layer of nail polish they use leaves brush strokes and flakes off within a day or two. I tried to give the benefit of doubt by going back but my next visit wasn't any better. read more

While it was $47 for an acrylic fill with gel polish, it was a stern and fervent reminder that they "don't service clients that want long nails and designs...." I asked for one small heart on one finger... it was clear I was not considered their preferred clientele so I picked a color and didn't ask for anything else Seven fingers were cut during the filing and when I mentioned it, I was told my skin is too tender although the cluts are all on the same spot on each finger So disappointed. read more

Came today because of course *car wash day* They were PACKED! All 16 or so spa pedicures were filled and every last manicure table was taken but with that being said I only waited about 5 mins. I got the mani/pedi green salt package. Let me just say, LONGEST leg rub I've ever had! First with orange yummy smelling salt and then with lotion. Manicure came out great. Added the extra 5 dollar to buff it since I wasn't getting polish and their so shinny and smooth. So worth it. Pedicure. Meh. I've had better. But I hardly wear my feet out so that doesn't bother me as much. I'm sure different people do different levels of work. I was a walk in, my first time there so I got whoever was available. Of course, the ladies gossip and talk about you to your face in another language to the other workers and you absolutely KNOW their doing it here, so that's a tad bit uncomfortable so go in with headphones or you'll be slightly annoyed. Their equipment seems to be clean and the salon itself is clean as well but they are VERY thirsty for tips. Almost to the point of being obnoxious. GIRL I'M GOING TO TIP YOU CALM DOWN. Lately I've been having a hard time finding a good salon and have been very unimpressed with all the manicures I've gotten elsewhere. Of course, to have a set I love this much is a breath of fresh air and a total relief- I will most definitely be coming back!! Mary did my pedicure and was thoughtful, detailed, and did a wonderful job. Amy did my full set and I am sooo impressed by all of her skill, technique, and thorough attention to detail. Well all I can say it did the job, polish change check. Good job not so much but I guess my nails looks better than they did when I walked in. I know I only asked for a polish change but I had a hang nail but rather than cut it since I didn't pay for that service she just pushed it under the side of my nail so it didn't get on the way of the nail polish. As I attempted to pay saw a sign that they didn't take ATM for anything under $15 and there was a charge. If you have time, definitely skip this place. I'm giving this nail salon a 5 because the technicians took care of what I need. A couple of weeks ago I had my nails done at another salon. I had an acrylic done. A week later, couple of the nails lifted, so I tried to pry them off but it hurt so bad. When I walked in the green nails, they took me in right away and Linda was ever so gentle of removing the acrylics and she was concerned about my pain. That was nice of her even though she wasn't very personable. I had to ask Mary about Linda's name, a sweet little lady who did my pedicure. I'm very satisfied with their services. Happy to report I have finally found a new nail shop! After a terrible botch job on my last gel manicure I was very hesitant to try yet another new place, however I looked up this place while waiting for my car to be washed and saw it looked nice and had great reviews so I figured it was worth a shot since I had time to kill anyway. Location tip: They are tucked away upstairs above the Petsmart. I walked in around 1;30 this past Saturday afternoon and while all there people were busy there was noone waiting in like so this was a good sign. The woman in charge offered to have one person start my manicure and then she would come and finish up the gel part.After I came in the clients really started coming in so I highly suggest making an appointment if you want to get in and out on the weekend. Both of the women who did my manicure were meticulous and as efficient as could be for such a busy day. My nails came out fabulous I could not have asked for better work. The salon itself is very clean and even when it was busy still a mellow, relaxing place, not loud and rowdy like some nail shops get. The prices are also very reasonable. You get $2 off your 1st visit with a Yelp check in, and they have a rewards stamp card that gets you $15 off once you fill it up. They have definitely found a new loyal customer in me and I'm sure anyone else who comes here will feel the same. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would!! This salon is a total joke, they are completely disorganized & unprofessional. Not talking to their clients, only talking amongst themselves in another language. Then when it's your time to get serviced, they are walking around on their phones & when they decide to work on you they will. The owner/manager thinks she is above everyone and Linda is miserable and a mess. Mimi may also seem nice, but she could care less about her clients. The uncomfortable experience triumphs the job they did on my hands and feet. Even in a mask, I could see the disgusted look on the face of the women doing my nails. If that wasn't bad enough, she loudly began speaking Vietnameseagain with the looks and (af if I can't read her body language and hand movements. I work with a floral and event planning company ‍ , and it's a messy job, I know. But I came to get my nails done for that reason. I know my nails can get disgusting from creating with flowers all day, and I agree, but sally next to me doesn't also need to know cause that's just embarrassing. I walked in today without an appointment and waited maybe 2 minutes to be taken to a set to start my gel manicure. This was my second visit here (the first was a few years ago) and I was very impressed. This salon is located on the second floor of a shopping plaza and there is plenty of free parking in the lot they share with Ralph's, Starbucks and all the other nearby businesses. There is an elevator to the top which was nice, and the salon is very well ventilated. It was also surprising cool inside considering the door was opening and LA is currently going through a heatwave. The sanitation machine was out and in plain view and the salon is also very clean and everything looks up to date (chairs, manicure stations, TVs, etc) My technician today was Victoria and she did a lovely job on my gel manicure. She was quiet, and while I sometimes enjoy striking up a conversation with my nail techs, it was a peaceful, relaxing silence. I didn't feel pressured to say anything, she just worked away. Come to think of it, I don't think she talked to anyone. I noticed other employees having conversations with each other while working on different clients and sometimes that looks unprofessional. Especially when it's in a language that only the techs understand because usually the client thinks you're talking about them. Anyhoodle! $3 to remove my old gel polish and $25 for a gel manicure. Not too bad. My gel mani came out smooth and although it's not totally opaque, Victoria DID ask if I wanted a third coat of polish but I declined to try and limit the about of exposure my skin gets under the lamp. No biggie. The mani still looks lovely. The shape is beautiful. And no gel on the sides on my skin. Just overall a lovely job. read more
