My first experience with the shop was not a good one. My two nieces called to get pricing, and ask if they had massage chairs. They were told her yes and given prices. There is a quasi massage chair, and you put your feet in a bucket. They did an OK job on their hands and feet. One of the problems is that what one of the girls was quoted was not what she ended up paying. She's only 13 and they took advantage of her and overcharged her quite a bit. She didn't tell me this until we were long gone from the place otherwise I would've gone back. The girl said the place was not very clean. We will not be returning read more

Amazing pedicure and the nicest owner! The man who did my toes did an exceptional job with my neglected feet and I would have to rate it as one of my top pedicure experiences! Not sure why they don't have better ratings :) price is right too. read more

Don't drive too fast because you'll surely miss it if you do...the landmark is KC's Crepes because there always seems to be tons of LMU students here grabbing their boba and crepes. Beautiful Nails is a tiny storefront in the same minimall as KC's Crepes, Domino's and the Indian restaurant (whose name escapes me at the moment). Very, very nice and friendly service..GREAT prices ($12 for a pedicure), and good products (OPI and Essie). Minus 1 star for uncertain hygiene practices (i.e., community nail tools, pumice, etc), but isn't this always the case? (Just bring your own). read more

While waiting for my car to be serviced next door I stumbled upon this cute little nail salon. I was quickly greeted & told it would be 10 minutes. I had time to spare, so I took a seat. Lee, an older gentleman cleaned up my cuticles after he removed my existing gel nail polish. Their technic is different than my usual nail salon I go to & I actually think it's better. It probably causes less harm to your nail. If I'm the area I'll be back for a mani. read more

I got a gel manicure by Nancy. She took the time to make sure everything was perfect before moving on to the next step and was really nice. I left really happy especially since I finally found a good nail salon in the area. I took this photo of my nails today (2 weeks later) and am writing this review because I'm really pleased that it has been two weeks and my nails are still nice with no chips. It's growing out a bit now, but nothing wrong with the actual polish. I've gotten some gel manicures at other places that only last about 2 days, but not here! It lasts and still looks great! Thank you Nancy! Also: Price - about $27 gel manicure, which is reasonable Parking - lot in front and a larger parking lot in the next plaza over or street Tip - they have a stamp card! read more

Wow! What a scrub down they gave my toes for a basic pedicure! Pumice stone so hard it turned grey and my pedicure was astonishingly inexpensive! Acrylics look great! This place is clean, the staff is friendly and not at all pushy like some nail salons. The best part- inexpensive! Best salon in the area! Thank you beautiful nails! Super unprofessional. I drove a long way to get here because they said they were open. Upon setting foot in the door the "owner" said something to me in a language I don't understand and so I said I wanted to get my nails done. She had another client in there getting waxed I think lol and told me I don't have time. Very rude. Not pleasant and kind of embarrassing how she just wanted me out the door. Won't be returning. read more

The scars on my eyes never healed - I am permanently damaged just for trying to have a pretty eyebrows So disappointing and traumatizing these are very nice people that work here but they should not be performing waxing services PERIOD. If I could give this a zero star I would. I just moved to LA and was looking to try this place out. Before we got through the door the lady yelled out "busy now, busy now!" I guess having 1 customer means that you're busy. She didn't ask us if we wanted to make an appointment for a later time or different day. I will not be returning here. read more

Horrible horrible horrible!!!!!!!!!! Paid $27 for a gel mani that looks awful! They kept filing and filing and filing until my nails were so thin that they hurt!!! As for the gel polish, messy and horribly top coated. When I asked them to do more top coat they said my nails were too short.... who's fault do you think that is?!???!!?? Never ever go here. UPDATE: Just as expected, gel began chipping the next day. Cuticles are all flaky after third day. Pathetic. read more

Very dirty, unsanitary sponges, they quoted my cousin one price and charged her for another. They also told me they had spa chairs over the phone but when I went the pedicures were done in plastic buckets. read more

Found this place on Yelp of course. And it such a nice gem. A sweet man and woman gave me a pedicure and manicure and I walked in with no appointment. This is a no frills place but I got a very nice and simple mani/pedi. One of the best things about it was they did not try to up-sell me. The price was extremely reasonable and I got excellent service. My toes and nails look great. I will go back for sure. read more

Like others have mentioned, this place is a bare-bones mom and pop shop. If you come in here expecting fancy massage chairs in a beautiful spa-like setting, you will be disappointed. If you bring your own polish, and can appreciate a good mani/pedi done at a reasonable price by a sweet Vietnamese couple who are just earning an honest living, then you, too, will grow to love this place. I go in about once a month for a pedi. I am usually the only customer there, and am greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome. The 2nd time I went there, they remembered me from the first time, and knew exactly what I wanted without my even having to say anything. I like that. My 4-yr-old is always with me, and the minute we walk through the door, she gets showered with attention and all the pretzels she can eat. On a really good day, she'll walk out of there with her hair braided. Bonus points to them for making a kid happy. It's in a small strip mall that has a few restaurants. The parking lot is very tiny, and if you pull in and there are no spots available, getting yourself out of there is tricky. Your best bet for parking is to go in the morning. I usually go at around 10:30am, and then go to the Indian restaurant next door for their lunch buffet (small selection, but the food is yum!). My pedicures consist of a foot soak in one of those bubbly foot soaking things. Polish removal. A good scrub down. A generous slathering of lotion and a brisk leg massage. Filing, clipping, dousing of this ointment and that potion. Filling in of one acrylic overlay (don't ask). 2 coats of polish and a top coat. Wait. Is there a top coat? I can't remember. There might be. Plus the pretzels and hair braiding. All of this for $16. I give them $20, and if that helps them stay in business in some small way, then it's totally worth it. read more

Came in here last minute because of the location and was taken care of by Lee. I really appreciate the warm welcome and how the employees here removed the gel on my nail from a previous salon with no complaint. They painted my nails in a natural color and have clean and sterile tools. Lee is fun to talk to and super thorough! Will be back soon, thanks Lee! read more

If I could give ZERO Stars I would!! So upset/disgusted by the horrible gel manicure I just received. Went on my lunch hour as I was short on time this weekend and could not get to my normal salon by my house; used Yelp to pick a place close to the office & am now going to have to find time to go to my typical salon and pay twice in a day to get a manicure!! The guy didn't soak off my existing gel, he dremmeled it for over 20min (which will weaken/ruin my long real nails!), then so poorly filed & shaped them every time I scratch my arm or touch my face I almost cut myself on these sharp monstrosities & finally just plopped on polish (that was NOT at all the light pale pink I chose) so badly not all my nail was painted & you can still see the white I had on last week from the exposed sides! I went with a co-worker who had another tech & she got hers soaked, cuticles trimmed & a nice long hand/arm massage...I got NONE of that! BEWARE...Do NOT go to this shop!!! read more

I went here to get a manicure and an acrylic OVERLAY on my toes. As odd as it sounds, I get this because my toenails are extremely thin, so as soon as I grow a nice even set, they break off! The acrylic overlay protects my nails, keeps them looking nice and neat and the added bonus is how long the polish lasts! Anywhooz, just like the first reviewer said, this is a very small nail salon. It looks like an older husband and wife team and a younger women are the regular staff. The older gentleman, named Lee, did my overlay and mani. He was very good. I didn't get any file burns or cuts, as he was very gentle and careful. They were all very friendly and the prices were great! I went on a Wednesday around 3:00 and there was just 1 other customer being worked on, so I didn't have to wait. The only thing that was strange was how the other customer kept staring at me and my feet. She heard me explain what I wanted done. Turns out, she was a very nice lady. When she was done, she came over to take a peek at my toes and gave very nice compliments. She said she'd never heard of or seen that done before and how nice it looked. If you don't like the small, neighborhood nail salon feel, don't come here. But I'll definitely be returning. Also, be aware that they don't have those salon pedicure vibra-chairs; they do pedis the old fashion way. They DO accept credit cards. read more

I went there once to get a polish change. Not bad. 2nd time for a pedicure and a polish change for my fingernails. Pedicure wasn't great and asked another girl to fix it. which she did. But the polish bubbled on my fingernails. When I complained he started yelling at me that I had my nails under the fan ??? This is new? That's what everyone does. I had sat there for an hour so I don't know how long it takes to dry. My nails were horrible. I went home and took the polish off. Here's the fun part ...When the lady was done with my pedicure, she put the tools on a plate which she took to the next customer, SHE NEVER CLEANED THE TOOLS!!!! read more

My friend's nail is still gushing blood. We were instructed to return an hour later and came at the right time. There's two of us, and they wanted one of us to wait until the other was finished to begin the second... My friend's nail was cut on the side to the point of gushing blood!! We had to request a band aid!! We decided to leave without even finishing the nails. No money was paid. No coupon or type of perk for the injury. Also as we were leaving, some girls were coming in requesting them to re-do their nails because three of them broke off within a matter of 2 days. DO NOT GO HERE!!! read more

I hardly write reviews, but this place well-deserved it. At first impression of this nail salon I thought it was going to be a middling experience as it's not luxurious and it was not too far from my hotel so it was convenient. However, I was wrong, which lead me to think don't judge a book by its cover. I loved mostly everything about about this place. I love the fact that they put a bag on where and before you soak your feet, the main reason I loved that was because it prevents you from catching germs and bacteria from the previous feet that were put there. I thought it wasn't going to make a difference on my feet, but it did. Every tool she used on my feet were clean and in a bag opened in front of me. However, it might take 45 min, but it's well done. My feet feel very soft and great six days after. The lady and everyone there were very nice, sweet and welcoming. While I had a great experience keep in mind: -My only experience was with the lady (which i'll see on my next visit) not the guy. -I only had a pedicure NOT a manicure. -My total for Pedicure, Gel Color (very well put and hasn't fallen), and Callous Removal for altogether was $35. read more

I have been to numerous nail salons and have gotten my nails done plenty of times, not once has somewhere charged me for filing my nails. Are you kidding me? I came to this place twice. Both times I was unsatisfied with their service. The first time I didn't even know they charged me for filing my nails down, The second time I realized it and brought it to their attention. They said that's how it has always been. Both times I had acrylics put on and then they charged me for filing it down, who the hell leaves them 2 inches long? I just don't get it! After getting my nails done at this place, I had to go to another nail salon two days later to get them redone because I couldn't get over how awful of a job they did. Besides getting my fingernails done, I also got a pedicure both times. I'm not too picky but the nail polish they applied formed bubbles and dried up like that. Their color selection is pretty limited. They have bright neon colors like orange, purple, green and yellow...what ever happen to just the natural pink???? I'm sad that I can't go to this place anymore because it's close to where I live but I hate to waste my money when I don't get the service I wish for. =( read more

I found this place thanks to Yelp. I was in search of a new nail place and I liked that this was a hole in the wall spot. They don't have spa/massage chairs like most other places but I didn't care about that. The couple that runs this place is really friendly and their prices are pretty decent. This probably isn't the place for you if you're looking for the fancy chairs and a plethora of nail colors but if you're okay with bringing your own polish, you'll get a good mani/pedi. My only con for this place is that they're not open on Sundays which is usually my day of getting errands done. read more

This is my absolute favorite nail salon! The technicians are all so meticulous and detail oriented so my nails and cuticles always look impeccable. Even details like adding extra layers for lighter shades make a huge difference. Kim and Cindy are both amazing and so nice. Kim is just a ball of joy and good energy. She is always looking to make people smile and have a wonderful time. Compared to other salons in the area that charge more, you definitely get your value here including wonderful service. read more

Even though the owners were super friendly, I can't give this place a good review. I got a set put on here and pedicure. The pedicure wasn't too bad, but then again I'm not too picky on pedicures. The nails on the other hand weren't so good. It took way longer then it should have. They took FOREVER to file down my nails, which I later saw were completely uneven. Then within a few days they started to lift and now some have fallen off. Won't be going back here. read more

This isn't the fanciest of places, and quite frankly, when I saw that they didn't have OPI gel polish, I had my doubts... But I liked this place a lot! I was greeted right away and they were very friendly. I really appreciated how thorough they were with my gel manicure. What impressed me the most was their relationships with their regulars. When I first walked in, there was one customer there. Based on their interactions with her, you could tell they knew her well. Towards the end of my manicure, another regular walked in. They all greeted her by name and even asked how her family was doing. I'm in this area quite often for work and would definitely come back. Soon, they'll know my name too! Lol. read more

Such a sweet place! Being used to fancier nail salons in Miami I was skeptical but proceeded to visit because of a friends recommendation. They were so sweet! I went for the 2nd pedi and my friend for the full boat and I've never experienced a place that took so much time and attention to detail to make sure we were happy. Don't expect a glass of champagne and an intellectually stimulating conversation (since their English is limited) but expect to leave extremely satisfied with the results. Will go again. read more

I loooooooove this place! The staff here are lovely. Lee is the older gentleman that does my nails. He's patient and takes the extra time to make sure the job is done right. Cindy does great designs too! I came here for a gel mani after taking g off acrylic nails. Lee was able to do that while saving my nails! I'll be coming back for sure! read more

I am coming here all the time for my pedicures. I come in yesterday with feet looking like I had just walked across lava fields - tore up. Left looking super fly. The place is pretty stark - no massage chairs, limited colors (but I always go for a standard dark red) but hey - the prices are *really* reasonable, the staff are super friendly, there wasn't a wait, and you don't get the upsell I've gotten used to (despite my calluses and all that toe jam nastiness). The parking lot is teensy weensy so I parked in the Bristol Farms parking lot down the way. That way I can stop by the candy/soda pop shop on the way back to the parking. Conclusion: My feet look good, my wallet isn't empty, and I feel good that I'm supporting a small business. read more

It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

While my nail service started on time, my pedicure didn't begin until about 45 minutes later, which significantly extended my visit. I also noticed that none of the usual front desk staff were there, which may have contributed to the lack of coordination. On top of that, the salon ran out of the color I originally chose, so I had to pick something different. During my Gel-X service, I was asked what length I wanted. I requested slightly longer than medium--nothing extreme. However, when I got to checkout, I was charged an additional $5 for length, which was never communicated beforehand. Overall, I've had better experiences here, which is why this stood out. The pricing for pedicures is already on the higher side, and the lack of massage chairs doesn't really match that price point. Hoping this was just an off day, but definitely not the experience I'm used to.

The owner then told me she was just polishing, even though I could see she was not ready to polish yet. I was asked to wait. She then tried to get someone else to do my nails. But I am very picky, so I knew this would be a bad idea. I ended up leaving before I wasted another 30 minutes of my life. Overall, they do a decent job. But if you are in a time crunch and make appointments expecting to be seen on time, expect to be disappointed. This is not good place for people who value appointment times and being on time.

They explain what it is in detail on their website, and I was intrigued. I really liked the technician and the front desk person. The service was excellent. They offered me a beverage upon arrival, eye patches during my manicure, and sent me home with cuticle oil for continued cuticle care. The manicure was done with extreme precision, and the polish was applied meticulously. The cuticle removal went just a tiny bit too deep on a couple of my nails. The color came out noticeably lighter than the sample on the nail rack, so it's worth asking for a second coat or checking the color in natural light before they proceed. There is limited free parking in front of the salon. The space is small, and the 2 pedicure chairs are quite close to the 4 manicure tables. They required a non-refundable 20% deposit ($18 for a $90 manicure) at the time of making my appointment. But the online booking is easy. They have a loyalty card program and a fun giveaway lottery.
