This course is #3 on the B-Man's guide to the top 10 Charlotte area golf courses. It's a good course but a #3 seems overrated to me. Understanding it's February so granted, not ideal conditions. Still a problem when you have more than half an entire green surface under repair. You get only one Par 3 on the front and two on the back. The fairways are wide open and forgiving. The tee boxes all in good repair. You get the computerized electric golf carts. The check-in and Staff was smooth and everyone was nice. The bar/restaurant experience was good. As a Senior golfer, you get considerable tee advantage on most all of the holes. There is water but it doesn't come into play. They had patrolling Ranger maintaining pace of play. It is literally right adjacent to the Speedway. On several holes, you can see the Grandstands. I think you want to avoid this place on race day.

The golf course is the best shape of all the times I have played it. The new Champion Bermuda greens were quick, firm and green, all of what you should expect from well-kept bermuda greens. The rest of the golf course is in perfect shape. The tee boxes were a little high for my liking, but that's not a problem at all. After the round, we had drinks and snackies in one of the private rooms connected to the grill. The food is unbelievable. We had cheeseburger sliders, chicken wings, a delicious cheese plate, and the best chicken empanadas I have ever had. The cocktails were strong and tasty. All in all, it was a great day at Trump. The facility is the best in the area without a doubt. I get to play at a lot of high-end private clubs, and Trump is second to none.

James was in town from NH so he and Ben put together a group of 12 for 18 holes of golf. This time the range was open. It's adequate but it sits way up a hill and they don't want carts up there so you either lug your clubs up/down the hill or pull the ones you want to hit. They is also a chipping green but no bunkers to practice from. There is NO Starter though there is a little building on the #1 tee but it's been abandon. The Pro Shop has a PA system with outdoor speakers so they announce your name and your tee time, ten minutes before. The B-Man has had this course in his 'top ten' for a while. When I played it last year it was #8, it's now number 2. The views around the lake are great. It's country golf in a rural setting and it feels like it. We saw some guys in their Lynyrd Skynyrd & ZZ Top tee shirts. There are some really beautiful Par 3's and nice and short Par 4's. I was challenged once again by hole #7. There is a big pond right in front of the tee box and water on both sides the fairway about 200 yards out with a very narrow fairway landing area. I still have scar tissue from the first time. If it wasn't so far away I would play this course a lot more. All 11 of the other guys just raved about and said it was 'worth the drive from CLT.

There is a lot to like about this golf course. It has a…read moremountain course feel as there are a lot of ups and downs with elevated tee boxes and greens. The course is well maintained in every way. The tee boxes are all in excellent condition and well marked. The fairways are wide open and generous. There are a few that are narrow and you'll be punished for being OB. Quite a few greenside bunkers and some scattered fairway bunkers. There is some water with a couple of holes where there is a creek crossing as well as a couple of holes where there is water along the fairway but none that will impede your shot. The greens are all immaculate and roll well. They will challenge even the best golfer. I found the check-in easy and the overall staff was professional and friendly. The Starter was great with a sense of humor and some good info on bathroom location and holes to watch for when you're a first time player. The electric carts were all clean and in great repair. There was a beverage cart making regular rounds on the front and back. They have a great driving range with an elevated tee box that has a dramatic feel and easy to follow your ball flight. The bar/grill was very nice though I didn't order anything. I really liked the shady back porch with lots of tables and chairs making great viewing as players roll off 9 & 18. My favorite holes is #16, a 144 yard par 3 with a pond on the left and one green side bunker to the right. Just a great overall golf experience that I would highly recommend

If your website is wrong, then you should give the benefit of the doubt to your customer and let them have that price. Completely unprofessional and just bad business to do what they did here. I even showed the pro shop the email and booking confirmation I received. Imagine booking an air bnb for a certain price online and then when you show up they bump up the price by $100. You're already there and committed, so they know you aren't just gonna leave. Shame on them.

Went in just to look around was in the market for a new set of irons. Jay met me at the door…read morewelcomed me in. I explained what I was looking for and that I was on the fence of doing a fitting just to see how the clubs feel. Walked around a bit store was very clean and welcoming very organized as well. A few minutes go by I say you know what let me do a fitting. Jay was happy to help. He but his 100% effort and finding the right set up that fitted me. I spent bout a hour with Jay hitting golf balls at there amazing indoor simulator seeing what worked best for me. The experience was amazing very welcoming unlike other big named golf stores I been to Jay worked with me even tho I'm not the best golfer, it made the experience so much more enjoyable. All said and done I was a returning customer so it helped with some shipping cost as well as I purchased multiple clubs so I got a certain parentage off each club and being a first responder, PXGs hero discount took off some on the total order also. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and felt the price I paid was extremely fair compared to other big name golf clubs. 10/10 will be going back in the future to purchase more clubs from them to complete my set.
