However, I still do stand behind the inconvenience of ordering with Cute Balloons** I was going to be a repeat customer. This time I had time to plan and it wasn't as last minute. I will not be attempting to return as a customer nor do I recommend this business. I had a very straight forward order but because he didn't have the colors and type I wanted, the process was stretched out. There was a lot of back and forth with photos and questions. 24 hours later, I realize this is not how it should be. Based on my last experience, I knew I needed to ask questions and request for photos to get options. Because his "green" meant light green when I want a hunter green but he ONLY has the light green and told me he has "green" and would have provided that green to me if I didn't inquire more about it. After a while, it seems like I was directing the sales. To help the guy out, I told him not to blow up every shade of balloon but just take a single picture of the unblown balloon so that I can choose from it. And blow it up if I want to see how it looks like blown up. After that ordeal, he gave me a new quote that was close to my previous order (which had 30 more latex balloons). Basically this time $200 for 50 latex, 10 foil stars, numbers 1 & 0, and delivery. When my last order was $250 for 80 latex, 12 foil stars & delivery. Plus, we gave him a tip even though I was a bit on the fence of doing so. When inquired about the price this time, he concluded that each foil number was to cost $15. For a balloon business, choices are lacking. Eric has no concept of different shades of colors. Definitely has no interests in returning customers. We are a balloon loving party family. So we have had experiences with ordering balloons and blowing up balloons ourselves. I am very disappointed that this local small business is not quite trying to be what they are made out for. Now I'm just more mad because I wasted more time to write this review because I was unhappy with my experience with the balloon man. After I press "post review", I will forget about this business and let go of the angry feelings I have because, damnit! I have a 10 year old birthday party to plan.

We contacted them on a three day holiday weekend for an order - it was EXTREMELY short notice as our original vendor fell through. They were very honest and informed us that it would be difficult to source flowers within two days, but they would do their best. We recognized the challenge as we had already heard back from a few florists (or didn't at all) that they would not be able to accommodate our order. We sent them a few photos of the colors we wanted (white pastels, with hints of pink, purple or peach) and a budget per bouquet. We gave them creative freedom to design with whatever was in season. They created four beautiful bouquets that we were able to display at the entry table, welcoming guests for service. In hindsight, we are so glad that we ended up going with Hella Aloha and working with Faye and Cher. We really appreciate how they went out of their way to work with us, especially with our tight timeline. They kept us updated throughout the process and sent us photos of the finished bouquets before we picked them up. They immediately started brainstorming ways to make it happen and walked us through the pros and cons of different options, including real vs synthetic florals and where substitutions might be needed due to seasonality or availability. What impressed us most was how thoughtfully they considered the full context, the space itself, our wedding party's wardrobe, other design elements like lighting and stationery, and even how everything would be photographed. The flowers didn't just look beautiful on their own, they really tied everything together and made the whole day feel cohesive and intentional. One especially clever touch was how modular the setup was, our ceremony flowers were quickly reconfigured and repurposed to become the arrangement for our sweetheart table. It's also worth mentioning that their foresight got us out of a bind. Succulence offers a good variety from glass terrariums, classic ceramic pots, to vertical gardens or mossy rocks in all different sizes. Some vessels are a flat rate whereas others are build by the minute (yes, you read this right). There were also many varieties of succulents and cacti to choose from. The staff will walk you through compatibility between plants and also compatibility with your work schedule/ability to care for your new plant babies. You will pay for each plant separately as well. In the planting activity, everything is provided for you - tools, gloves, a rainbow assortment of sand and rocks, moss, driftwood...whatever you can imagine! I love my final product! I also really enjoyed the activity overall BUT I also admit that it was a little pricier than what my friends and I originally thought (because we didn't know about the time rate). It's definitely something to keep in mind if you choose to build at Succulence.
