After talking to 5-6 contractors, we went with Daniel and his team to help us make our yard more useable and enjoyable. The team value their work; and does not cut corners. They listen to our concerns, and address any confusions we had. 1. Daniel started his first project with us by installing a french drain for poorly graded side yard, and added a walkway from the gate to the backyard. 2. We were happy with the results, so we called him back to help us reduce the oversized flowerbed in the front of the house, and make it functional. With his expertise, we were able to get both: smaller flowerbed, and a gravelway leading to the side gate (stops people from stepping on the grass to get to the gate) 3. Once again we called Daniel back, because our patio was poorly done by the builder. Though Daniel does not do concrete work, he is partnered with a trusty concrete contact. Daniel was very patient and accommodative to our requests. I checked various quotes and he was the most reasonable and reliable. My main issue was water logging on the fence. Recently, maybe the neighbor made a change or, the land itself sunk, I don't know , but water upto the ankle was getting logged on the side making it a tiny waterpool and draining so slow that the stagnant water was becoming a thing of worry. After a lengthy discussion on whether to put a drain or a walkway, which Daniel listened to, advised pros and cons and the like, we finally settled on a pathway which drains into a catch basin taking the water outside. It is yet to rain for me to see the reality of my idea as in how well it is working with the rain water, but the job itself was very well done and I have had neighbors take his number already, it's hardly been a day since it was done. So I found this company using YELP and let me tell you, I am extremely impressed with the work they did. The process was very labor intensive and they did an excellent job. The attention to detail from start to completion was on point. They not only installed sprinklers but laid sod in places I needed it, trimmed my trees and cut some tree roots that potentially could have been an issue later on. When job was completed they left my yard spotless. He explained how to use the programmable keyboard and said if we had any issues to give him a call. That's customer service. UPDATE: My prior review was submitted right after the work was finished. Unfortunately, even though the effort was there the results were not. The installed sod was not of good quality and has not "greened up" and "filled in" as I had hoped. Daniel has basically said he can do nothing and I am stuck trying to save it. The sod was also laid with small gaps between pieces and is not smooth to walk on. If I cannot improve it on my own this summer, I may have to replace it all this Fall at great additional expense. I no longer can recommend Daniel and hope no one depended on my prior review! read more

After getting some ridiculously high quotes and no shows, I almost decided to give up on fixing the sprinkler leak until I reached out to Green Path on Yelp (Google reviews are not trustworthy). Daniel responded extremely quickly, diagnosed the problem over the phone, and charged the same price as quoted. The sprinkler leak turned out to be more complicated to fix so I decided to pay more despite Daniel not asking. His pricing is extremely fair and he gets the work done very quickly with his crew. We needed a big refresh and some overdue maintenance on our yard and trees. I contacted several landscapers through Yelp and based on neighbors' recommendations. Daniel from Green Path responded to my Yelp request promptly, and came out within the week. He was the only landscape contractor that offered a comprehensive bid for all the work we needed to do: Weed and mulch all our beds, remove a pear tree and plant a new one, plant two hibiscus trees to replace those we lost in the freeze, add black star gravel to all our hardscaped areas, plant new shade-tolerant plants in our back beds and trim six crepe myrtles above the roofline of our house. When he sent the estimate, I immediately knew that he had really listened to everything I had asked for. He even provided photos of suggested plants photoshopped into a picture of my garden beds. We let Daniel know that we chose Green Path on a Friday, and he scheduled our work to start on Wednesday. The crew came out early on the Wednesday. They finished the work in two days (they worked 10 + hours each day), their work looks fantastic (better than we imagined!), and they cleaned everything up beautifully. We live on a street that is very crowded with cars and trucks all day and we have very narrow driveways. Daniel is about the only contractor I've seen who never once drove over a curb or someone's lawn when backing up his truck and wagon. We got 4 bids on the landscaping job at my parents' house, and Daniel's was reasonable (not the highest, not the lowest). He itemized the scope of work and made in-person estimates as well as modifications to the estimates via photos and videos. He came on time and worked as fast but as carefully as if it was his own home. What most impressed me was there was some issues with my sprinkler heads being too tall, but since he has expertise with sprinkler systems, he replaced them and fixed them without asking for anything extra.
