We called today to discuss having some 'work' that had been done on our home. (The 'work' was never completed and the home was dirtier than we left it!) Someone by the name of 'Paul' answered the phone. Immediately, everything was wrong. Paul was unprofessional, rude and unquestionably the reason we'll be using a different company. You see, Paul can scream at us, cuss at us and DEMAND our payment information, but apparently what Paul CAN'T do is discuss the details of the cleaning or agreement with us. That's fine. We hung up on Paul and called back and we got Paul again. We asked to talk to someone in charge, to which Paul screamed 'I AM THE BOSS.' Whelp. We'll be making sure to tell everyone we know to stay away from this business in that case. However, this story continues. Today we received a voicemail from this business. They're threatening to take us to court for not paying them. That's fine. Since we've clearly documented their failure to complete the job they're asking us to pay for (which constitutes a clear breach of contract) and they're continuing to belligerent harass us we're rather interested in seeing them in court. read more

Last weekend, Green Planet Offered us a coupon for return customers via text. We scheduled an appointment for next saturday 3-4pm and received an automated confirmation shortly after. A few days later (Wednesday, 3 days before our appointment) we received a text that explained our appointment was canceled and had a link to reschedule. We rescheduled via the link provided and got another appointment confirmation back. We responded to that confirmation txt, "asking why our original appointment was canceled. They replied with an apology and that it was a system glitch. On Saturday one of their techs comes to our house. We werent expecting anyone, so we haven't made the preperations yet on moving furniture and toys off of the ground. We told him the situation and he explained he didnt update his list of clients for the week and we were on the list for the day. We parted ways and told him we will see you tomorrow. Today is now Sunday, the appointment is a 9:30am. All of the furniture and moveable items are either on the bed or in the kitchen. At 9:45am, we get a call from Green Planet with another apology, not for being late, but to tell us we have to reschedule. They told us someone had to go to the hospital. Accidents happen and it sucks, we get it, but we told them we were not satisfied with the service thus far and that we had scheduling issues with them already. No offer or discount for our troubles was made to keep our service, so we told them we are moving on to a more competent business. Could it be an honest mistake? Yes. Are the techs good at cleaning? Last year they did great. Would we deal with them again? No. Would we reccomend them? Not from how we were treated. Did this really happen? We have the screen shots to prove it. Blurred out the mobile number, not a fan of people harassing someone (Green Planet) over my review. That would be bullying. Goodluck on fixing the glitches, but for me I'm done. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I found a deal for carpet cleaning on Facebook (the entire house for $99 + tax). The worker who arrived did a sloppy and lazy job. I've had people clean our carpet before and they usually take about one and a half hour or more to clean. This worker only took HALF AN HOUR to clean the the living room, 3 bedrooms, and entryway carpets... which is absurd, because that's the time it takes for me to vacuum. So my dad called the manager. I believe his name is Paul. The first thing he said on the phone was "WHAT? WHAT? WHAT?". My dad asked the manager if he could hear him. "I don't speak Spanish." My dad has an accent when speaking English and this was an incredibly rude and racist thing to say. He told Paul that the worker left the carpet dirty and that we wanted a different person to come back and clean. Paul told us "No. It has to be the same one". He told us he'd reschedule and that we'd get a call back. We never did. So I decided to call again. I told Paul the same story to which he replied "We'll reschedule you another day with the same worker" I told him no thank you, we wanted it done the same day because it's a hassle to move out the furniture. He told me no. It HAS to be the same worker. I said was going to have to leave a bad review because he refused to work out a compromise, to which he angrily replied "Do whatever you want." and hung up on me. So here I am. I am shocked at the level of unprofessionalism of this company but am not surprised, seeing other reviewers had the same experience as me. STAY AWAY! read more

They were a true pleasure to work with and habe a wonderful team. They even gave me carpet supplies after to help me with long term maintenance. We recently had our tile and carpet cleaned by Green Planet. Although the service was to satisfaction, we were very bothered by how our yard was damaged by the employee and company vehicle. Our yard doesn't have grass but there is ground cover growing. The employee drove over the front strip leaving tire marks and mud puddles. Water was leaking/draining from their cleaning machine in the back of the van which made our yard muddy. Unfortunately when we took the photos, we had started the process of repairing the damage and the tire marks were turned over. In regards to our driveway, we understand tire marks are inevitable but you'll see that the vehicle also leaked leaving fluid. It's unfortunate that the employee didn't stop and notify us. Our view on the company would be completely different right now. We also understand that accidents happen but all we ask for is honesty and courtesy. We did advise the the company and was told that someone would be calling to discuss this matter but we haven't heard back. read more

Today we had carpets cleaned by Green Carpet. This was a groupon but what a fantastic deal it turned out to be. We had 5 rooms cleaned and they were emasculate. We were extremely fortunate to have Amille Reynolds as the technician doing the carpets., He inspected the rooms to be done and what a wonderful job he did. He did not leave the carpets soaking wet and they smell so refreshing. I highly recommend Green Planet to anyone needing this service. I give Amille and Green Planet two thumbs way up!! read more

We requested to have some furniture cleaned but they also cleaned the carpet at a cost of $185, which we did not request. They refused to reverse the charges. The rate is too high-especially in an apartment that only has carpet in the bedrooms. read more

Customer service when things go wrong- TERRIBLE and why I am giving them 1 star. Scheduling - Great, it was super quick and easy to schedule carpet cleanings on short notice. Pricing - Good. Only 40 dollars per room/area. Carpet service- EXCELLENT. My carpets were immaculate (I have 2 boys and a large inside dog) Why I gave 1 star- When my payment was provided to him via credit card, it was allegedly "declined". Which just, couldn't be the case and verified with my bank that the transaction was approved and the funds were taken out of my account. Amille, the very nice gentleman who cleaned the carpets asked that I merely call their customer service team while he finished the job and they could resolve the billing issue. I called and attempted to calmly explain that my bank confirmed the transaction went through. The woman on the phone told me they didn't receive payment and that it was declined. I offered the direct number to my banks operator to confirm funds were taken out of my account by Green Planet carpet cleaning. She almost immediately became hostile and unreasonable. I asked her to please see my position on this. I was not trying to get out of paying for the service. I just didn't want to be charged twice. She refused to hear me out and threatened to "forward by bill to the DA's office in which case I would be billed 3 times the amount". It was at this point I realized the ignorance level of who i was dealing with. In summary I explained that was fine. I understand what the DA's office does and couldn't really see why she chose that as a plausible threat to get me to do what she wanted. She clearly doesn't realize what the DA's office does. She also stated, "we are gonna call Fresno PD on you then" . At this point I could only hold in my laughter. I replied (calmly as I now know the class of this individual) that, that would be fine. I stated that "I have the documentation to show the police dept. as well as the DA's office that I made payment for services rendered". She decided to tell someone in her office that I "hung up" on her, clearly this wasn't the case. I could legit hear her say this as I replied "I didn't hang up on you....I am still on the line" she at that point actually hung up on me.I called back the next business day to confirm,from a different customer service staff, that payment was seen on their end as processed. It was, and the male staff member I spoke to was very polite. My issue and concern is bigger than my single encounter with this business. My issue is that ignorant people, in this case people who don't research threats before using them, abuse vulnerable people who don't realize these threats are false and merely scare tactics. Now I get this company may have been taken for a ride in other scenarios in which people chose not to pay for their services. Perhaps this has led this woman to be as jaded with the public as she is, but I spoke to her as a civilized person. She took an almost immediate tone in which she believed she was better than me and that I was of lower class than her. Well the difference between her and I, is that I understand the role of a district attorney as well as the police department. In other cases I am sure customers bowed down to her ridiculous antics and paid twice for services. Overall the job and professionalism by Amille, who did the carpet cleaning, was excellent. It's the customer service you get when things don't go smoothly. All the 4-5 star ratings are from people who had no bumps in the road. The true ratings of 1 and 2 are all from people who had questions and concerns dealt with by the customer service staff and management. This company is only well mannered when they get what they want with no questions asked. read more

Not very impressed with the quality of their work unfortunately. We had them clean our downstairs carpet (3 rooms and the stairway). We were excited to have the house looking fresh again after a year of use. Unfortunately they did not remove a vast majority of the marks and left the carpet feeling dry and brittle in places. We actually had to ask them to come back a further two times! The second time they actually left bigger brown stains than were there before, i dont know how. I think we will have to replace the carpet, it looks terrible now. Very unimpressed but i guess that's what you get for the price. We will be looking for another company to finish the rest of the house. read more

I will have to say their availability was awesome, called on a tuesday and they came out on saturday. But they only took an hour to clean two rooms? I had very soiled carpets and i would image it would take at least an hour for one room each. The carpets look like they got more of a glorified vaccuming than a deep cleaning. The soiled areas are still dark a dingy. But hey we paid groupon pricing and we got groupon work. Will not use them again. read more

I had my dirty carpets cleaned for an amazing price but the thing is is that they really cleaned them and now my carpets look practically new. I have lived in my house for almost 15 years and my carpets look amazing.... I also have dogs and there have been some "mistakes". these cleaned up so well and there is no doggy smell. I highly recommend using the Green Planet for any carpet cleaning needs. I know I will definitely use them again. They were on time and didn't take long to do my entire house. Great price, very polite and professional tech and the carpets look great. Advice to the company. 1 - invest in show booties. Great to have a clean carpet but not having dirty sneakers walking on them. 2 - be more careful with the hose. Get something to protect the corners that you are dragging that thing across. Paint become damaged and I need to do a touch up. 3 - wipe up afterwards. We have tile and wood floor that the hose was running across. There was water/cleaner on the ground in multiple places when the tech was done. Pay attention to these details and you'll go from a 3 star company that you have averaged on YELP to a 5 star. read more

The reception was really nice. Cleaning job was decent, but not great. I used the Facebook special ($99 for 5 rooms). The thing that got me was all the hidden fees that came with it. The receptionist had 3 chances to tell me about extra charges, but didn't. I left a check for my sister because I was going to be at work and she had to go get extra cash because there was no prior communication and anticipatory guidance. This is my biggest pet peeve. Desperately needed my carpets cleaned. I contacted the company through Facebook and was able to get my appointment set up easily that way. The day before I received a text reminder which was nice. The gentleman that did our carpets was Daniel. He was kind and knowledgeable. He was able to do our whole house in 2 hours. All total it cost us $140 for the whole house and the floors look amazing. We will definitely have them back in 6 months to do our carpets again. read more

I have had a terrible experience with Green Planet. I most recently used them to have my sectional cleaned. That was in March (2.5 months back). A trainee came with the manager? and cleaned our couch. They did an ok job but on their way out stained our tiles. Our house is a new construction and just got completed in February. On their way out they dragged the hose and did not bother to clean the tiles as they stepped out of the House. When I noticed that the tiles were stained, I tried to clean them on my own several times but the stains did not go away. I then called the company several times but my calls were not returned. About 2 months out someone finally called me back and told me that someone will come and address the stained tiles. Someone did come to clean the tiles but the stains did not go away. He then called the manager who said he will call me in 2 days. It has been 3 weeks since then and no one has called me back. My tiles are still stained. I am extremely disappointed and still trying to figure out how to clean my tiles. read more
