I came to Green Room Mammoth to demo a board for the first time. Out of the many ski/board shops in Mammoth, I chose Green Room because I previously had a great experience at their Orange County location - this was no different. This is my 5th season snowboarding and my first time buying a board specific to my riding style, rather than whatever beginner board was recommended to me 5 years ago. Steven was working and he taught me about the nuances between snowboards and answered all my questions. He was super thorough and patient as I weighed the options and ultimately chose a Never Summer proto synthesis board. Rode it all day, loved it, and bought it the next day. Came here because my snowboard binding strap broke and I thought it was unrepairable. However, Keith, proved otherwise. He was able to repair my binding strap so I didn't have to rent/buy new ones. Drove past this place on our annual vacation in search for a good deal on bikes. There are a bunch of different bike shops but this is the only one that offers you a 2 hour rental vs. the 4 hour rental. For a big group of 12, it was definitely more price efficient to rent for 2 hours. The staff is super friendly and were quick to adjust and get us on the bike. The e-bikes themselves are pretty cool too. I had my daughter and they provide the kids strap in seat at no extra cost. The bike is smooth and definitely worked well going uphill. 2 hours was definitely enough for us to get up the hill and around twin lakes, lake Mary, up to the top of the falls, and to lake George. read more

We have rented our gear here for years. They always have great customer service, wonderful advice and the gear is exactly what we need. A small business run by good people doing a great job. We have rented for kids and adults, skis and snowboards. They also wax and tune up our owned equipment. Everything we need to get out for a great day on the slopes. read more

Gotta give my boy Johnny over there a huge shout out at P3. He is the THE MAN! I was able to demo a fanatic GNU board for two days which he had recommended to me after I came in looking for a specific lib orca. They did not have the size so he recommended a similar shape/size I wanted. We had a fantastic storm I was able to ride a multitude of conditions from icy groomers to big loads of fresh snow. Based on his incredible knowledge, no pressure attitude I came in and had been blown away by his knowledge, expertise and and insight into the latest technology of all the bindings and boards based on MY EXACT riding style. Without him I would've been lost in the dark. His ability for showcasing to me (after deciding to purchase the board) the different set ups, different flex and stiffness of bindings I was able to walk out there happy as a clam on my decision to go entirely through him through the entire buying process for the most professional set up I've ever seen. He is a junkie when it comes to knowledge and would not steer anyone the wrong way. The decision to buy a new setup is not cheap for someone like me and Johnny and his staff made me completely at home, asking any questions without judgements, I will always feel confident with his and the staffs knowledge of what will be the best gear. I don't like to give bad reviews to business but I was honestly upset with my situation. I was boarding over the wkend and had severe pain with my boots and was recommended by an employee on the mountain to come talk to Keith since he is a boot master, unfortunately Keith was off and Ray helped us. He mentioned he had 30yr experience, he's a nice guy. I mentioned I had severe arch pain and my heel would lift when riding. He took my boots to the back and "worked" on them, he stated to come back the next day if i was still in pain. Riding the next day my boots were so much worse and I was in more pain. After riding i went back to see Ray and upon entering they mentioned he had gone on break. I was heading back home to San Diego so I was just going to leave but I figured I'm already there, so I asked them how long he would be on break and I was told an hour. I head next door to grab food and waited over an hour. I head back to the store and I sit down and no one acknowledged me and then I finally ask one of the guys when Ray was coming and was told he was going to check. After 10mins another guy comes out and says he wouldn't be coming in, so my time was wasted and I asked him if he could revert my boot to the way it was and he stated Ray didn't do anything to the boot but my foot pain was a lot worse and Ray had mentioned he added a lift for the heel, seems like no one knew what they were doing. read more

Did a nice job on the tune up of my board but def feel like I got played on heat molding my snowboard boot liners. Probably my fault for not looking into the pricing more and I know you can just do it at home but kind of just wanted it done and by someone who knew what they were doing. Asked how much it was and one of the dudes said 80 and I was shocked, guy who helped my out said no shouldn't be that much and went to ask someone in the back came back out and told me 40. Still seemed a little high to me but whatever only really hit home when I went to main lodge to find out they only charge 10 and that the guy probably did it wrong.. Didn't hear it at the time but my friend also pointed out that guy that helped me out was saying he hardly works here. The pricing thing almost felt like they were just making up numbers and were doing some scam of like 40 is way better than 80! Also to add to it all guy stuck a rubber pad on my sock to compress the heat molding and was surprised when it almost wouldn't come off. :/ idk whole thing left me with a bad vibe, cannot recommend. Will def just get it done at the resort next time. read more

E-bike rental was 10/10 it took us about 3 hour roundtrip and we went up to all the lakes with plenty of stops along the way ! Ray was awesome and very thorough- he made sure we felt safe and comfortable on the bikes before we headed out. Would highly recommend! read more
