TV doesn't work so the children cannot watch TV. Maintenance fix it in half an hour however, the TV doesn't work now again.

First of all very nice room with balcony and beautiful decor however, the air-conditioning doesn't work and the room is constantly 90+ degrees Fahrenheit. They did give us small room AC which only helps when you're sitting right in front of it. I have two children here and they tired and hot and cannot watch TV

It's a nice shopping area where the village gondola is located. There's some shopping available for clothes, ice cream, restaurants, toys, general store, etc. The area's pretty small. You can finish browsing the stores in 15 minutes. It currently has some nice Christmas decorations.

Cute area of Mammoth to visit for shops, food, and drink! Styled in alpine architecture, it gives off ski chalet town vibes. I came here after I was skied out one afternoon, and browsed the retail stores for ~half an hour. My group also came here one evening for a fantastic dinner at Shelter Distilling and a little bar hopping which ended with late night karaoke at the tiki bar. It's worth visiting while staying in the area! Pretty well connected via the free shuttle service, and there's a gondola between the Village area and Canyon Lodge.

Want gifts and souvenirs for all your snowboarding, snow loving, friends and family? They got everything you need! I was in need of some cute souvenirs for myself and friends, so asked where would the best spot in Mammoth be. The consensus was Mammoth Memories. Located in the Mammoth lakes shopping center and town mid point it was easy to find this spot. Staff here are very nice, they leave you alone to shop but when you need anything they are very helpful and friendly. I loved this store because they had everything I could want and need. Shirts, sweaters, stickers, patches, baby clothes, home goods like cups and mugs, hats and jerseys. This shop is unmatched and I appreciated that they carried both mammoth gear and also represented June lake. All of the clothing items were soft and well made. Yes, the shop is a little pricey. I do get those complaints but it's the #1 tourist shop in town and at least the clothing is quality and soft. Just be mindful it's $$$ - for example I bought one t-shirt, a baby onesie and a handful of stickers and quickly ended up at $80+. Yikes. But I liked everything I got and it's nice to have memories of your trip so I'd still recommend this shop as it had a good variety, plenty of sizes, and staff were nice.

It's located at The Village of course very touristy but they have some cool shops here. As you Enter they have so many items you can pick from. They have from sweaters, t-shirts, socks, shot glasses you name it they have it. The store is very organized and I appreciated the help form one of the staff there i wasn't able to find my size in the clearance section and the shirt was pretty cool so she went to go look in the inventory they had and was able to find me my shirt in my size. Usually some stores will tell you that's all we have and dismiss you but she took 10 minutes exactly and found my size. Excellent customer service! The prices can be a bit higher of course but the quality of the t-shirt I got was great and it's not your typical off brand t-shirts that's shrunk after one use. The quality is there. I also scored some socks and paid regular price for first pair and got the other pair for 1 penny (win win) love me a bargain. Excellent shop!

When asked why they don't pick up their phone, they said they were short staffed but they had two hours people and no one else in the queue. I called several times to make sure that it was ready to be picked up and not once did anyone answer the phone. I started reading reviews and the #1 problem with them was not answering the phone. The reviews were from years up to the date I called. We went down to pick up my prescription and waited in line for a few minutes and when we got to the clerk I gave her my name and she looked at the computer for a while. She then asked are you from out of town and I said yes and explained that my doctor called in the prescription yesterday. She told me that they didn't have my medication and it would take up to two days to order it. I asked about other pharmacy's in the area and they said that the closest pharmacy was in Bishop. Now I have been 2 days without my prescription medicine. Needless to say we had to pack up and leave 2 days early to go back home to be able to get my prescription filled. Thank goodness for Kaiser because it was ready and waiting for me. I will never use that pharmacy again. They were really slow and they never answered the phones so you could never find out if your prescriptions were ready.

Oh, Marty. Where to begin…read more My friends and I were in Mammoth for the weekend, genuinely excited to support local businesses, when we made the unfortunate decision to step into his T-shirt shop. What we expected was charm. What we received was a masterclass in performative disdain. At 31 years old, I picked up a $5 teacup not to "run with," as was dramatically alleged from behind the register throne but because I was delighted by how adorable it was. Apparently, visible joy is prohibited. Marty barked at me to put it down, as though I were mid-heist rather than mid-smile. It was fascinating, really. You don't often encounter a business model rooted so firmly in hostility. The energy shifted instantly. Items we had every intention of purchasing were calmly returned to their shelves. As we walked out, someone reasonably observed, "You'd think you'd be grateful for customers supporting your local business." Marty's response? "I'm not grateful for customers." And there it was. Radical honesty. Needless to say, we along with several other shoppers exited in unison. If you're visiting Mammoth and enjoy being scolded by a crochety man for experiencing happiness near a teacup, this may be your spot. Otherwise, I'd recommend investing your money somewhere that understands the revolutionary concept of customer service. To be continued... Marty had a golden opportunity to respond with a shred of accountability. Instead, he chose fiction. I would never throw merchandise, nor was I disrespectful at any point. The second he barked at me to put down the $5 teacup, I calmly did so and promptly returned every other item I intended to purchase. I have no interest in funding hostility masquerading as "local charm." We left immediately and happily spent our money at the adorable bookstore next door where customer service still exists and dollars are welcomed. For the record, I fully intended to buy the items in my hands before his unnecessary outburst. Small businesses deserve support. Small egos with big tempers do not. I'd strongly suggest shopping elsewhere. Frankly, a 2.6 rating feels generous given our collective experience with this chronically irritable man.
