I brought in a new polo shirt wore only once with a small food stain on the sleeve, I asked for the stain to be treated, but I picked up the shirt it was still there. They said they would keep it and treat the stain, went back to pick it up and they got the stain out, but it had a rush stain 10 inches around on the rear of the shirt now, they then said they would take care of that, well that was last spring, I have left several calls and been there 8 times and they can not find my shirt or even return my calls. Usually good service and friendly employees. However, I had taken a winter coat in which was fairly new. It was a wool coat with faux leather striping and panels on the pockets. When I got it back all the striping and panels were in shreds. There is nothing I could do but dispose of the coat. He said it was the fault of the coat and it's material. So disappointed. And no compensation. Also took some small very nice exclusive bathroom rugs in, forgot about them because I was so busy taking care of elderly parents. When I remembered about them, he's sitting no longer had them . They were very nice, exclusive and expensive rugs. Cannot replace them. I wish I had just got a call to come and get them but nothing. Over 7 to 8 years of service, I've only had those two incidents, but they were very upsetting read more

Terrible customer service. Gave my suit to the wrong customer with same last name. Wants me to wait 22 days before replacing item. Owner screams at me as if that will make me give in to his rudeness. I asked for the other customer's phone number as he hasn't recovered it the 10 days it has been missing. He would not give it. came here after years at a place downtown to be closer to home huge mistake! my shirts were often wrinkled my pants starting getting zippers stuck and the owner blamed my suit material when they are custom suits from a high end tailor and I've never had an issue before. clearly operator error after speaking with other businesses and then he didnt want to keep paying for them to be fixed. put on a suit this morning that was a final run from his shop and wouldn't you know it the zipper is stuck! can't wait to go back now and make them fix it. read more

Friendly owner, nice employees as well. Dry cleaning services are very reasonable prices for good quality. My only warning is to avoid using their alteration services. My coat had a 2cm tear that's been fixed in the past. Now after the alterations, it's a huge eyesore. Looks like they used a large sewing machine. Green Street is not completely at fault, but whomever they use for alterations was very careless and spent little time on the fix. Called three times to discuss with owner, never returned any of my calls. As a long time customer, I'm disappointed. read more

HORRIBLE !!!!!!!! i dropped off my wedding dress to be cleaned and it was only the bottom i was concerned about because the tail is long. When i went to pick it up it was filthy dirty, still looking the same. NOTHING CHANGED! and wanted to charge me 89 dollars. I asked to speak to the owner on the phone and he yelled at me saying he wasnt going to go out of business because of people like ME! I asked why noone called me ? I needed it for such an important date its a WEDDING DRESS !!! He was rude and disrespectful and doesnt know shit about customer service or how to talk to someone on the phone who is asking why is the dress still dirty? NEVER AGAIN. Please do not come here. The owner/operator of Green Street Cleaners is the worst ever in customer service. He is rude and condescending. My husband and I entrusted our rug to be professionally cleaned by the cleaners. After all the sign in the window states 'We professionally clean area rugs'. DON'T BELIEVE IT! We brought our rug in to be cleaned, received it back in the same condition that we sent it out, dirty and it smelled dusty and moldy when we received it back. Greg sent it out a second time. This time it smelled better, but was still dirty. Oh No! Greg says that it could not be dirty because he sent it out a second time. He was rude, raised his voice and tried to make me think it was my fault. During this time period of over a month, it was difficult trying to contact Greg. He would not return phone calls. To this date almost three months later, he has not responded to a request by the BBB regarding my complaint. We paid Green Street Cleaners $144 up front in good faith that our rug would be cleaned. It was not! We have requested a refund through a certified letter, contacted the BBB and still have not received a response from Greg or the Green Street Cleaners. This is no way to run a business! Shame on you Greg and Green Street Cleaners!! I've read the other complaints from your customers. You cannot mistreat people, your customers, and expect your business to flourish.
