    Chicken Tenders and fries
    Meredith I.

I brought my granddaughters here for lunch before a movie. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Surprised to see it was extremely crowded, however we were seated fairly quickly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The wait staff was very efficient and friendly. They have a fairly large menu- pretty much anything one could want. My granddaughter's got an order of French toast and an order of chicken tenders and fries. They were very satisfied with their meals- plates were clean ! I had a special a salad with teriyaki shrimp and chicken. It was very fresh and nicely presented . All in all a good place for breakfast or lunch.

This is the Pinky. Sooo good!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]When I went here the place was absolutely packed and there was a wait.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once we got our table non of us regretted staying and waiting for the table. Service was great and the food was excellent. Definitely going to be back to try some other things I saw on the menu.

I ordered avocado toast with two over easy eggs to go using the DoorDash app. I live close by so I picked up my order at the exact time it said it was ready. The wheat bread didn't look toasted, it was soggy, the avocado was just plain, no salt or flavoring. The menu didn't specify there was spinach on top of the avocado toast and I definitely didn't order spinach. That definitely contributed to the bread being soggy. The order also came with hashbrowns which I wasn't aware of either. For health reasons, I just wanted plain avocado toast with eggs and pico. It was $14 and I'm really disappointed. Usually I have a great experience with the food here but I really have no idea what was going on this morning. But I did not enjoy my breakfast. I think that for to go orders, they need to be mindful of putting things on the side and letting patrons construct the food on their own.

I am a frequent goer of green street especially when I come back home from school! Great prices and fast service! Always yummy food and really good pancakes! Super busy always but the line goes fast!

AVOCADO TOAST--the toast has avocado, spinach, tomatoes, and two eggs! Served with hash browns, and delicious fresh decaf coffee. Yummy!

Always treated well here, they let us stay and talk and talk. I like getting breakfast or lunch (even at 1:00pm) and the servers are always super attentive

2 egg omelet with hash browns and sourdough bread

Came to Green Street Grill with 7 people and 3 kids. They were great at accommodating our large party on a busy morning with short notice. Taylor took care of us and was extremely attentive! We had someone in our party on a time limit and Taylor got her food in early. Food was extremely quick to come out and was so delicious!! Another server, Amanda, even took time to entertain the 2 year old we had with us. From the hostess to the busser, everyone at Green Street Grill was working hard to make sure we had a pleasant experience:)

How can I really suggest there is a sizable difference between Green Street Grill and virtually any breakfast place in any plaza?!? There is a difference. First, the service from host to server to busser is great. The menu is full of traditional breakfast offerings to unique. You have options for 2 egg or 3 egg omelettes, and one piece of toast or two. Makes sense. The Kennett Square omelette is delicious. Obviously mushrooms with spinach and onions, cheese. The French Toast cinnamon swirl is fantastic with a personal heated syrup on the side. Taylor is a great, attentive and positive attitude server. Early Fall outdoor seating is underrated, loved it.

We had a delicious breakfast Green Street Grill in Downingtown. We had The Bullotta, a menu staple, which is not for the faint of heart: bacon and bananas sautéed with honey poured over Texas French toast, topped with peanut butter. Liz, our server, was truly amazing. She was very friendly and checked on us throughout breakfast with a genuine smile. She even offered a fresh cup of coffee to go. We love Green Street Grill, but Liz made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend a stop if you're passing through. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Casual diner experience with quality food and menu options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great for families too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Favorite breakfast spot in Downingtown. When the family is all together this is where we go. Worth the wait!

Ambiance was nice enough and the music playing was a fantastic mix of classic rock. We both started with soup. My husband with the gumbo with cornbread and me with a daily special mushroom and brisket soup. Both were wonderful. The cornbread is off the hook and the gumbo was so flavorful with a really nice kick. Entrees were the pistachio crusted chicken for my husband. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside with crabmeat on top, served with garlicky mashed potatoes and some veggies. I had the shrimp and grits which is a go to item for me and they out did themselves. Shrimp was perfectly cooked and the grits were delicious with Tasso ham; just the right bite with some spice. Service was pleasant if a little slow but the food and music more than made up for it. Overall a great experience. We will definitely be back!!

The chicken was nicely crispy and moist and it appeared to be two boneless thigh pieces. The waffle was thin and light and eggy almost like a brioche dough. The syrup was a cholula maple which was all over. I would have preferred a side of it to put it exactly where I wanted it. I say that because there was also a side of potatoes and two slices of bacon on the plate, both which were good but didn't bring anything to the plate. I would have preferred a bit more waffle and maybe a bacon crumble. My dining partner ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich which was absent of any heat. It was well prepared, just not what was ordered. Service was pleasant and efficient.

When my friend said they filmed the Blob there, say no more! I love things like that. They did have "Blob" menu items but I needed some good old comfort food. I asked the super hustling single worker in the diner between meatloaf or chicken croquette. She said the chicken croquette. Unfortunately they were out. I changed to fried chicken. OMG! The crunch could be heard outside. It was seriously crunchy without being over fried. The mashed potatoes were fresh and lumpy. I asked for extra gravy. Very peppery and flavorful. The salad seemed freshly made. I like the salad dressing is individually packaged. Seems fresher that way. Colleen was super attentive for being the only wait staff there. Very sweet and comforting after all the rude airline employees I encountered. The restaurant is a converted train car. Very retro. I love the look of it. It felt right to sit at the counter. It was pretty full when we walked in. Very chrome. Very retro. Very cool place to dine. p.s. they are NOT open 24 hours.
