Drive up, order, & pick up your food at the window without ever getting out of your car. The only criticism would be that it's not a very contactless payment. Rolled through here one night for a study break and some Chinese food. Some friends from class said that is wasn't bad but by the looks of the place I was kind of worried lol. It's half drive through, half walk up and place your order. We all have them our order and food came out relatively quick. I ordered the spicy ginger chicken. It wasn't spicy, I couldn't taste any garlic and it was just overall not a good dish. I wasn't pleased with it. Didn't really taste anything like garlic chicken should lol. I did try my friends sesame chicken though and they wasn't bad. If I was forced against my will again to go then I would order that. I want to give them 3 stars but the food was just not that good. The Broccoli and chicken was doused in sauce and grease. The broccoli was over cooked and there wasn't much chicken. After reading the reviews we also ordered a sweet and sour chicken. The chicken pieces were small but ok. The best thing was the crab ragoon. Even that was a soupy crab mixture. The portion sizes are HUGE, which makes it easy to split between two meals. The prices are really fair for how much food you get, especially with the lunch specials. The food is delicious. Service can be a little slow at times, especially during the lunch rush hour, but they're fairly efficient. I work at the hospital down the road, so I love that Green Tea is quick and convenient for a 30 minute lunch break run. The exterior could use some cleaning up and the speaker at the drive thru sometimes sounds staticky, so it can be hard to hear the employees when ordering. read more

Love that the joint is a drive-thru. The ginormous menu is easy to read & understand & the speaker is clear. My go-to choice is Honey Chicken w/fried rice & it is always hot & delicious. It was cheap ($3 for a large), hot, and delicious (it even had veggies in there!). I also got egg drop soup (okay) and orange chicken (good). I ordered steamed dumplings, Kung pao chicken and shrimp with broccoli. I did get the dumplings which were good as far as steamed dumpling go, however the other two dishes were neither of the dishes I ordered. They were both bland chicken with some type of tasteless sauce. In both dishes the taste of corn starch lingered as they probably used it to thicken up the sauce. I'll start out by saying that I find it VERY difficult to find bad asian food. I know I've had it once, but that's 1 out of like 47 different restaurants so the odds are in Green Tea's favor. That said, Green Tea doesn't cross that line into exceptional territory. Its good asian food, served quick from either the drive through or walk-up window. There is no seating so you WILL be getting take-out from Green Tea. If you need a quick asian fix around south side Savannah, you could do worse...probably. read more

Don't waste your money. I got sesame chicken from here. I bring it home and quickly started to realize they had fried batter and smothered with sauce. I admit it wasn't obvious until I started to cut it up. Only about 4oz of chicken were buried in the pile of fried batter....pretty deceitful. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki. I got Chicken with vegetables. I called to complain about this and the guy answered the phone and kept telling me to add it to the line. Or kept asking me if I wanted vegetables. All I was asking is if the Chicken Teriyaki came with vegetables (never seen this). But there was no Teriyaki sauce in my food. He then proceeded to hang up on me. So with that, they don't get a good review from me. They need someone to understand and speak the English language if they are going to deal with the public.
