Chicken Spring Rolls Mongolian Beef FRIED RICE
    Brandi W.

I decided to try this restaurant while visiting Savannah. Located in a busy part of the city. When I went, there was a wait of maybe 20 minutes. I put my name on the list and just waited outside because there was nowhere to wait inside. 20 minutes at come and go and I haven't received a text or anything I decided to still wait. After a little more time I just decided to check on the list to see how long the weight will still be. And the guy immediately sent me. Which made me feel like he completely forgot about me being there, although I was standing outside the restaurant. I dying solo. I just decided to get the Mongolian beef as well as the chicken, spring rolls and fried rice. The food was OK. I think I'm used to Mongolian beef having a more sweet taste to it. This Mongolian beef was a little more peppery. My waitress did not check on me very much so I only had watered the one time. I had to ask for more water when I asked for my to go box. It wasn't busy inside. I just think she wasn't really paying attention to me. So in the back of the restaurant, there is a lounge called the Peacock lounge. It was busy from people walking in and going towards the back to access to lounge, but not the actual restaurant was super busy. I would go back to try a different items. Just wasn't a fan of the Mongolian beef.

Had a great time with some friends here for dinner. We chose to get a handful of things to share family style. We got the edamame, spicy pork and soup dumplings. All were SO tasty For entrees we shared - kung pao chicken 3/5 Japanese pork fried rice 5/5 Spicy braised tofu 4/5 Mongolian beef 5/5 I wished they tossed the peanuts in with the dish so it was coated with sauce and it didn't have a lot of flavor. Mongo was one of the best I've had, it had thin crispy pieces that were so delicious! We also shared some nigori sake ($35 per 330ml) which I thought was a bit steep but it was good quality. The cocktails were unique and tasty as well! Our service was good for the most part, we got our drinks and food quickly. The only thing was that there was cold condensation dripping off from the AC vent in the ceiling. Can't wait to come back!

Wow! We popped in here in our travels walking around Savannah, they seemed busy which is usually a good sigh! They were indeed very busy with a 40 min wait so we decided to just get a meal to go! Put in our order and came back about 20 min later to pick it up. We got General Tso chicken, and egg drop soup, with white rice. Took it back to our hotel and let me tell you we all devoured this food! lol It was so good! The chicken was real chunks of chicken lightly breaded and fried, broccoli was steamed perfectly! The soup was so flavorful! Pro tip add a lil rice to the soup! So yummy! On a cold night this hit the spot!

Our server, Alyssa... friendly, smart, and made for the best experience at FTTW!

The first place we visit in Savannah immediately after checking in to our hotel....delicious food and excellent service. Today'a visit was one of the best. Garlic chicken and broccoli, General Tso's chicken. Perfectly delicious. Alyssa was possibly the nicest server we ever had here.

Flock to the Wok is my go-to spot whenever I'm craving comfort food! I always start with the dumplings--they're the perfect way to kick off the meal. For my main, I usually gravitate toward one of their flavorful ramen bowls, but the Drunken Noodles are easily one of my all-time favorites. If you're looking for a delicious meal paired with an amazing atmosphere, Flock to the Wok is definitely the place to be!

My husband and I enjoyed our food. He ordered pork fried rice and pork seared dumplings. I ordered the egg drop soup and shrimp dumplings with sauce. Both pretty good. My only complaint is that my egg drop soup didn't have any green onions. Now looking at photos on Yelp, I see green onions in the photos for the egg drop soup. We ordered via Toast and it was ready in 20 minutes.

The sichuan rice is very flavorful and good. I would get it again. The wok fried rice (beef) is also very good. The mushroom and tofu dumplings were sooooo good! The spring rolls were good too. And the genghis khan beef was good too. But the drunken noodles was not good dont get that. The hot sauce in the jar was good. All in all a solid place to eat.

Food was delicious and the serving size was also decent. Would recommend for a good Asian food! The area is quiet and nice, however the service took very long. Plan early!

Come with me to Flock To The Wok, located in Downtown Savannah, GA. I went to Savannah to celebrate my friend's birthday, and she wanted to go to "Flock," her favorite restaurant, for her birthday dinner. I loved the location's aesthetics and the glass wall, allowing you to look into the kitchen. To start, we had their Fried Calamari. It was perfectly crispy, and the sweet and sour sauce was fresh and delicious. We also had dumplings and pan-seared dumplings. I'm usually not fond of traditional dumplings due to their texture, but they were delicious. For my main, I had their Lo Main with pork. The Lo Main had great flavor, and the pork was nice and tender. One thing I didn't like about the noodles was that they were cut, but they were delicious overall. Overall, I enjoyed Flock To The Wok. I can see why my friend loves it so much. Their service was amiable and attentive. Next time I need to check out their lounge area in the bottom floor.

food was DELICIOUS! we had several apps before ordering entrees but each each entree was great. prior to dinner we had drinks in the bar downstairs which is a must see. loved dining in the " birdcage". it's cozy tables and comfy seating . this spot would be an easy 5 star but our waitress was TERRIBLE. i wish it had been different because this had potential to be one of the BEST, but service was waayyy under par.

What a beautiful picturesque place to have some bites and cocktails!…read more I was welcomed into this moody, velvety spot with a sweeping view of the river. Beautiful glass, marble, deep colors of navy, mauve, and gold. Service was wonderful, felt welcomed immediately. For my appetizer, I had the crab cake with homemade tartar sauce, which was a light, bright way to start the evening. For my entree, I had the filet mignon. The server will tell you, the menu says tapas, but the servings are larger than that. Meat portions are generous at 6 oz. My only complaint is that I ordered my steak medium and got closer to well done. At least the steak was still moist and not dried out, but I would be hesitant to do the steak again. The spinach risotto I had with it was creamy and cheesy, however, so that was nice. Other options for food include burrata, a charcuterie board, grilled shrimp, sea bass, salmon, scallops. The cocktails are the real star here. They fall under the categories "strong and adventurous," light fare," and "signature." Non-alcoholic cocktails are also available. I started with the medusa 1597, under "strong and adventurous." Made with Old Tom Gin, extra dry vermouth, truffle, grapefruit, and amaro, it was extremely strong. A bold, slow sipper I would have done better to have later in the evening, but I still appreciate the complexity of it. I also had the Bella primavera, a lighter cocktail under the signature section. Made with pisco, blanc vermouth, French herbal liqueur, watermelon, and basil leaf. A smoother, brighter, faster sip than the Medusa. And I also had the blood orange martini, made with French vodka, blood orange, lime, and cranberry. A little sweet, but not cloying, and again, would have been a better starter as opposed to a closer. I think when I return, I will ask the bartender to make me off the menu drinks. This place seems creative enough that the outcome would be fantastic. I loved this place. The vibe, the view, the service, the offerings. Can't wait to see what more they have in store.

To share amongst the table, we ordered the cinnamon toast banane and crispy gouda grit croquettes. Thumbs up on both, particularly the croquettes which were the right balance of gooey and structured enough to eat with the delicious sauce on the side. The cinnamon toast banane was not so much toast as cinnamon rolls with bananas foster; the cinnamon rolls were really tasty and the bananas foster was good, though the bourbon flavor was strong. For my entree, I ordered one of the lighter vegetarian dishes - the mushroom tartine with tomato soup. I think it is one of the lighter dishes - certainly lighter than what my dining companions ordered - but it was still quite rich with a fair amount of gouda fondue in the tomato bisque soup. The mushroom tartine/sandwich was really flavorful with the pesto, cheese and tons of mushrooms. The restaurant is quite large with an upstairs seating area.
