We enjoyed our takeouts. Over all was much better than any other local Chinese restaurants in terms of flavor, greasiness and saltiness. Grilled fish: Not heavily seasoned , right amount of saltiness which is a huge plus for me. Some MSG ( I forgot to request NO MSG). But over all decent. I specially liked all mixed veggies in the dish, such as fresh bamboo shoots, black fungi, tofu, Chinese cauliflower, lotus, celery, Chinese asparagus, etc. this dish could be a 5 stars if used little oil. I had to use paper towel to degrease before eating it. Otherwise, nice aroma and soothing taste. Double-cooked pork. This dish is considered as a benchmark for any Sichuan cuisine restaurants. This one was very average. Excessive oil used in the dish made it less enjoyable. The dish was somewhat overcooked. It tasted too dry and no nice Guoqi. I couldn't taste flavor from fermented black beans. A pity. Wuxi ribs. Way too much oil! Too greasy! Cumin tofu. Enjoyed by my family. I had some dry red chill pepper pieces. Nice right amount of heat to mine for me. But pleasant. Shouldn't Green Tea be healthy and light ? A keeper for Sichuan food. It could be a real star if they cut down the amount of oil they used in all dishes. read more

Been here twice. First time the dumplings and lo mein were pretty good and our waitress was very nice. Complimentary tea was served to us and much appreciated. Only problem I had was that the sink in both bathrooms basically did not work. There was virtually zero water pressure so it's very difficult to wash your hands. Returned on a Friday night. Our waitress was friendly enough but never brought tea until we ordered it. That's no big deal though. I ordered the steamed chicken dumplings and the rice noodles with chicken. The dumplings were just not good this time. The outer noodle dumpling was good and cooked al dente, but the chicken filling inside had a very odd and unpleasant taste to it and I had to spit it out. The chicken rice noodle was alright, not my favorite but not bad. But what was bad was that I found a small hair wrapped up in the noodles. I know for a fact it wasn't my hair because my hair is very long. I didn't want to bring it up or make a big deal out of it because everyone at the restaurant was so friendly- but when they came and asked if I wanted to wrap it up to take home, I just politely and quietly let them know what I found in it. Our waitress kind of apologized, but I was left feeling bad like I was being unreasonable by even bringing it up. Anyway, we get the check and I see that not only is the rice noodle with the hair in it on the bill, but they also charged us for the tea this time. :( I also started feeling sick and had bowel issues later that night and into the next morning. Which leads me to this moment struggling on the toilet as I write this review. Absolutely would recommend!! Great spicy peanuts as a starter that's given when you sit down, delicious wonton soup and soup dumplings. We got a dry pot (chicken) and spicy style (tofu) and both were delicious. I got my dry pot slightly less spicy (my spice tolerance is low) and it was perfect. Food here is wild. As close to authentic you can get. Spice level is great and their numbing spice menu items are also tasty. I highly recommend their spicy flat rice noodles as a side to any of their meat dishes. Their hotpot portions are smaller but very dense and goes perfectly with rice or noodles. The shrimp with broccoli wasn't bad as although the shrimp was a bit chewy. Finally the dumplings were just weird. I would not recommend them. This is the only place that I know of in Suffolk county that has such great Chinese food. The menu has a variety of items, If you choose to try something that you would never dare I'm sure they made it tasty. Whenever I come here I get the sautéed green bean, try it you'll understand why I can't go without them. The braised fish (flounder) in chili sauce isn't too spicy. You can request how hot you want it. Everything was very fresh and flavorful ( fresh is flavorful). The waiter was very patient and answered all of my friends questions. I have been here at least three or four times and every time has been an excellent experience. This is not the kind of restaurant that you come to for the ambience because the decor is just simple, however, the food is outstanding. I have never had Chinese food! Waitress was demanding us to pay more tip??? We felt peer pressured, trapped and shocked. The tip we gave was the tip we wanted to give. It was very disrespectful. We should have took the tip we originally gave back for how rude that was. You are not suppose to look at the customer when they are paying. Very bad service. The way she said it was very mocking as well " dont you think this is too little?" Love this restaurant! When you first sit, you are greeted with some delicious hot peanuts and delicious jasmine green tea. Their menu has a lot of great choices. They have some of the most authentic Chinese dishes around. We love their boiled zhong dumplings and the leek dumplings. My favorite is the malo tofu. The first time I went there with my friend the service was passable but we had to wait a long time for the waitress to acknowledge us. The food was good. The second time we went there, after paying she demanded a 15% + tip eventho I tipped her 10%. She rudely started telling me to tip and stared me down. I did tip more because I did not want any argument. As I was also taking a takeout, and needed a bag...she literally threw the plastic bag on my jacket and huffed away. Mind you that the service was terrible, not once did she come during our lunch to ask us if we needed anything and it wasn't a busy hour. Wanted to get something spicy and the menu here was quite interesting. My friend is not into spicy so we had the challenge of finding a place that could accommodate. I ordered the fish in chili sauce and the double cooked pork w leek. His choices were sesame chicken and cold noodles. My spicy dishes were no problem and tasty too. His though, weren't quite up to par but mostly because of mis communication. Cold noodles ordered he wanted cold sesame noodles and they brought jelly noodles, we had to reorder the dish (second time worked) and his sesame chicken was more of an orange chicken flavor. Overall service was quite good though we got charged for both noodle dishes. I will come back but my friend will not be as eager. read more
