Andy and his crew are awesome. My windows were literally thousands less than the big name folks on the tv commercials from the Sacramento area. Got me all of the doors and windows that I wanted, the others couldn't install the French door I wanted, and installed them in a couple of days. I had all the windows and 2 doors installed. The timing was great too. A few days later we had a heat wave and my house was 5 degrees cooler than with my old windows. Also a lot of the outside noise isn't heard anymore. This company was fantastic from start to finish!! Andy came and took measurements at our house, explained the differences between different brands of windows and made suggestions on what he thought would best suit our needs. He recommended getting triple pane windows to cut down on road noise since we are next to a busy street. He then got back to us with a very reasonable quote within the week. On the day of install it was very hectic because I also had painters outside painting the trim and doors, and I had my two young children at home with me. Andy and his crew worked quickly and efficiently and managed to get all 16 windows installed in one day. They did a great job, didn't mind working around the painters (and my inquisitive toddler), and showed me the temperature readings on the inside pane of glass, which was more than 20 degrees cooler than on the old window! The house looks beautiful and updated with the new windows and I can definitely feel a difference in energy efficiency. My A/C is no longer going right out the windows! :) It is also amazing how much quieter it is now. The triple pane glass really helped. read more

I had one window on the second floor with a large crack that got bigger and bigger over the months, with some chipped glass in between the dual pane window, so I finally decided to replace the window with a window from Green Technology that blocks out UV rays from the sun. When the sun is shining directly on this new window, it feels much cooler than my regular glass window nearby. I measured the temperature difference with a room thermometer on the window sill and the difference was about 6 degrees, but the difference feels much greater when your whole hand is touching the glass. So I have concluded that summer time would be the most beneficial time of year to have this type of UV blocking glass. Winter time better to have glass that lets in more heat. Other pros and cons would be whether you have plants or paintings. Plants would need UV light, but paintings would prefer not to have UV light to prevent color fading. I can't tell the difference visually looking at both types of glass on my windows, which is good if you don't want to change out all the windows of your house. I will probably eventually change out the rest of the windows in that one room of the house since it gets the most sun and it is the room I sleep in. Savings in air conditioner use in the summer time would be good. I would have given 5 stars if I didn't have to clean the new window myself. There were finger prints on the glass after the installation. read more

I contacted Matt based on recommendation from a friend. We wanted to replace windows and patio doors of the whole house with dual paned windows/doors. Matt was prompt to come over to Sunnyvale from Manteca over the weekend to take a look, give sincere recommendations and take measurements and he provided a quote soon afterwards. I had a good experience with Green Technology windows and Doors. They replaced 15 windows and a sliding door in my home. From my experience Andy is an honest businessman and is not pushy like other salesmen or quotes I had. In fact their price was fair and better then the big companies for the same windows. The timeline of the work was exactly what he said and his crew was friendly and professional. In fact one of the windows needed some fine adjustment on the lock latch due to the manufacturing of the window NOT installation. He and his crew got together and carefully removed some of the material to make it work correctly. The alternative would have been to call a Millard representative and have them come out and fix it. This may have taken weeks. I am so happy they fixed it instead of waiting. This is a family own business and he does what's right. Not so easy to find. I needed a sliding door and two large windows replaced - they were old, badly installed and in need of help. I visited a few places and read on yelp. I asked green technology for a quote. Andy was very prompt and gave a quick estimate of what could be done. He was able to advise on what was the best buy for my needs (and budget) - I had to move slowly as I was in process of purchasing the house (rent to own situation) and needed to ensure I was able to purchase before buying the windows.
