They replaced one of my springs. But they did not calibrate it with the motor or check for safety. The garage door went down on my trash can and kept pushing down and didn't go back up causing the garage door to cave in. They were called back and refused to fix it or take responsibility and tried to tell me i needed a whole new door. Another company came out and fixed it and calibrated everything. I left this review because if the garage door came down on a person they would have been crushed, and the fact they didn't offer to fix it or know how to fix it is concerning. Matt did a few things for me, all of them were awesome! The tricky one was replacing a standard gate with a motor and swing gate. So I can get into my backyard without having to walk out and manually open 2 different gates. Super cool swing arm and motor! He also repaired the springs on 2 other garage doors, as well as replacing the garage door motors. He did some minor repairs to extend the life of my doors also. He explained everything, gave me options, and then did what he said he was going to do. We have utilized several Garage Door Service providers for our Henderson home. I would like to tell you about an experience this week with Rapid Response Garage Door Service. First let me say that I highly recommend this company and it's owner Matt. We needed to replace our door springs, not because they had failed, but it was clear they could fail at any moment given their age. I spoke with Matt by telephone (cell 725 777 8788) he answered and promised to be at our home between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm. He arrived within the promised time frame, evaluated the condition of our door and springs. I found him to be honest in his comments and allowed him to service our door. At the conclusion I said that from now on Rapid Response Door Services will be our resource for garage door services. Apparently there are a lot of crooks in the garage door service business here in the Las Vegas Valley. I say call Matt for honest professional service. read more

Rapid Response is just looking for easy money. My garage door was randomly not closing all the way. They sent a representative out within 3 hours of calling, so yes, response was rapid. I showed the representative how the door wasn't closing. He immediately, I mean immediately, said both safety sensors at the bottom of the door must be replaced. He would do it for $550. I told him I thought that was outrageous, and I needed to get other quotes for comparison. I checked Amazon - the sensors are available for $17 for a pair. It takes maybe an hour to install them. I also found an article explaining that sunlight can interrupt the sensors, and my door gets a lot of sun. So I taped a piece of a toilet paper tube on one of the sensors as a shade for the lens, and now the door is working fine. New sensors wouldn't have fixed anything. Stay away from Rapid Response. Matt was very good. My tenant reported the garage door wasn't opening the door itself, not the electric opener). After looking through Yelp, I contacted a couple of places. Matt arranged a time with the tenant to see the property, then called me immediately. He said he could fix the door, but said it would be a patch only. He then quoted a price for the new door, including installation, which was far better than his competitors. Rapid Response is awesome! I always worry about getting ripped off when calling a service company, but I fully trust Matt and would not call anyone else. Our garage door broke on a Saturday afternoon - open halfway. We immediately panicked thinking no one would come out until Monday. I called Matt and he said he could be there within the hour. He was! We told him we wanted needed to go the cheapest route possible to fix it. He bent the metal track straight instead of charging us for a new track and put the whole door back on it's track in about 20 minutes. He suggested we get new rollers since ours were worn but didn't push us. My garage door would not open and they were very kind to come out to the house within 24 hours. They told me my door was too heavy and that I needed a new opener. Their quote was $580. Check to see if this was covered by my home warranty and it was. I called them they sent out a different company, and had my door fixed in 90 seconds.
