UPDATE 4/20/24: Wow, long time since I've played bingo at GVR! Bingo was actually one of the very first games I played at a casino on my 21st birthday, and the last time I played was when I left my previous review for them, which was way back in 2017! My parents invited me to play bingo with them on a Friday afternoon. I don't have school on Friday's and it's close to the end of the semester, whereas I really don't have a lot of work to do in any of my classes as of now, so I figured, of course. Keep in mind that they do not accept debit/credit cards of any kind. It's cash only if you wish to play, but they have plenty of ATMs around the casino if you don't have cash on hand. Bingo markers are available for purchase here if you want to use a paper bingo card but don't have a marker of your own. You still get the choice of using a paper bingo card or an electronic bingo card (big or small). I used an electronic bingo card last time, but this time I used a paper bingo card. Each session contains 13 different games with a unique way to win each game using 6 different bingo card sheets. Each session takes about an hour, with the next one starting another hour later, and some sessions even have their own theme. Though we didn't win anything, we still had a fun time here. I'd definitely want to come back here and play more often. read more

What was intended to be a relaxing evening with friends turned into a distressing and humiliating situation due to the way your staff and management handled an alleged issue. In the middle of our game, my group was abruptly interrupted and accused of stealing without any clear explanation or evidence. We were treated as though we had done something deceitful and were even threatened that the "eye in the sky would be viewed if we didn't give money back that was paid out in error, which made it appear as though we were being investigated for theft. This was both insulting and entirely inappropriate. To make matters worse, this confrontation occurred publicly, embarrassing us in front of other guests and disrupting the experience for everyone around us. At no point were we given accurate information about what had supposedly occurred, nor did anyone offer an apology once it became clear that we had done nothing wrong. The handling of the entire situation reflected a serious lack of professionalism and leadership. It appeared that the bingo hall manager did not know how to manage the incident properly, and that the employees were not equipped with the proper training or understanding of customer service expectations. My group left your property feeling humiliated, upset, and confused, emotions no guest should experience at your establishment. The way this was handled not only made us all feel very uncomfortable but also raised real concerns about how guests are treated in your bingo hall. Your guests deserve an environment that is both welcoming and fair. I hope you take this feedback seriously and take the appropriate steps to prevent this kind of experience from happening again. I've also privately reached out to you over 3 weeks ago and GVR has yet to respond. I'm not asking for anything but ask that the behavior be addressed. We decided to give this place a try to play a little bingo on a Monday night, the place was not busy at all which is good. We were able to pay and get our electronic cards pretty quickly and was told we get 2 free drinks. We opted for electronic and not paper and tbh it was ok but, nothing spectacular and I'm not sure I want to do the electronic cards in the future (even though those seemed to be the only ones getting bingo) which is a bit strange if you ask me. My two friends were singled out and told to take off their face paint while I saw multiple people in the room with face paint on. I went and asked the doorman why my friends had to take their face paint off. He said ...that the manager approved other people to wear their mask and face paint. My two friends had green face paint for shrek and the woman had white for Beetlejuice. This is terrible! Bingo! A few friends asked me to go play bingo. It has been a very long time since I've played. I didn't know electronic machines do all of the work for you were used now! I was expecting tons of bingo sheets and daubers with lucky troll dolls sitting around. You still have the option to use paper bingo cards as well as the electronic machine. The bingo room is large and clean. They offer an enclosed smoking area for bingo players as well. The bingo callers and staff are all pleasant with a great sense of humor. The open bar staff have been friendly and helpful as well! I had the opportunity to be there on New Years Eve for their bingo event. Such a fun time with great winning payouts. It's very modern with a separate clear glass enclosed section just for smokers so you can make funny faces and throw things at the wall lol The opening week was rough, the staff was getting settled and some of the players seemed to have never played bingo before, seriously I counted 5 times where someone called bingo and didn't have anything. The low-point was during cover all and someone yelled bingo and the called said "Sir- I haven't even called enough numbers to have a bingo yet". Weeks later the room runs much smoother and the players seem to have learned the rules. Will it ever be as fun and full of energy like Red Rock? Maybe not, but it's still fun! read more

The smoking section is in an enclosed room that is pretty much all clear windows to see everything going on outside. Grab your cocktail or beverage before if you get the paper game. Sometimes you might miss one when the cocktail waitress comes around. Don't expect fancy drinks. It is usually standard beers and well drinks options. But you can play on paper for as cheap as $6. You can upgrade at your risk. I play a lot and NEVER win so I don't' get too crazy on spending it. It is a cheap fun experience that last 2hours with 2 complimentary cocktails. Don't forget to tip the cocktail waitress when you get drinks and the employees who pay you out when you win. GOOD LUCK! read more

This used to be the showroom at GVR. They've made good use of the space by turning it in to a bingo room. It's located very close to the Race and Sports Book and is easily accessible from both the Paseo Verde Garage and the adjacent lot. Pretty typical Stations Casinos bingo room. It's almost identical to Red Rock's room, only smaller. It's a good size room, with plenty of tables and seating and a large caller stand. The smoking section is completely separate - it's a glass enclosed room in the back. So you can be sure that it's not a smoky room. Everything still seems shiny and new. We were there on a Sunday and it wasn't crowded at all. They offer lots of specials and packages and they always seem to have huge cash balls. They also have drink service (2 drinks per person complimentary), but the beer selection is pretty lame. Overall, it's a nice room. With sessions on the odd hours starting at 9am (with free donuts!), it's worth checking out! Note: It's cash only, like every other bingo room in Vegas. Somehow I still always see people trying to pay by debit/credit. Better hit the ATM, noob! read more

Thieves!! Was there once and only once, given my experience. Went with a small group and purchased paper bingo sheet packs...turns out they're worthless and impossible to win on. Literally every other person playing (that wasn't in my party) was using a mindless digital tablet, and when buying our packs, we we not advised that no one wins without. The numbers are called at blazing fast speed (again not an issue with digital, as you do nothing whatsoever but call bingo), and when we asked for them to be called slower for the sake of my senior citizen dad, we were two things: first that they couldn't take longer than they were (10 seconds maybe?). Secondly, and most alarmingly, we were told to stop looking for matches after finding a number on 2 of 6 boards on the sheet, because 2 is the most it can ever occur on! Think about that for a second. They told us it's rigged and not random. They weren't kidding. Julie, the counter salesperson and caller, was unfriendly and unhelpful in explaining rules to first timers. Laurie, the manager, was unapologetic and completely unhelpful in addressing our very valid concerns. We weren't offered so much as invitation back for a free round after asking for refunds before half the games were over. Flat out denied, without so much as a sorry for their deception and misrepresentations. Station employee name name tags may read "we love locals", but they clearly only love their bottom line. I am being generous in giving this place a single star! I have never gone to a bingo room where you can't talk or laugh! Even s library allows more. Only nice person was the woman that checked us in. We were continually harassed. Then when we left the queue room to the larger room, we were just talking at our table, which was not near any of the 6 people in there, when security decided to ask us to leave saying that we were smoking in undesignsted area. This was completely false and then he tried to give another reason, which was also untrue. We were trying to accommodate the quiet room by leaving and weren't in the big room but 2 minutes before being told we were to leave. Since when did playing Bingo become so serious. You PLAY Bingo! Key word is play. Supposed to have a good time. Not feel like you are at a funeral pausing for the moment of silence for an hour!!! Shame on this place!!! Last night my girlfriends and I played during the 7 pm session at the GVR bingo hall. This was probably one of the best bingo experiences I've ever had. When we walked in Chad helped us purchase our packs. He was extremely helpful in answering our questions and making sure we got what we wanted. He was also funny! All of the employees were truly engaged with the guests and you could tell they really enjoyed their job! Ugh...can you say "rigged" any more than sitting through 2 days of a bingo tournament, all day long, and getting on 1 time? We play all over the US including other Vegas casinos. I can say without a doubt I have never witnessed such a fixed tournament EVER! All big wins went to Red Rock, a couple to Palace. That left the scraps for GVR players who gleefully cheered when they split a $1000 between 4 people! Needless to say on top of the terrible play, they lied when we made our reservations 3 months in advance that we picked stationary machines then placed us on hand helds. The free lunch was a sack lunch with a cold sandwich with wilted lettuce and a soggy apple. Heads up folks....San Manuel in CA tournament is 3xs better, payouts way higher & NOT LINKED. So, a few days ago I went to play bingo, HUGE mistake unless you know the caller & floor person. I noticed a couple sitting a table over talking to the floor person before bingo started, you could tell they were friends. Guess what? That couple won 6 times between the 2 of them, yes, the floor person kept laughing & talking as well as the caller as they were winning, the guy who was winning even flipped the caller off in fun as the caller kept kidding with him. Okay, of course it could just MAYBE be a coincidence. So, tonight, I went again. AMOTHER bad decision on my part. The same floor person, now sitting next to another player, maybe a aunt or mother, talking and laughing throughout bingo & this person wins 4 games ALL BY HERSELF on double & triple payouts. NO, I doubt this is a coincidence anymore. Yeah of course I have won their, like a whooping $5 once & $13 another time because there were so many winners, just find it hard to believe that these people were "just lucky" & won all by themselves while clearly they knew the floor person.
