Got together with a small group of friends to play regular bingo and rock shot bingo at Red Rock's bingo room. The rock shot bingo theme was 90's hip hop. Being a 90's baby myself, my nostalgia mind was fully activated. Rock shot bingo at Red Rock is held on the last Thursday of every month. I've played regular bingo before, but this was my first time playing rock shot bingo and I was very excited to see what they had in store. I had completely forgotten that bingo sessions were cash only (I don't play bingo or gamble very often lol), so I had to find an ATM machine to withdraw cash from. Fortunately, there's one just a short walk away from the bingo room. Present your ticket to retrieve two complimentary drinks at their bar area (minimum two per person, two per session). I got myself a California Love cocktail, which was really good. A whopping 607 people were in attendance, which was a record-breaker for this event. The live DJ in attendance did a great job keeping the crowd hyped throughout the entire event! The bingo card covers were also unique, such as in the shape of a smiley face, a full martini glass, and a wine bottle. When somebody wins a game, the winner and everyone sitting at their entire table are given a Jell-O shot. And that's how rock shot bingo works, if you haven't played it yet. One morning, my cousin and I decided to make a bingo day as one of the activities to do. Decided to go here. We played some slots while we waited for the next session. Headed to the bingo room bout quarter til the next session. The lady who assist us was very helpful. We paid our $35/person for our session, which came with two drinks. Grabbed our seats then headed to the concession to get our drinks. We were able to use our two drinks as a double of whiskey, so we wouldn't have to come back for our second. Customer service is top notch and they always help me figure out which cards to get. 7pm and 9pm games have some double action- A plus! 2 free drinks per session- don't forget to tip! The First Lady who sold it to use seemed like she hated her job so she wasn't super helpful with explaining what to do, and we were first timers. But we asked another guy for help and he was super nice!! He saved if for us. Gave us the patterns and a dabber to help us redab a different color on page 1 because we messed up the first dab! We played the 6 card regular game that was recommended for first timers, at the counter by the lady that messed up our change, with blotters. About a month and a half ago I started playing Bingo with my friends at some of the station Casinos. What started as a "Sure I'll play, why not?" has turned into a weekly session? I've only played Bingo at two Casinos here in Vegas, but the Red Rock Bingo Room is definitely my favorite. And yea...we are usually the youngest group in the room when we play, but it is still fun! This Bingo Room is huge and it has a separate areas for smoking and on smoking which I think is a wonderful perk. Now compared to the other station casino I have been too, Red Rock feels significantly nicer. They have nice tables where groups can sit together, good lighting, and large bingo board so you can double check that you didn't miss any numbers. Games run every two hours and you have tons of options of what you want to play. I defiantly recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early so you can get your cards because there is often a line. I'm a newbie so I just play the six cards on paper with two one dollar bonus rounds (my total comes out to $7), but if you want to go fancy you can get the larger 12 card paper pack or the electronic bingo machines. Also don't forget your dabber (the bingo markers), but in case you do they have them for a dollar in a vending machine in the back in a variety of colors. For the bingo drinkers out there, I recommend heading over to the bar as soon as you get your cards. You can get two drinks, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, at a time before you get started dabbing away. Just a warning though once the numbers start getting called you can't get drinks from the bar. If you miss the early drink window or you don't want to risk missing the first game, you can always wait for a cocktail waitress to come around for orders. Overall, give it a try! Most of it is non-smoking and the smokers are sent to a glassed in private room so they don't bother everyone else. Red Rock is just too far away from me, so I don't play there very often. But the service is fast and friendly, all Stations casinos offer good package deals on electronic units and there is the possibility of winning big money. We actually played the "Rock, Shot Bingo" on a recent Thursday and it was a blast. It's like a big party, with a DJ and free shots! But if you go to the night sessions over the weekend the place is hoppin' and gets full of mostly young to middle aged, normal looking people. The games started and people were still trying to purchase bingo packages. Decided to stick around for the 7pm belated "New Years" event because of a special drawing of prizes if you played a certain amount of money the last 4 weeks leading up to today, you automatically earned entries for the drawing. You had to be present and swipe you players card in, as well as, purchase a package to play to be eligible for todays drawing. Absolute wastes of time and money, the first 5 names called for the drawing, the individuals were not even present. Basically, they called individual names of people who earned entries, but weren't present at the session. They couldn't even filter out the names so that the entries of people present would only be drawn. Then, whoever was running the event postponed the event and offered a free small rainbow pack for the next session, at 9pm, if you purchase another package. All this with not rescheduled date. You couldn't even get a voucher for another time if you didn't want to stay for another session. Not the best customer service decision. read more

The video machine does all the work for you on the digital cards while you are daubing away on the paper cards... you could win on either. Because we did both it costs us $25 each for an hour of fun. And it came with 2 free drinks. Definitely come early because the line is long and you need time to get your cards. Then get your drinks and find a place to sit before they start. Took my 82 year old mom, as I try to do every couple of weeks to Bingo. One of the attendants, who is also a cashier, was completely RUDE THE ENTIRE TIME. I understand the COVID announcements regarding masks, but she was walking around and scaring a few of the elderly with keeping their masks on even while trying to drink their coffee or water. She did not let the cocktail lady walk around once the game started to take orders in fear that people would have their masks off. THE RULES ARE INSANE!!! It IS NOT FUN!! Either change your attitude towards your guests or lose them. If we walk in and that horrible woman is there, we are walking out. There is no need to treat adults so poorly. I'm a new fan of Bingo. I'm a fan of this Bingo Room at Red Rock Casino. My cousin came to visit, and for some reason I was in the mood to play Bingo. I have never played it in a casino. The last time I did play was in 8th grade with the whole school. I guess I forgot how stressful it can be. I don't know how the little old ladies do it. I had my stampers and looking at 6 sets of squares as the numbers were yelled out (really fast, in my opinion) was quite stressful. I didn't win one game, but I am sure that is because I missed a number here and there. But, for $10 it is an hour well spent. My cousin and I laughed the entire time because we were so serious about the game. If you have never played, it is very easy to learn, and the people at the cashier desk are super helpful. We opted to play both methods- stamping the cards and the automatic machine. Because we were so focused on the stamping the card, we didn't take advantage of the free drinks. But, if you want to just hang out- get the automatic machine and let it do the thinking for you. This venue is great because not only is it huge, but the smokers are corralled into a separate room, so you can actually breathe easy while you play. Be careful when you're at the cashier, they are smart people and ask you if you'd want to "add an extra $1" for certain games. By the time your done at the cashier, the $5 level 1 card turns into additional pull tabs, progressive games =$15+. It can add up. *Tips* -Don't forget to bring your own dauber. If not they sell it for $1 -DRINKS! You're allowed 2 complimentary drinks during each session (alcoholic beverages, hot chocolate, water, etc). To start off this review, let me tell you about my night. a group of friends and I decided to go play bingo and what better way to enjoy it was to get drunk, so we pregamed before hand. It was our first time experiencing the bingo life together. Of course it involves cash prizes so you have to be able to show and verify ID of 21 and older. Now keep in mind, this game involves money so many of the players are serious about the focus in the environment so don't go screaming belligerenty drunk lol. But at least you'll make friends if you do it the right way lol. There is a cashier counter, where you can purchase he old fashion bingo cards on paper which is pretty cheap starting at $14 for 5 games in the 1 hour of playing. If it's your first time doing this I recommend having fun with the paper bingo, but if you're serious on winning, go with the electronic bingo devices. I tell you this because the person that yells out the numbers (ex. B9, I26, N34, G55, O76) goes really fast as if you're in a car auction giving you less time to find the numbers on a big sheet of paper. This makes it very frustrating for players, especially if someone were to be handicap or and elderly who prefers the old fashion bingo paper over an electronic device. I wish they could revamp their ways and slow it down for all of us. They also provide the numbers they called out shown on a big screen. It still doesn't help when you're trying to keep up still looking for it by how fast they're calling out numbers. If you do feel the need to drink during the game to have fun or after your losses, they have a bar inside providing free complementary well drinks with game purchases.
