This included some large branches already under the trees. My wife and I were completely blown away by the amount of cleanup that was done. I requested a free quote on their website and Geoff showed up the same day. Geoff was very personable, talked me through the project (we needed branches from neighbors tree cut) and he even walked me through my yard to talk about the other trees/health status. Of the 3 other quotes we received, Above & Beyond was the most reasonable and quite honestly the only one that made me feel comfortable with moving forward. Project was completed yesterday (since the date of the quote to the project completion, it took about 3 weeks which was even earlier than expected). The work was done within a couple of hours, no damage to the yard, and everything was picked up. Geoff is someone who cares about his company and his customers - you will be satisfied!

Mike came out and gave a quote on Monday (first the desk person told me he…read morewould just be calling in Monday to set up a time to come out, what I got was a call from him on Monday saying he would be at my house in fifteen minutes, that lack of communication should have been enough of a red flag). He then pushed for me to schedule for the job to be done that Wednesday or Thursday. I told him I needed to talk to my wife as the job was going to cost $4,000. He told me that if i agree to it, he will put it in the schedule, but I can cancel it if needed, no worries. I agreed but asked for it to be scheduled the following week instead of this week. On Tuesday Night, I looked over our finances and other projects and decided we needed to push this project out. I reached out to Mike on Wednesday morning and told him I needed to cancel and would have to look at doing this in the spring or summer. He pushed to keep the job, when I told him I can't do it at this time, he wanted to know what the other projects were and then flipped out claiming the work was scheduled to be done that day (Wednesday, two days after the quote) I never agreed to have work done this week, he never reached out about scheduling for next week, like I had requested or even told me he planned to do the work this Wednesday. He just planned to show up without my knowledge or permission to be on my property and start cutting down trees. Avoid this company at all costs.

I requested quotes from several local tree services in our area. Curran's quote came in the middle…read moreof the prices received. The gentleman who came buy to find out the scope of work, to base the quote on, was knowledgeable about trees preservation and pleasant to work with. We chose Curran based on the price and company expectation. We were told they would bring their Spider Lift to reach the limbs we wanted pruned. The staff laid plywood across the lawn so as to not leave tracks in the soft turf and blocks under the legs that stabilize the lift. The crew worked well together and the foreman made sure our expectations had been met as to the scope of the work. The clean up was pretty good. A couple of branches were missed in between our hedgerow but nothing crazy. We did a rake to sweep up small bits that were missed, but all in all I have no complaints. No damage was done to the yard or other plants which sadly I have experienced with other companies in the past. Curran made sure when a branch fell, it would be out of the way of the hedges, nearby trees and fences. It's been a couple of months and the trees are doing well and look great. I would gladly use Curran again. They were all pleasant to interact with and made sure we were happy before they left. We paid by check and received a receipt before they departed. Took a couple of hours for two very large trees on opposite sides of the property.

From start to finish, he made the whole process smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was the quality of his work and the speed at which he completed it. A Norwegian Maple tree can live for over a hundred years, that's a long time but eventually the tree comes to the end of it's life and wants to fall down and go to sleep. Unfortunately that's not always a gentle and easy thing. We had three Norwegian Maples in our yard that were obviously in tough shape and looking more and more decrepid every year. We live in a very windy area and vicious gusts are constantly screaming off Narragansett Bay at up to 40 and 50 knots that rip off any branches that aren't healthy and strong. So as more and more large brances started falling off the venerable trees we became concerned that one of the large chunks of wood would come down on our carriage house or worse yet someone's head. So we called DeNoncour Tree Service and they came out and gave us a reasonable estimate. chopped down the trees, hauled them away and cleaned up. They obviously knew what they were doing, had the proper equipment, and the job was done quickly, efficiently and without anyone getting killed. Trees are nice creatures and I hated to see them go but it definitely was time for those Norwegian Maples to move on. DeNoncour Tree Service professionalism made our loss less painfull.
