My family loved this place! It was clean, very cute and so comfortable. The owner is so responsive and SO kind. The river was beautiful and listening to it at night had my entire family sleeping great. You are right down the road from Clark's bears and there is a water park right across the street. It's minuets away from a great mini golf place and lots of great food options. The cabin had a roku tv so we could throw on a cartoon for a cranky toddler midday. Overall wonderful location, super cute place and great owners. We will be back! read more

Spent the weekend with my boyfriend. It was great. I was amazed how close to the river the cabins were located. It was such an awesome sound to wake up to. Here are the highlights: *great price *super friendly owners * great location- close to so many attractions. It was right on the bike trail and so easy to get to from the highway. And despite it being on the main road, there was no traffic at night and the sound of the river drowned out everything anyway. *very cute *well maintained- all the linens smelled really fresh We booked last minute and had to stay in a different cabins each night. The owners helped us move our stuff. Just to note, cabin 8 is the only one not on the river, although I could still hear the rushing water from the open window at night. Also, like others said, the pictures make them seem bigger than they are, but not a problem, because we came to be outdoors and not stay in the cabin all weekend. The two cabins we stayed in (2 and 8) had full size beds (vs queen beds) which was a little tight for us. I think some of the other cabins offer a queen bed, which we would try and get next time. Also, the wireless was a little intermittent, but again, I didn't care that much since I was there to enjoy the outdoors. We would definitely come back! read more

There were two things we wanted when we planned our trip to NH: 1. A clean cabin and 2. A fireplace. We got both of these things by staying at the Green Village Cabins. We stayed in Cabin 8 which is a very small one room cabin with a small fridge and a microwave. Since we didn't plan on being in the cabin much, the size wasn't an issue. As I mentioned, it has a working wood fireplace and it was clean-though I do have to admit that the shower kind of worried me a bit only because it's concrete. It was clean though and didn't have any noticeable mold. (I'm just funny about stepping on community showers!) The downsides were the small couch (it doesn't really allow you to snuggle in front of the fire when you're tall), the lack of an outlet in the bathroom (we may have been in a cabin, but a girl still needs to dry her hair for a night out!) and the fact that they only gave us 4 hangers. To their credit, I am sure that if I asked for more, they would have happily given them-the owners are VERY nice and friendly. I was surprised when I pulled up to see that the cabins were right on the road and not in the woods. All of the cabins in this area are like this, however, so don't judge them by that. The next time we stay though, I would book any other cabin than #8 because it's the only one whose porch faces the road and not the stream in back. It's also REALLY right on the road and during the day we could hear all of the trucks driving by. All of this melted away though, when we were sitting in front of the fireplace. read more

We stayed here for a single night when spur of the moment we decided to come up and spend New Years Day in Lincoln. The cabin was warm, cozy, and clean. My biggest complaint was that whatever liner they used on the mattress and pillows beneath the linens made my boyfriend and myself sweat like crazy. We even turned the heat way down at night and I still woke up sweaty. The bathroom was really small but we made it work with another mirror by the bed, also, they don't provide a hair dryer! They do include a list of room amenities when you make an online reservation so that's my bad. Wet hair in 10 degree weather was not fun. The decor could use and update as well as the carpet, but I guess you don't stay in a cabin for either of those. Also the wifi was pitiful and the cable very fuzzy. Will defiantly stay here again! read more

My girlfriend and I decided to spend Presidents day weekend up there in Lincoln, NH to celebrate our late Valentine's day. We looked online for some cozy, intimate and fairly priced cabins up there and after doing some research, GVC seemed like the best call. We called and talked to Patty over the phone about prices, amenities, location, and what types of attractions we'd have near the place. Patty was very helpful in answering all of our questions. The cabins look smaller than they are in pictures so don't let photos fool you. We booked cabin 0 (zero) and were very happy with the decision. The place was spotless, very well maintained, and warm enough for these February nights (which reached -10F at one point). The cabin's only problem we dealt with was that it had no heating in the dining table area (which faces the Pemi river and it's a sweet little view through the windows while you eat). We ate our late Valentines meal in that area with some hoodies on. No biggie. I definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be going there again sometime soon to try the other cabins as well. read more

Great time, the new owners are so nice and funny, very personable. The cabins are clean and accommodating. Wifi works good, they answer the door with a smile if you need wood or anything, never seems like a bother. Great views and porches. I can't express how much I love this place. I was here for just a night, the lady ask me if I wanted to see a room first, I gently asked her If can stay one more night after seeing the porch in the back, it's more fun rather then staying in the big hotel. It's close to Franconia notch park. I loved the area there, I will be back when I get a chance. read more

I don't even know where to begin! My girlfriend and I stayed here for a couple of nights in early January and we can't wait to go back. The cabins are warm, cozy and have an amazing view of the river running right behind the property. At first glance, they look really close to the road and not very secluded, but once you walk in the door you feel like you are living in the woods with no one nearby. The owner's are extremely pleasant, and the cabins very clean. The fireplace is a great perk (especially for the winter), and having a kitchen to cook in really adds to the experience, making it feel more like a home. We chose this place because we didn't want the 'hotel' feeling and we were extremely happy with our decision. My boyfriend and I stayed in cabin 2 this past weekend and it was PERFECT! The both of us were more than pleased with our cabin :) The bed was comfortable, the cabin was spotless, there's a cute fire place and a enclosed porch looking over the Pemi River. The people who own Green Village are very friendly and accommodating. These cabins are conveniently located near everything, restaurants, bars, sight seeing, ZIP-LINING...everything was awesome! The ONLY thing I would recommend is a later check out time...which I understand why it is 10 AM but it would be nice if it was 11am or 12 pm for the later risers :) WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE!! read more

Stayed in the newly redone Cabin #1 and my family and I loved it! awesome new owners and they've made a ton of improvements already! Cabin was ON the river! Couldn't get closer with out actually being in the river! Nice access to the river to put our feet in and amazing views of the mountains in the front. Great price for an amazing place too! My husband and I stayed 4 nights in cabin 4 a year ago in October. The cabin was just what we wanted: a clean, cozy place to stay in as we enjoyed the nearby White Mountains. The cabin's layout is great, with the tv in the front room, away from the bedroom, so if one of us wanted to watch tv while the other relaxed, we could. The kitchen was clean and well stocked, with microwave, stove, cutlery, cups, a coffee maker, coffee...even sugar and coffee filters! Great little eat-in kitchen area, along with a nice porch overlooking the beautiful Pemigewasset River. The cabin was nice and warm throughout, even on those chilly nights. Great little fireplace. Dave and Patty are friendly and accommodating. We wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back! read more

My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights we were very pleased with the cabin. We stayed in cabin 5 and it was exactly what we expected plus. It was super clean, cozy and more than enough room for 2 people. Great views of the river and calming to listen to at night or while having something to eat on the porch. The owners were great!! Answered all of our questions and gave us suggestions of places to eat and hike. We will defiantly be back but plan on staying for more than 2 nights as we didn't want to leave. My boyfriend and I stayed here this winter for a weekend while visiting the Ice Castles. There are beautiful views of the river right out on the back porch. The owners are absolutely wonderful! They give you your privacy and keep your whole stay feeling very low-key and relaxing. We forgot one of our extra blankets (which we didn't even need- they supply more than enough blankets, pillows, and other linens!) so they sent it in the mail and it was on my doorstep two days later! We booked this cabin as a place to stay on our roadtrip through the NE. The location is great, the owners are great, right on the river is awesome. The space is nice. The cabins could use some updating but I know Andy and his wife just bought them less than a year ago. Andy offered all sorts of recommendations and said if we need anything they were always there. My husband spent a lot of time on the rocks in the middle of the river. Right up the road from Franconia Notch and super cute downtown area. read more

My date and I wanted a weekend getaway and decided to book with green village cabin. We stayed at Cabin 8. It was small but it was just right for two people. The bed wasnt that comfy but the cabin itself was clean. Nice fireplace and a cute loveseat. Even though, it didnt have a kitchen, it was okay since we wanted to venture out anyways. The cabin was close to a lot of attractions such as loon mountain (awesome summit cafe - get the frozen caramel latte!!), franconia notch(a must see-the basin), old man mountain (even tho it fell off), and clarks trading post (great bear shows). The owners were friendly (Patty and Dave)...She even gave us suggestions as to where we should hike (tho we never made it to georgianna falls) I heard it was gorgeous! We will definitely come back to this place. Maybe we will book one of the other cabins with the kitchen next time so I can practice on my cooking skills and get a view of the river rather than the road. Other than that, I was happy and satisfied :-) Great trip! read more

What a fantastic little place! I booked Cabin 2 for a weekend stay with my fiance.The owners were incredibly welcoming and warm upon check in and out. Upon arrival, I was a bit let down that the cabins are literally right on Rt. 3. But upon entry into the cabin, it became clear that that would not even be an issue. The room is cozy and absolutely adorable; looks like something right out of a story book. We had plenty of room to unpack our clothes, and I was happy to see a small cubby for hanging clothes up. The screened in porch on the back is where we spent a lot of our time while in the cabin, as it is less than 20 feet (if that) away from the Pemi River. The sound of the river drowns out any outside noises from the street or Whale's Tail Waterpark which is conveniently located right across the street. Luckily for us, we had some colder nights so using the woodburning fireplace just enhanced the overall cozy and romantic feeling of our weekend away. Besides the fact that the cabins are practically perfect, they are situated right off of the highway in Lincoln, close to many attractions, trails, and restaurants. I will absolutely be staying here again in the future! read more
